Mahama to emerge winner of NDC presidential primaries Ghanaians opine

While many would rather not wait and behold the outcome of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries, there are others who would rather go right ahead to predict the outcome.

In a facebook poll conducted by backend.theindependentghana.com, Ghanaians were asked, whom amongst the 12 NDC flagbeareship candidates would emerge the winner.

Out of 94 votes, 71 representing 76% of the total number of voters, voted former president, John Dramani Mahama as the candidate likely to emerge winner. This was followed by former Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah with five votes.

Former Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority, Sylvester Mensah and Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin had 5 and 2 votes respectively, while Prof Joshua Alabi came down with a single vote.
The remaining six presidential hopefuls received no vote.

The election has been slated for December 7, 2018, exactly two years to the next general elections.
