    Police investigate death of 2-year-old at farm in Devon

    At Devon, a toddler passed away under mysterious circumstances.

    On Friday evening, emergency personnel flocked to the area close to the village of Lifton, but the two-year-old daughter was beyond saving.

    Six days later, her death is still being regarded as “unexplained,” and investigations are still proceeding.

    According to a Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman, officers were called to farms in the Lifton region of west Devon around 7 o’clock on Friday, June 16.

    At the scene, a two-year-old daughter was declared dead. Her heirs have been notified.

    ‘The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing on behalf of HM Coroner.’

    The Health and Safety Executive has been notified, the spokesperson added.

    The 12-year-old kid shown in this photo was the first person to die in an automobile accident in Cornwall.

    Harrison Palmer, who passed away following the collision on Tuesday afternoon, has received tributes.

    The toddler from Camborne, whose family was distraught, was described as a “lovely boy” by them.

    In a statement, they said: “We are saddened and grieved over the loss of our wonderful boy Harrison.
    Our anguish is indescribable in words.

    ‘We want to thank all of the emergency services and members of the community who did all they could.

    ‘We are also very grateful for the love, support, and condolences that we have received since.’

    The family has asked for privacy.

    Devon and Cornwall Police said officers continue to make enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.

    A 67-year-old man from Hayle has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care and attention and on suspicion of driving whilst unfit.

    He has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
