Micky’s interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show was intriguing from the outset.
The social media sensation began by playfully comparing the presenter’s beauty to a pestle, suggesting that, like a pestle’s pounding end altered for better functionality, Delay’s beauty has stood the test of time and continues to radiate, enhancing her overall allure.
Despite the passage of time, Micky appreciates and acknowledges Delay’s enduring beauty.
“The sweet melanin,” he said in the interview monitored by GhanaWeb while addressing the host, who is 41 years old. “The way you are, right from top to bottom, you can see everything is natural. Forever young. You’re over forty years old, but you look good.”
Resorting to simile, he continued, “You’re like a pestle. When the pounding end is cut, it becomes new. When you use it for about six months and cut the end again, it looks all new. That’s how you are. The way you look, you can be a hundred years old but still look young. You’re pure.”
Code Micky joins a list of personalities, including Okyeame Kwame, Dr. Likee, Amerado, and others, who have openly shared their perspectives on Delay’s appearance.
However, Delay’s acclaim extends far beyond her looks, as she is highly regarded for her exceptional interviewing skills.
Marked by a composed demeanor and insightful questions, Delay has solidified herself as a prominent figure in the industry, boasting a remarkable television career spanning over fourteen years.
Delay embarked on her broadcasting journey in 1999 at Life FM in Nkawkaw, Eastern Region. In 2005, she made her mark at Top Radio in Accra, hosting a midmorning show until 2007. From 2007 to 2016, Delay contributed her talents to Oman FM.
It was during her tenure at Oman FM in 2008 that she launched her own television show, ‘The Delay Show,’ a program that continues to captivate audiences, showcasing her enduring influence and impact in the industry.
