Tanzanian online media outlet Millard Ayo has become the first African media to hit one billion views on its YouTube channel.
It’s proprietor – who goes by the same name – has thanked those who visit his channel for news.
He tweeted a photo celebrating the milestone:
In June, Tanzanian artist Diamond Platinumz became the first African musician to hit one billion views.
