Accra Lions have suffered relegation from the Ghana Premier League after a 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 1.
Accra Lions started well with good possession and attacking strength, especially in the first half, creating several scoring opportunities in the first half.

Accra Lions made three substitutions in the 73rd minute with hopes of securing an equaliser or dominating; however, Dreams FC remained dominant and also followed with a substitution, introducing Aziz Musibau in the 77th minute.
He brought fresh energy and secured his side’s lead with another goal in the 84th minute.
Despite efforts to make a comeback, Accra Lions failed, causing them to be demoted to the Division One League.
