  • Man Enough or Not: The size of the penis

Man Enough or Not: The size of the penis

If I were to ask the average Ghanaian man which part of his body he would choose to save in a life-threatening situation, my best guess would be the penis.

Given that the male reproductive organ is crucial for human reproduction and continuity, it is understandable why many men, both locally and globally, prioritize protecting this vital asset.

While the penis is undeniably important, one aspect that seems to garner even more attention is its size.

Over the past decade, observations—both intentional and unintentional—have led me to the conclusion that men have long prided themselves on how well-endowed they are.

In an all-male Senior High School setting, discussions about the penis were among the most frequent topics, alongside girls and sex—not mutually exclusive issues.

You might argue that this focus was due to the all-boys environment, but I beg to differ. The underlying belief was that a man’s worth was linked to his ability to provide “good sex,” which many believed was dependent on penis size.

In the near future, we will examine expert opinions on the role of size in sexual satisfaction.

Reflecting on my high school days, I remember how young boys were preoccupied with the size of their penises. The frequency of debates about who was better endowed was astonishing. Knowing the size of one’s penis was as crucial as knowing one’s age. Any measure of size was referenced in discussions about girls and sex.

Those who were well-endowed took pride in showing off, while those who felt less endowed either exaggerated their size, claimed to be “growers,” or told the truth.

The message being communicated seemed to be that a man’s worth was determined by the size of his penis. To validate one’s manhood, one needed to deliver exceptional pleasure, thereby boosting his ego.

My experiences at the tertiary level echoed similar sentiments.

Living in a communal bathroom for a year, I struggled with the lack of privacy initially. Unlike my reserved nature, which was often mistaken for affluence, I had to adapt to sharing the bathroom with about 12 boys. I quickly learned the best times and places for privacy.

In that large bathroom, boys from all walks of life – colour, shape and size could be found. A prim and proper me just rushed in, finished my business and walked out. But the care-free ones did not mind walking about naked and displaying their God given talent.

Reflecting on this, I noticed that those with smaller penises were less concerned about showing off. They didn’t seem to link their masculinity with their size.

Yet, comments from three roommates in a more upgraded residence with an in-built washroom reinforced the idea that manliness was tied to size. Remarks like “You are a man” from a roommate to another, accompanied by taunts when we got out of bed confirmed this belief.

I believe that manliness encompasses much more than penis size. While the penis is a primary characteristic of a man (or male), true manliness involves responsibilities to oneself and one’s surroundings.

Unfortunately, many young men today still prioritize size over other qualities. This obsession has led some to resort to unapproved methods like pills or creams to enlarge their penises, risking their health.

The societal perception of manliness based on size is not inherent but a result of societal influence. Interviews conducted reveal that many people prefer well-endowed men, based on personal experience or hearsay.

Preferences are valid, but it’s crucial to express them respectfully, without belittling those who may not fit one’s ideal.

Health experts confirm that size is not the only factor in sexual satisfaction. Skill and maneuvering can make a sexual experience memorable, regardless of size.

This article aims to shed light on men’s mental health. Embracing oneself is crucial for building self-confidence and presenting the best version of oneself. Regardless of size, every man is “man enough,” and indeed, all sizes matter.

Below is a video of a group of men asked about the size of their penis and they share more than a number.

Man passes away in emergency room after going into cardiac arrest

In March of 2023, David Lippert, a 68-year-old executive from Kitchener, Ont. , went to the hospital in an ambulance because he was feeling weak and couldn’t walk. He wanted to find out what was wrong.

A day later, the hospital staff found him unconscious in the emergency room (ER). He had thrown up blood and was waiting to be admitted to the hospital. According to his medical records, he had a heart attack. He was later declared to be dead.

His wife, Lisbeth Lippert, wants to find out what happened and hopes that it will help make emergency room care better for other people.

“I just wanted him to be somewhere safe,” she told the media. “He’s really scared of dying in the ER. ”

Lisbeth says the hospital was very busy and noisy when she was there with her husband on the first day. He was kept close to where the nurse sits, and she heard them getting calls from other staff who were sick. She said it was obvious that there weren’t enough people working and they were very busy with patients waiting for care in the ER.

“They were running around really fast. ” Lisbeth said she doesn’t understand how anyone could do that job for a long time. She noticed that the nurses and orderlies were doing their best.

She said her husband was quickly checked by doctors and they said it was not a heart attack or stroke. However, they discovered that he had a severe lack of red blood cells, with a hemoglobin level of 40. They thought there might be bleeding in the stomach or intestines.

David was taking medication to make his blood thinner and had other health problems.

Lisbeth said he got some blood and now he wants to go home. He stayed and later decided to be admitted, as shown in his medical records. His blood count was still very low and could be risky.

The next morning at 7:30 am on March 14, Lisbeth got a phone call saying David had a medical emergency in the ER. Lisbeth had gone home to sleep before getting the call.

It took her almost a year to get all the papers from the hospital about her husband. The notes say that he was found in the emergency room, throwing up blood and his heart had stopped. “Medical teams quickly responded and performed four rounds of CPR to try to save him. ” He was brought to the intensive care unit, but they discovered that he was not responding. He also had seizures and showed signs that his brain was hurt because it didn’t get enough oxygen for a long time.

That’s when the doctor who specializes in stomach and intestines tested him and said he was bleeding inside his body.

The doctor’s papers show that David said yes to going into the hospital at midnight. No one added more information to his file until they found him the next morning.

“Did the GI doctors come when they were needed. ” Lisbeth asked

Brandon Douglas, who works at St Mary’s General Hospital, said that they are sorry for the family’s loss and they should contact their Patient Relations team for help.

Two emergency room doctors who were given permission to read the medical notes, told the media that they have concerns about not having enough staff and too many patients at the hospital, which could have led to the patient’s heart attack not being noticed or prevented sooner.

In a good health care system, a person with a stomach bleed and a low amount of hemoglobin is quickly admitted to the hospital. Blair Bigham told the media that there is an example of a man who should not have been in the emergency room for 22 hours before he got really sick. Bigham works at the University of Toronto as an assistant professor in the Public Health School.

“More people might die because of it,” said Dr. Michael Howlett, a doctor who helps people in urgent situations in Oshawa and the boss of the Canadian Association of Emergency Doctors, said that people have to wait a long time for help in the emergency room.

Howlett says he agrees with Lisbeth’s request for an investigation.

“It’s a person who stays in the emergency room for a long time because they have a serious health problem that is not easy to see, and it’s a threat to their life. They have to wait a long time for treatment. ” He said that the system is in trouble.

Man found guilty in his father’s drowning case over involuntary homicide

A man from Massachusetts was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for pushing his father‘s head under water multiple times while claiming he was performing a baptism and exorcising a demon.

A group of people decided that Jack Callahan, who is 22 years old, did something wrong after a trial that lasted eight days. Callahan will find out his punishment on May 3rd.

In June 2021, the police in Duxbury received a call that a 19-year-old named Callahan was acting strangely and that his 57-year-old father, Scott Callahan, was missing near a pond in a park.

The police found Jack Callahan at a house feeling very upset and breathing very fast. The fire department found Scott Callahan in the pond at the same time. He was declared dead at the hospital later.

The younger man was trying to help his father, who had left a place where he was being treated for drinking too much alcohol. They used a ride-share service to get from Boston to the pond. The two started to fight, according to the prosecutors.

Scott Callahan died by drowning, and prosecutors say someone caused his death.

Jack Callahan said he didn’t do it when he was accused of murder. In 2021, he told the police that he thought his father was controlled by a demon and needed a baptism and exorcism, according to investigators. The Patriot Ledger reported that the information was not part of Callahan’s trial.

Callahan’s lawyer said the investigation was not done well. He said the state did not have enough proof to prove Callahan guilty.

Man ultimately convicted guilty of rape after 20-year investigation

A man who raped many women has been sent to prison for 36 years because he killed a woman whose body was found in the forest a month after she disappeared in 2005.

Iain Packer, 51, was in court being tried for the death of 27-year-old Emma Caldwell in South Lanarkshire.

He was also found guilty of touching her inappropriately, and committing several sexual assaults on other women.

Miss Caldwell went missing on April 4, 2005, and then her body was found a few weeks later in Limefield Woods near the village of Roberton.

A few days ago, she told her mom Margaret that she wants to quit using heroin. She started using it in her early twenties after a family member died.

She was very close to her parents, and when she didn’t show up for a planned meeting, they quickly called the police to report her missing.

On May 8, someone walking a dog found her dead with a rope around her neck.

Packer was not arrested by the police until February 2022.

Police Scotland’s Assistant Chief Constable Bex Smith said that Emma Caldwell, her family, and many other victims were not supported by the police in 2005. We apologize for that.

Many women and girls who were brave enough to speak up did not get the help and fairness they needed from Strathclyde Police.

During evidence, the defendant admitted indecently assaulting Miss Caldwell.

During the trial, the person accused admitted to sexually assaulting Miss Caldwell in a way that was not appropriate.

But he kept saying he didn’t do any of the things they accused himof, even the accusations of raping 11 women. He said they were all lying.

Packer was accused of 36 crimes against 25 women. He said his actions toward sex workers were terrible and he felt ashamed of how he treated Miss Caldwell.

He said in court that he didn’t kill her. It wasn’t my fault. I didn’t do anything to her.

During the six-week trial, the jury listened to several women who talked about how Packer violently attacked them.

Ghanaian comedian Derick Kobina Bonney, widely known as DKB, has voiced his dismay in response to a shocking video involving a husband orchestrating a sinister plot to harm his wife and family through ritualistic practices at Amansan Shrine.

The man, seeking to cause harm to his wife Felicia and her family, reportedly consulted fetish priest Nana Akorley based on a recommendation from a friend.

The alleged plans included causing the death of his wife, injuring his brother-in-law, and inducing amnesia in his stepson, who resides in Canada.

The ultimate goal was to erase the stepson’s memory of the properties he had established for himself and his mother.

In a video released by Kofi TV, Nana Akorley alerted the man’s friend about the sinister plans, emphasizing that his work does not involve harming innocent individuals but rather saving them.

The disturbing video shows the man, armed with a knife, sitting in front of a pot filled with liquid containing pictures of himself and his wife.

Felicia, who owns a pure water company established by her son, was the intended victim.

Reacting to the alarming incident, DKB emphasized the importance of returning to African tradition and denounced the misuse of spirituality for harmful purposes.

He expressed gratitude for his faith, stating, “I don’t regret serving a faith/religion that doesn’t allow people to manipulate spirituality to cause me harm. Unashamed of the Gospel, thank God for Jesus Christ.”

Man dies after being bitten by his pet Gila monster in Colorado

Officials in Colorado have said that a 34-year-old person from the area died four days after being bitten by one of their two pet Gila monsters.

The animals are dangerous snakes that live in the southwest part of the United States. Their bites usually do not kill people.

But a specialist told media, that the person may have had an allergic response. The most recent deadly bite from a human is thought to have happened in 1930.

Dr Nick Brandehoff, who knows a lot about reptiles and toxins, told the media that the incident was not even in a medical journal.

He said that most bites make the area swell up and bleed.

Dr Brandehoff said that the death last week shows that we should respect all venomous animals.

The victim in Jefferson County, whose name is not known, had two meat-eating reptiles.

Gila monsters are the biggest lizards in the country and can grow to about 22 inches (56cm) long, according to the Smithsonian Institution. They are named after the Gila River. They are called Gila River.

On Monday 12 February, a young creature that was about 12 inches long bit the man.

He went to the hospital and passed away last Friday.

The coroner’s office in Jefferson County checked the body, but needs more tests to figure out exactly how the person died.

You need a license to own a Gila monster in this state. The man had tarantulas and it’s legal to have them.

An investigator from Colorado Parks and Wildlife said his team was asked to take the two Gila monsters out of the house.

The lizards from the desert will be sent to a special place to get better. The animal that bit the man will be taken to a lab at the University of Northern Colorado first.

There, the poison will be taken out and looked at to find out more about why its bite caused its owner to die.

  • Man remanded for stealing GHS292,534 for ailing mother

A 30-year-old man, Henry Hoyle, accused of embezzling GHC292,534 from his employer, has been remanded into police custody by an Accra Circuit Court. Hoyle admitted to the theft, citing the need to care for his ailing mother as his motive.

Although he pleaded guilty, Hoyle’s lawyer informed the court that he had already returned some of the stolen money.

The court, presided over by Isaac Oheneba Kuffour, convicted Hoyle based on his plea but deferred sentencing until the refunded amount is reconciled. The case has been adjourned to February 14, 2024.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Evans Kesse, the complainant, head of the Human Resource Department of an undisclosed company involved in online sales, reported that Hoyle, a former finance associate, had stolen company funds.

The theft involved transferring money to Hoyle’s personal mobile money numbers, which he used for personal expenses. The company discovered the embezzlement during a random internal financial check in May 2021.

When confronted, Hoyle admitted to the theft and explained that he used the money to address his mother’s medical needs. In an attempt to conceal his actions, Hoyle disabled the MTN Mobile Money Number service from his contacts.

However, the court obtained the mobile money statement, revealing fraudulent activities where Hoyle used his personal mobile money numbers as fictitious customers to be reimbursed.

Investigations disclosed that from December 27, 2018, to May 12, 2021, Hoyle dishonestly appropriated a total of GHC292,534.00 by transferring GHC175,642 and GHC116,892.00 into his personal numbers for personal use.

The accused further dispersed the embezzled funds by transferring money to other accounts, leading to his arrest and subsequent prosecution.

  • 10 style mistakes to avoid as a man

10 style mistakes to avoid as a man

Here are ten common style mistakes that men often make, along with easy solutions to fix them and enhance their overall appearance:

    Shirt Sleeves

Start by unbuttoning the cuffs and any buttons on the gauntlet (the part of the sleeve that extends from the cuff to the elbow). Fold the cuff back, flipping it inside out to create a clean edge at the desired length. Depending on the width of the cuff and your preference, you may need to fold the cuff one or two more times to reach just below the elbow. Smooth out any wrinkles or unevenness in the fabric to create a neat appearance. If the sleeves are still too long or too loose, adjust the folds until you achieve the desired length and tightness around the arm.

    Dress Shirt Muffin Top

When a dress shirt is not tucked in correctly, it can create a “muffin top” effect. To avoid this, you can use the military tuck method. This technique involves pulling the excess fabric on both sides of the shirt and neatly tucking it in, ensuring a smooth appearance. Pairing this with a nice belt can further enhance the overall look.

    Indoor Sunglasses and Caps

It’s generally considered improper etiquette to wear sunglasses and caps indoors. These accessories are designed for outdoor use and are best worn outside. When indoors, it’s polite to remove them to show respect for the indoor environment and those around you.

    Wristwatch

An empty wrist is a missed opportunity for style. A watch can elevate even a basic T-shirt, adding a touch of sophistication and enhancing your overall look.

    Leather Shoes for All Occasions

Leather shoes are versatile and can complement both jeans and shorts. This debunks the stereotype that they are only suitable for formal settings.

    Overreliance on Sneakers

While sneakers are fantastic, wearing them exclusively can limit your wardrobe options. Consider incorporating a variety of footwear styles, such as leather loafers, chukka boots, or Chelsea boots, to expand your style choices.

    No-Show Socks

Wearing no-show socks is essential when going barefoot in the sun to prevent blisters, discomfort, and bad odors from sweaty feet.

    Knowing When to Tuck

Knowing when to tuck in your dress shirt depends on its length. Longer shirts should be tucked in, while shorter shirts can be left untucked for a more casual look.

    Flappy Collars

When wearing elegant dress suits, it can be frustrating to have flimsy collars that don’t stay upright. To achieve a refined and tidy appearance, consider using magnetic collar stays.

    Dressing for the Occasion

It’s crucial to wear clothes that are appropriate for the situation. Always pay attention to the dress code and try not to be the person who shows up to formal occasions wearing casual clothes or vice versa. Wearing the right attire shows respect for the event and the people attending.

Court orders IGP, others, to pay GH250k for assaulting man

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) and three others have been ordered to pay damages totaling GH¢253,709 as compensation to a father of four who was assaulted by a police officer, resulting in his “inability to have an erection.”

The High Court in Accra, presided over by Justice Kwasi Adjenin-Boateng, ruled that the police officer used “unreasonable force” during the arrest.

Isaac Manu, a welder, was arrested in 2016 based on suspicion by his former employer of stealing a KIA Sportage car.

Mr Manu filed a lawsuit on May 31, 2019, seeking general damages for assault, special damages for medical expenses, compensation for psychological trauma, compensation for loss of earnings, loss of livelihood, and aggravated damages for his inability to have an erection.

The court found that Mr Manu’s arrest involved unreasonable force, with injuries to his face and eyes. Manu had sought medical attention, and subsequent examinations revealed permanent damage to his left eye.

Additionally, he claimed he could not have an erection after the assault.

In response, the defendants, including the Attorney General, Vivian Adeoku, Matthew Adrah, and Kwesi Asare, argued that the force used was minimal and reasonable during the arrest, and Manu’s injuries were minor.

The court, however, ruled in favor of the plaintiff, awarding general damages of GH¢10,000.00, special damages of GH¢43,709.00, and compensation for loss of livelihood and psychological trauma totaling GH¢200,000.00.

The defendants were jointly and severally ordered to pay these damages, along with a cost of GH¢20,000.00. Additionally, a cost of GH¢5,000.00 was awarded in favor of Vivian Adeoku, the third defendant.

  • 10 keys to always make your man happy

10 keys to always make your man happy

Understanding how to make a man happy is not as complex as it might seem.

Men, like anyone else, have specific needs and desires in a relationship, and meeting these can bring genuine happiness.

Yet, going the extra mile to enhance their joy can add a special spark to both your man’s life and the relationship.

Ten ways how to make a man happy

Some experts tell us that for love to flow freely between partners, there has to be an element of polarity. Polarity is the energy that creates attraction, chemistry, and, consequently, a relationship of openness and willingness to display vulnerability. And there are four things that a partner can do to get their man to become more “vulnerable” and open up more to her, allowing his love to flow freely. Four words: T (trust), A (admiration), A (appreciation), A (affection – physical).

    Trust

Trust is about communicating with the partner that they are accepted for who they are. Making your partner feel that they are doing their best. Trusting your partner is the first answer to the question, “How to make a man happy?”

Handsome Men And Beautiful Couple In Love Dating Concept

    Admiration

What makes a man happy in a relationship? Admiration.

Admiration is about thinking that he is awesome and great for you and letting him constantly know in various ways. Admiration can go a long way regarding how to make a man happy.

    Appreciation

Appreciation is about communicating how much you value his presence and contribution, however small because it makes them feel good about his contribution and, therefore, himself.

Appreciation for what they do and who they are is a very important way when it comes to how to make a man happy.

    Physical affection

Physical affection is about men needing to experience affection from their partners, as an extension of the previous three points. When a partner displays affection to a man, it communicates to him that they value, appreciate, and like him. He’s essentially their knight in shining armor.

It ultimately comes down to the one thing women need to understand about men and what they value above all else – respect.

    Respect

Figuring out how to keep your man happy starts with respect for him and yourself. This is a crucial point for everyone to understand. Respect is foundational to any healthy relationship.

But respect for another starts with respecting yourself. But here is where it gets interesting.

In heterosexual relationships, men thrive on respect, and women thrive on love. And a man is more willing to love a woman who respects him, and a woman is more willing to respect a man who loves her. But, this becomes an unhealthy cycle.

If you want him to show you more love, then it’s time to show him more respect, even when it’s difficult (within reason, of course). Respecting them is one of the most important ways to keep your man happy.

To understand more about the importance of respect in relationships, watch this video.

    Let go

Nothing sends a man running for the hills faster than trying to control him. When you allow him his space, then you are showing him respect. And that respect is what makes you attractive and appealing to him.

If you want to keep your husband or boyfriend happy, ensure that you learn to let go of things. This does not mean you do not voice your problems in the relationship, but forgiving and letting go are equally important.

Do not speak ill about him

How to make a man happy? Do not speak ill about him, especially behind his back.

Speaking badly about him and to him, that is emasculating or degrading, will only blow up in your face. Making him feel bad about his actions or ideas lets him know you don’t respect him. Consequently, it reduces his attraction to you.

Never use sex as a weapon

Keeping a man happy is not too tough. There are just some things you shouldn’t do.

You should never tease your man and play with his sexual desires. Do not use your body or sex to manipulate the situation. You have incredible power over him using your looks because he is incredibly visual.

But, when you use yourself this way, he loses respect for you. He may not need to respect you to love you, but if he doesn’t respect you, he’ll most likely be looking for someone he can respect.

    Be supportive

One of the key ways to ensure that your man is happy in the relationship is to support him through thick and thin. Men are natural providers, especially materially. If your husband or boyfriend is going through a rough patch in his career, job, or even with his family, just being there for him can make him happy.

Let him know that you are the anchor and rock in his life.

    Tap into their love language

Loving people is not too tough. You need to know what they need and how to be loved.

If you can tap into your partner’s Love Language ®, it might make them happy. If their love language is physical touch, hug and kiss them often. Similarly, if their love language is words of affirmation, you should tell them good things now and then.

    FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions about making a man happy.

How can I always make my man feel happy?

Making someone happy may always be an over-ambitious project. While you can ensure they stay happy for the most part and you do not do anything that upsets them, feeling happy all the time is not humanly possible. We, as humans, go through various emotions, and happiness is just one of them.

However, following the tips mentioned above can ensure that your partner is happy in the relationship for the most part.

What makes a man feel most loved?

This may be subjective. What makes one person feel the most loved may not be something another person values too much. It is important to understand what your partner believes makes them feel loved.

However, basics like feeling respected, appreciated, and valued make almost everyone feel loved.

What are a man’s needs in a relationship?

A man or woman may have similar needs in a relationship. Everyone needs basic communication, trust, respect, and appreciation in a relationship.

However, men, specifically, like to be needed or wanted. They are natural providers and caretakers, and feeling like you need them to accomplish something – even if it is something as basic as getting stuff from the top shelf, can make them feel very loved and valued.

    The takeaway

Happiness does not come from one part of life. Your relationship can only be one part of your life that brings you happiness. To be truly happy, one needs to make peace with themselves and be content with all parts of their life.

That being said, as a partner, you can make things easier by bringing them happiness. Truly loving your partner and being there for them can make them happy and help them get over most things that can worry them.

  • Man gathers money to send fire engine to Ukraine

A man has raised £20,000 to buy a fire engine for a town in Ukraine after vehicles there were diverted for the war effort.

Bob Frendt from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, delivered medical aid to the town of Volodymyr.

But after learning that people did not have fire trucks because of the war, the 73-year-old man came up with the idea of raising money to buy a new device.

When he bought the fire truck, a company in East Yorkshire donated a second vehicle to send to Ukraine.

Mr. Frendt, a former truck driver, has previously made shipments to the northwestern city, including a 40-ton medical aid trailer, a double-decker station wagon for sorting and Learning materials for a school. He said that during a recent visit, the mayor asked him if he “had a fire truck available.”

Mr Frendt told BBC Radio York: “The central government withdrew fire trucks from all these towns at the start of the war to protect Kiev and other major towns where all the heritage sites are located.”

“I asked what would happen if there was a fire and he said, ‘we just stand there and watch, because we can’t do anything else’.”

    “Terrible” situation

He said he was “appalled” by the situation but doubted he could raise enough money to buy a fire truck.

Mr. Frendt said he was later introduced to the wife of the first Ukrainian killed when his tank exploded during the war.

“His widow is 32 years old, has two young children and they live on the sixth floor.

“I asked what would happen if there was a fire or missile attack [on the building]? She replied ‘we will die because we cannot get out’. So that motivated me. It’s terrible. »

He raised enough money to buy a fire truck, with the support of manufacturer Angloco Limited, who he said gave him a “huge discount” on the purchase of the equipment.

A donation of £10,000 was also made by a man who wanted to contribute to the appeal in memory of his mother.

The fire truck was named Joyce in his honor.

Mr Frendt said chemical company Croda, based in East Yorkshire, donated a second fire truck when it placed an order with a company that manufactures the vehicle. It would take him four days to drive the emergency response vehicle to Volodymyr.

He said these were “specialized” fire engines and the new vehicle would be equipped with a 32 meter high ladder – something he knew would reach the family on the sixth floor of a building.

  • I have a side chick because my wife doesn’t treat me well

I have a side chick because my wife doesn’t treat me well

A Ghanaian man who has been eight years married has revealed his motivations for engaging in extramarital relationship.

For nearly a decade, Tee feels he’s alone in his marriage. The husband and father of four says his wife does not take up her role as the woman of the household.

In a no-hold back on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Tee claimed he is a responsible man who provides everything needed for his household, his wife, however, does not hold up her end of the bargain.

He says the situation has sucked out all the romance in the marriage and feels unloved.

“I’m a very responsible man, I have a wife and I sometimes ask her to do something for me, my intention is not to stress her, but she’ll tell ‘I don’t have time.’ This has been happening for a long time,” he told co-host Kojo Yankson.

“As a responsible man you go around and do everything for the family and the woman you decide to be with treats you as if you are a child staying with her,” he narrated.

Tee believes the situation is what propelled him to seek comfort outside his matrimonial home.

Narrating how he met the other woman, popularly called side chick, Tee said he was always buying food outside and this lady expressed concern.

Although he didn’t divulge the actual reason, Tee said the lady, who at the time was just a friend, has since taken on the role to ensure he is well-fed and taken care of.

“I’m not saying that it is a behaviour that everyone should do but sometimes the behaviour of some wives to push men into this behaviour. Men are like kids, if you don’t give your child food to eat, he will go somewhere to eat,” he said.

He further added that although it is not his wish to cheat on his better half, his wife’s behaviour has gradually pushed him away.

Husband dies after realising unborn baby is not his

A Nigerian man is said to have passed away from shock after learning that his wife, whom he sponsored to relocate overseas for a better life, was pregnant by someone else.

This cruel story was shared by Twitter user @BolanleCole who claimed that the man had struggled to send his wife and two kids to the United Kingdom so they could have a better life while he remained in Nigeria.

Disappointingly, the wife started having an extramarital affair with another man when she arrived in her safe haven.

Their relationship resulted in pregnancy, which the husband only found out about it recently after his wife gave birth.

The tweep noted that the news of the woman’s infidelity and pregnancy was too much for the man to bear, leading to his sudden death.

You don’t need a man to have a child – Media Personality tells women

Media personality, Christiana Sweety Aborchie has said that women do not need men to give birth.

According to her, women who have the perception that they cannot have children without the help of a man become limited in their ability to explore life.

She said this on Prime Morning during a discussion about the topic, “Gender Bias Perception: Society’s Take on the Woman.”

“I still think a woman decides what she wants to do with her life and how she wants to raise her child. If I decide to go get some artificial insemination as a single woman and have a kid, I can do that. I think it’s limiting to think that I need to have a man to have a child. You don’t need a man to have a child,” she said to Asieduwaa Akumia.

She attributed her assertion to the fact that the world has advanced technologically, as there is easy access to information and other initiatives through the internet.

Sweety Aborchie further indicated that it is not compulsory for women to respect men, admitting that it is reciprocal.

She asserted that, “respect is not a gender thing. Women must not respect men at all costs. Respect is earned.”

She noted that men who do things in the right manner gain the level of submission expected of their wives.

To men who demand respect from women, she said, “They don’t know enough.”

Meanwhile, Sweety Aborchie has urged divorced wives to examine themselves to know the reason behind the divorce, as they may be at fault.

  • Cambridge Dictionary changes the definition of ‘woman’ and ‘man’ to include transgender

The definitions of “man” and “woman” in the Cambridge Dictionary have been updated to incorporate a new definition for those who do not identify with the sex they were given at birth.

Along with the definition, the dictionary also gave two examples to explain the meanings. For ‘man’, the examples read: “Mark is a trans man (= a man who was said to be female when they were born)” and “Their doctor encouraged them to live as a man for a while before undergoing surgical transition” or ‘woman’, the examples are: “She was the first trans woman elected to a national office” and “Mary is a woman who was assigned male at birth”.

Meanwhile, the first definition at the entry for woman remains unchanged and continues to be “an adult female human being” and man “an adult male human being.”

The previous definitions assumed that sex and gender identity always adhered to one another. The new definitions, however, are inclusive of trans people.

Speaking about these updates, a Cambridge Dictionary spokesperson told international media outlet; The Telegraph, that editors of the dictionary made the addition to the entry for woman in October 2022.

On the other hand, social media users have conflicting opinions about the most recent definitional adjustments.

Changing the meaning of words create a different kind of language. If a cat is now a dog, you just create a different reality where words stopped describing reality the way it is in order for you to control the narrative.

  • After bike accident, man in US wakes up thinking it’s 1993, asks wife to marry again

A man who barely survived a motorbike accident in the United States last year woke up thinking it was 1993 and asked his wife to marry him again.

Kristy and Andrew Mackenzie from Virginia nearly died in a motorcycle accident in June 2021 after a car skipped a red light and smashed into the pair. As per ABC 7, the couple was launched more than 50 feet across the street leaving the husband unconscious and in need of life-saving surgery. Following the accident, the pair was immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital as they suffered internal bleeding, punctured lungs and broken bones.

But when Andrew woke up three days later in the hospital, he thought he was back in 1993. 29 years of his life had disappeared into thin air. Speaking to the outlet, Kristy said that he didn’t even recognise his own daughters, Lorelai Mentzer and Amanda Mackenzie.

“He just immediately, it was, ‘Where’s my wife? Where’s my wife?’ And I think he thought I was working at the hospital,” Lorelai said.

Andrew, on the other hand, told the outlet, “One of the first things I remember is Kristy in a wheelchair bedside trying to worry about me taking care of myself.”

The family was given the devastating news from the doctors who were unable to confirm if Andrew’s memory would ever return. However, upon hearing the news, his wife convinced the hospital staff to put her husband in her room as she believed this would help aid his memory.

“He started coming around asking me things and I was, like, amazed,” Kristy said, adding, “There were happy tears, and within 24 hours, he was a new person”.

After spending 11 days in the hospital and extensive rehab, the couple was then able to walk. As per ABC 7, they even took a family beach vacation in August. During this trip, Andrew popped the question for a second time and the couple renewed their vows days later.

“Luckily, she said yes. We’d already been married 37 years or whatever, and so it worked out,” Andrew said.

Post a comment The 58-year-old, who doesn’t remember any of the accident, also added that his wife is the one person who got him through.

A 55-year-old man has reportedly been killed during a fight over goat meat at Sehwi Paboase, a community in the Sehwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North region.

According to onuaonline.com, the victim who was identified as Buley was hit on the head by his close friend, Azuley, as they were fighting over a dead goat given to them by a neighbour.

  • Kwame Nkrumah’s bodyguard paid GH¢47 as monthly pension

The current state of an 85-year-old man who served as a bodyguard to Ghana’s first president is sadly one that speaks of neglect by the state he served.

Christian Blukoo was a bodyguard of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah but now in his retirement, the old man who is now visually impaired is finding life difficult.

Amidst the current economic hardship, Mr Blekuu lives on a meagre GHC47 monthly pension allowance despite his history of dedication and service to the state and the first president of the land.

More sadly, the 85-year-old visually impaired old man who resides at Mafi-Adidome in the Volta Region’s Central Tongu District, does not receive the ¢47 monthly pension allowance on time.

“Because the money is small, I go to the bank every three months. Even that does not come regularly,” he lamented in Joy Prime documentary dubbed ‘The Last Guard.’
He indicates that various attempts aimed at getting the government to effect an upward adjustment to his pension allowance have proved futile.

The efforts include an appeal letter written on his behalf by the Ghana Government Pensioners Association in 2014 to the Controller and Accountant General.

Further attempts to alleviate Mr Blukoo’s plight by seeking support from the government’s Disability Fund which was introduced to empower persons living with disabilities have also failed.

“Up to now…Ghana! They took my pictures and particulars but I haven’t gotten anything. They said they will send it to my phone but up to now [nothing has come]. So, I don’t want anybody to suffer for me,” the pensioner shared his frustration in seeking support from the Fund.

Despite his predicament and disappointment over his neglect by the state, Mr Blukoo finds a bit of comfort in listening to his three radio sets, and is hopeful of living to celebrate his 100th birthday.

  • Meet the adorable white cubs at the Accra Zoo birthed in November 2021

On Sunday, August 28, 2022, the story of a man mauled by lions at the Accra Zoo sparked wild conversation across various platforms.

Aside from the bizarre nature of the incident, there were concerns about what could have warranted the actions of the middle-aged man.

Amidst this, a lot of speculations about why the man leaped a fence that was 20 feet high and entered the den of one of the savagest animals on earth.

One of these was a suggestion that the man wanted to steal one of two cubs of the male and female lions at the zoo.

While investigations are still underway to determine the details of the incident, GhanaWeb takes you back with a little throwback of when the Accra Zoo welcomed its beautiful pair of white cubs.

The Accra Zoo welcomed fresh set of cubs in November 2021, according to a statement that surfaced the internet indicated that the cubs arrived on November 6, 2021.

A few days after their birth, the two were seen in lovely photographs holding hands together. According to information by the Forestry Commission, both the male and female cubs showed distinctive traits.

They were both born with spotless white coats, quite different from the usual yellowish-brown coat cubs of lions are usually born with.

The commission however indicated that the white colour was not out of place and could change as they grow based on the dominant genes of their parents.

The question though is whether it was one of these two cubs that the said unidentified man may have wanted to have.

Meanwhile, the Forestry Commission and Lands and Natural Resources Ministry have allayed fears that the Accra Zoo may not be safe.

Head of Corporate Affairs and Media Relations at the Forestry Commission, Joyce Ofori Kwafo, and Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Benito Owusu-Bio have assured the public that the incident was not resultant of any security breaches.
