Ghanaian actor Idikoko shares chilling encounters as a ride-hailing driver

Ghanaian actor Augustine Abbey, famously known as Idikoko in the movie industry, unveils spine-tingling moments he experienced while working as an online commercial driver.

In an exclusive interview on the Stripped by Sika Osei show, Idikoko revealed the hair-raising incident that occurred when he set off for work at the ungodly hour of 3 am.

Picture this: It’s dark, and the passenger he was supposed to pick up seemed to have vanished into thin air. As he decided to leave the dimly lit area, the back door of his car unexpectedly swung open, sending chills down his spine.

To his surprise, standing before him was a bare-chested midget, sporting nothing but boxer shorts and a singlet around his neck. The pint-sized passenger wasted no time and questioned Idikoko about why the air conditioning was off.

Idikoko recalled the astonishing encounter, “I reached Kwame Nkrumah Circle, and then a request came in, so I headed towards Alajo to pick up the person. However, when I arrived, the passenger informed me that he was actually in Achimota, resulting in him canceling the ride. Just as I was about to leave due to the dimness of the area, the back door opened, and there was the midget—a short man with no shirt, only boxer shorts and a singlet around his neck.”

Idikoko continued, “He questioned me, ‘What’s wrong with you, driver? Why won’t you turn on the AC? I requested a ride, and here you are just parked without the AC.’”

Shocked and taken aback, Idikoko swiftly commanded the midget to exit his vehicle and sped away. The security guard who witnessed the eerie scene that night was left startled and fled in fear.

The bewildered actor couldn’t comprehend how the midget had managed to request a ride in the first place, leaving him in utter disbelief.

But that’s not all! Idikoko recounted yet another hair-raising encounter, this time involving a lady with an extraordinarily large tongue.

“After dropping off a passenger near Ashale-Botwe, I received another ride request, still in a remote area. I decided to wait for the mandatory 5 minutes to pass, planning to find a polite way to cancel the trip. However, within those 5 minutes, the door swung open, revealing a lady in a tracksuit with an abnormally large tongue. She sat in the car and instructed me to drive. I was petrified,” Idikoko recounted, his voice trembling.

These bone-chilling encounters have left Idikoko with lingering goosebumps, raising questions about the uncanny circumstances surrounding these peculiar passengers.
