Another group from Russia that is in Ukraine, called the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), shared videos of its members fighting against the Russian government troops.

“The soldiers in the Kremlin’s army stopped fighting before the battle even began,” it was said.

Tetkino, a small village in the Kursk region, was one of the places attacked on Tuesday. The FRL said they now have full control over the village.

The media has checked and confirmed that the FRL footage showing a strike on a military vehicle in Tetkino is real.

Kursk Mayor Igor Kutsak decided to have all schools in the area switch to online classes from March 13th to 15th because of something that happened recently.

He also said that the city still has a system to let people know if there is a missile coming. The city has more than 400,000 people.

Earlier today, a Russian politician from Ukraine named Illya Ponomarev said that a border village in the Belgorod region called Lozovaya Rudka is now controlled by forces that are trying to free it.

On Tuesday, the Russian defense ministry said its forces, border guards, and FSB security service stopped the Kyiv regime from trying to enter Russia.

The report said that enemy soldiers, with tanks and armored vehicles, tried to invade Russia at the same time in three different areas in Belgorod region.

It also said that there were four more attacks on Tetkino, but they were pushed back.

Russian groups from Ukraine have been attacking across the border into Ukraine since the invasion started.

In May of last year, the Russian military stopped a similar attack in the Belgorod region and defeated the armed rebels.

The government of Ukraine said that two people, including a young boy, were killed on Saturday in attacks by Russian artillery. Russia also said it had shot down a Ukrainian fighter jet and destroyed a group of drones in different areas.

In Chasiv Yar, a person was killed by artillery fire, in the Donetsk region. This area is mostly controlled by Russia and has seen a lot of fighting during the three-year war.

The Russian military shot down 41 drones over the Rostov region, which is next to Ukraine and has a big army base. They also shot down two drones in the Kursk region and three in Volgograd. No one got hurt right away.

The government said that the air force destroyed a Ukrainian fighter jet over Pokrovsk, a city in the Donetsk region. This city is important to Russia and Ukraine lost control of another city called Avdiivka earlier in February. This is a big problem for Ukraine in their war against Russia.

The leader of a region in Russia called Belgorod said that drones from Ukraine attacked two villages near the border on Saturday, but no one got hurt. The governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, did not say how much damage the attacks caused.

Ukraine doesn’t want to talk about making peace with Russia, even though it has had some problems in its military. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy visited Turkey and Turkish President Erdogan said his country is ready to hold a meeting for peace between Russia and Ukraine.

If it’s true, the strike would be the most recent time Ukraine’s own Magura drones, small boats that can move fast without any crew, have been used successfully. These drones have become a big problem for the Russian navy. Just last month, drones destroyed Russia’s Caesar Kunikov ship and Ivanovets missile boat. The Russian military has not admitted to the losses, but Russian military bloggers and some media have reported on them.

In late December, Ukraine used long-range cruise missiles to destroy a Russian landing vessel in Crimea’s port of Feodosia. The Russian military said the ship was hurt in the attack, but Russian war bloggers said it was destroyed.

The Ukrainian military has been continuously using cruise missiles and drones to attack Russian radar facilities, air defense systems, and air bases in Crimea, which is a part of Ukraine that Russia took over in 2014. The strikes made the Russian navy do things to keep ships safe. They had to move some ships from ports in Crimea to Novorossiysk so they wouldn’t get hurt. This made it harder for the navy to do its work.

Even though the Black Sea fleet was damaged in attacks from Ukraine, it is still strong and can still launch long-distance missile attacks at Ukraine. Russian air bases in Crimea are still working and have planes that are flying missions to help their soldiers on the ground.

Russian military bloggers said that the leader of the Black Sea fleet, Adm. Viktor Sokolov was fired last month because the warships under his command kept getting lost. They did not officially confirm that he was removed from his position.

Ukraine’s military has announced that it has shot down 10 Russian military jets in the past 10 days, a dramatic rise from the previous months.

The statement comes in spite of the shortages faced by Ukrainian forces due to delays in Western supplies.

Ukraine claims that it has destroyed a total of 342 Russian planes and 325 helicopters since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.

These numbers cannot be confirmed independently. Russia remains silent.

“Another one! In addition to the one in the morning!” Ukraine’s General Staff posted on Facebook on the afternoon of 27 February.

“Oops, we did it again!” the Ukrainian defence ministry joked on X (formerly known as Twitter). “And now it’s 10 ruined Russian planes in 10 days!”

Ukrainian Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk says that the latest two Russian aircraft to be shot down are Su-34 bombers – both downed in the east of the country.

“Considering such losses of fighter and special aircraft, the Russians should think twice and stop their aviation meat grinders for a while,” he said.

Gen Oleshchuk was referring to a Russian military strategy that involves sending large numbers of troops into combat with no care for their lives.

Ukraine says that it has shot down some of the best aircraft that the Russian air force has to offer between 17 and 27 February.

They include a highly advanced and rare A-50 military spy plane. If true, this would be the second A-50 to be shot down in just over a month, a humiliating loss for Russia and a major victory for Ukraine.

The other Russian planes that Ukraine says it has shot down in that period are seven Su-34s and two S-35 fighter jets.

One weapon that Ukraine is likely to have used is the US-supplied Patriot surface-to-air missile.

The higher number of Russian planes that Ukraine says it has shot down recently suggests that “Ukraine is being more aggressive with risking Patriot launchers close to the frontlines in order to engage Russian jets,” Justin Bronk, a senior research fellow at the London-based think-tank Rusi, told the BBC.

The recent surge has several possible reasons, such as increased deployment of such aircraft by Russia and more effective air defence systems used by Ukraine.

But without precise information on resources deployed on the battlefield, it can be hard to fully explain the increase in Ukrainian claims.

Such an increase, however, is still noteworthy.

Ukraine says it shot down a Russian military spy plane called A-50. This is the second time they have made this claim in just over a month.

The plane got hit between two Russian cities, over 200km away from where the fighting is happening, according to military sources from Ukraine.

Emergency responders found pieces of a plane near Kanevskoy district and successfully extinguished a large fire.

Russia hasn’t said anything about the statement. This Saturday is the two-year anniversary of Russia starting a big invasion.

Mykola Oleshchuk, the leader of Ukraine’s Air Force, thanked his team and military intelligence for shooting down a plane on Friday. He also mentioned that the incident happened on an important Russian military holiday.

“Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day to all the soldiers,” he said on Telegram.

A video on the internet shows a plane getting shot down in the sky. There were big flames and a lot of dark smoke after the plane crashed.

Krasnodar’s emergency officials said a plane crashed near Trudovaya Armenia village, Kanevskoy district, and a fire was put out later. It didn’t give any more information.

At least one Russian military-related Telegram channel hinted that the plane may have been shot down by accident. Fighterbomber said: “We don’t know who shot it down right now. ”

Ukraine said they shot down an A-50 plane on January 14th.

The UK’s ministry of defence said Russia likely has six working A-50s in use.

The plane finds air defenses and helps Russian jets attack targets. It can cost a lot to make—hundreds of millions of dollars.

Ukraine has been having a hard time making progress against Russian soldiers in the southeast.

Last month, the Ukrainian army said that a plane called Il-22 control centre and another plane called A-50 were destroyed in an incident.
