According to report, a Google software engineer died after collapsing at the internet company’s Manhattan offices.

According to the New York Post, which cited police sources, a 31-year-old man died after falling to his death on Thursday night at approximately 11.30 p.m.

According to reports, the individual was employed by the search engine at its Chelsea headquarters at 111 8th Avenue. He was discovered unresponsive on the street and rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was later declared dead.

Handprints and footprints were reportedly found at an open-air terrace on the Google building’s 14th floor. The man left no note before the fatal fall.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) was not able to confirm details of the incident yet.

Metro.co.uk has also reached out to Google, who have not responded to any requests for comment.

Thursday’s incident is the second reported death of a New York City Google employee in just over two months.

On February 16, Jacob Pratt, a 33-year-old partnership leader at the company, was found dead in his apartment. His death was ruled a suicide.

It’s also the second falling death in New York City this week. On Tuesday, a 20-year-old mother from Colorado fell to her death from a Times Square hotel.

Dezirae Andersen was found dead after falling from the roof of the OYO Times Square hotel on West 47th Street. Police said that she got into a physical fight with her boyfriend, Tyler Griffin, just before the fatal plunge.

Police were originally called to the hotel on reports of Griffin assaulting Andersen in her hotel room.

Andersen then fell from the building’s 10th floor, and landed on scaffolding above the street.

Police have since arrested Griffin, 24, and charged him with assault, reckless endangerment, and acting in a manner that could have harmed a baby.

Jonathan Majors’ attorney claims that his client is “totally innocent

The actor Jonathan Majors is “totally innocent,” according to the actor’s attorneys.

According to the New York Police Department, the Marvel celebrity was detained on Saturday after being suspected of punching a lady in a domestic quarrel.

The 33-year-old Majors’ legal team released a new statement on Sunday, claiming that the incident was actually the consequence of a lady the celebrity knew going through a “emotional crisis.”

Additionally, they promised that all allegations against their client will be “imminently withdrawn.”

The statement read: ‘Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.

‘We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.’

It continued: ‘This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.’

The statement concluded: ‘All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever. Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday.

‘The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.’

The alleged victim, a 30-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to hospital in stable condition, according to a police statement issued to Metro.co.uk.

Creed III actor Majors was arrested on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment, and taken into custody without incident, with his representative denying any wrongdoing.

The exact nature of his relationship with the woman is currently unknown.

Majors is no longer in police custody.

He was spotted leaving a New York City courthouse on Saturday night after being charged with assault.

In pictures obtained by DailyMail.com, the actor was clad in a long navy coat, dark trousers and a white T-shirt, and a baseball cap with ‘Freedom Freedom’ written on it.
