Kumawood actress Mercy Asiedu recently shared a delightful and funny anecdote about how her husband, Nana Agyeman Badu Duah, was drawn to her after catching a glimpse of her in a film.
In an interview with Hitz FM on October 8, 2024, Asiedu disclosed that her physical features, especially her bust, piqued her husband’s interest long before they actually met.
Reflecting on their love story, she explained that he first became aware of her in the movie “Asore Ba,” which marked her breakout role in the industry.
“He said to himself, ‘This woman has nice bosoms,’ and he promised to find me once he returned to Ghana,” she said.
Their paths crossed by chance when she was on a movie shoot and ended up staying at the same hotel as her future husband.
He approached her, and they struck up a conversation, leading to an instant connection.
“He told me that he had seen my movie and was impressed, not just with my acting but with my appearance. We exchanged contacts and kept in touch from there.
The chemistry between us grew, and soon, we found ourselves in a romantic relationship that eventually led to marriage,” she shared.
Mercy Asiedu expressed her gratitude for her husband, describing him as loving and a perfect gentleman.
