Wife of the late Christian Atsu Twasam, Marie-Claire Rupio, is still coming to terms with the loss of her husband in the recent Turkey-Syria earthquake disaster.
According to a recent post on social media, dealing with the loss of her husband and father of her children, has been difficult for and her children, who miss their father terribly.
Despite the pain, Marie-Claire has been using her Instagram account to share fond memories of her husband with family and friends.
Recently, she posted a heartwarming video of Christian standing on a hovering board with one of their children, riding around what looked like their living room. She also shared a greyscale picture of him and another photo of their children.

However, the grieving wife was taken aback when she received an unpleasant message from someone under her post.
In response, Marie-Claire posted a message on her Instagram story, asking people to refrain from leaving negative comments.
She seems to occasionally share cherished moments she had with her husband and their children while he was alive.
Marie-Claire went on to remind her followers that she has three children who are still grieving and missing their father, and thus it’s not an easy time for anyone.
“If you have nothing nice to say under a reel that I have made for me, my children, Christian’s family and friends. Please do not comment! You do not need to follow me or anything if you do not like my photos or videos. I have 3 children who are missing their dad very badly so please it is not easy for anybody. Thank you,” she wrote.

It’s not clear what the comment was that provoked Marie-Claire’s response, but it’s evident that she’s still in a very fragile state, and it’s vital to be sensitive and respectful of her grieving process.
Before her husband’s death, Marie-Claire was always a private person, and she has maintained the same composure even in her time of pain.
Her posts on social media are mostly about her late husband or her children, a testament to the love and devotion she had for her family.
We can only hope that Marie-Claire finds the strength to carry on, knowing that she has the love and support of her family, friends, and followers.
Losing a loved one is never easy, but we pray that she finds comfort in the beautiful memories she shared with her husband and the legacy he left behind.
