    Asamoah Gyan, Depsite and others attend Akufo-Addo’s dinner for Kamala Harris

    In honor of US Vice President Kamala Harris, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo threw a state banquet on Monday evening.

    On March 26, 2023, the US Vice President flew into Ghana on a three-day state visit. After a quick ceremony at the Kotoka International Airport, she was welcomed by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

    On March 27, President Akufo-Addo hosted a dinner for the US Vice President and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, as part of their visit.

    Several well-known Ghanaians from the corporate, political, sporting, and entertainment worlds attended the state banquet.

    Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, National Security and Defence Ministers, Kan Dapaah and Dominic Nitiwul, as well as Attorney-General Godfred Dame were present.

    Among the notable personalities were Osei Kwame Despite, Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Asamoah Gyan, and Zoomlion CEO Joseph Siaw Agyapong.

    Others included Church of Pentecost Chairman Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Electoral Commission Chairperson Jean Mensa, and former MP for Jomoro Samia Nkrumah.

    Music stars Amakye Dede, Wiyaala, and Efya were also present to deliver impressive performances on the night.

  • Despite’s son Kennedy Osei throws lavish party after being called to the Bar

    Kennedy Asante Osei threw a lavish birthday party to celebrate his Call to The Bar on Sunday, November 13, through to November 14, 2022.

    In some videos that were shared on Instagram by UTVGhana, the millionaire’s son who doubles as a businessman was joined by his family, friends and colleagues from work.

    His wife, Tracy Osei, was also spotted while clad in a beautiful dinner dress coloured hot pink, she paired with the same colour heels and a long hair extension.

    On the other hand, Kennedy wore a simple but classy white long-sleeve shirt with a pair of grey pants.

    While the party went on, Despite and Dr Ofori Sarpong walked in and were taken to a table where his son introduced some people believed to be his friends to him.

    The millionaire looked nothing short of stunning with his signature neatly sewn short sleeve shirt and matching pants.

    On November 11, 2022, Kennedy Osei joined the tall list of graduates who were called to the Ghana Bar.

    The #Kency2020 originator clad a black and white attire matching it with a peruke that brought a sense of formality and solemnity to their graduation ceremony.

    In a post he shared on his Instagram, he posed wearing his graduation gown while seated with one leg crossed on the other.

    His caption that accompanied the post read, “The Time Is Here: KENNEDY ASANTE OSEI ESQ. #GODFIRST. Thank you.”

    Hassan Ayariga, a businessman and politician from Ghana, celebrated his birthday at home with a lavish party attended by celebrities and public figures.

    Exclusive images made available to GhanaWeb show the 50-year-old political candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC) attending to his visitors while donning a gold and white kaftan.

    He was accompanied by his wife, Anita Ayariga, and kids, who were all dressed in similar white and gold attire.

    The lavish birthday celebration for the APC leader was jam-packed with live acts, music, food, and joyful smiles.

    He was stopped at nothing when he was spotted sharing a dance with the famed catering service, Mencook, who joined him to thrill guests.

    This was after a black and gold cake almost the height of a 12-year-old was cut and a birthday song sang for the celebrant.

    The likes of Inspector of Ghana Police, Dampare, Despite, Ofori Sarpong, Edem, A Plus, Member of Parliament, Xavier Francis Sosu, and media personality, Kafui Dey, among other public figures, were present to celebrate the politician.
