  • 20yrs in music has been a very rough journey for me – Piesie Esther

    Ghanaian gospel musician Piesie Esther has narrated her journey in the music industry over twenty years of venturing into music.

    Speaking in an interview on the DayBreak Hitz morning segment with Doreen Avio, the gospel musician told the host that the musical journey has been full of challenges and rough.

    Piesie Esther recounted her past life and the struggles she went through before she caught up with fame. According to her, she had to go into trading and sold anything she believed would bring profits just to survive.

    “20 years in music has been a rough journey for me. The family I came from loves God even though it was a poor family. That was back then”.

     

    A few weeks ago, Gospel musician Piesie Esther disclosed that she has been sponsoring her music career for over two decades.

    She said, “I’m celebrating my 20 years in the gospel music ministry and since I started doing music and I have never had an executive producer,” She revealed to Amansan Krakye.

    Piesie Esther continued “It is by the help of God that has held us over all these years so if the Lord has been graceful to me till now for the past 20 years then God has been good to me.”

  • Ghana’s National Gospel Music Awards 2022 :Full list of winners

    They were announced at a special awards ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

    Winners for the 2022 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards have been announced.

    Hosted by James Mensah and Eno Safo, the glamorous night saw Heavenly performances from Amanda (poet), Kwame Gyedu, KobbySalm, Scott Evans, Piesie Esther, Celestine Donkor, Bethel Revival Choir and others.

    The 5th edition of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) was powered by Global Expert Recovery Limited with sponsorship from Pedlo Energy. It was supported by Africa World Airlines.

    The organizers also honoured Elder Samuel K. Ampiah with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

  • Diana Hamilton, Piesie Esther, others listed for Ghana National Gospel Music Awards on August 27

    Organizers of the prestigious Ghana National Gospel Music Awards have announced a date for the most anticipated event.

    The announcement comes a few weeks after the nominees for the 5th edition of the awards scheme were announced.

    Slated for Saturday, August 27, 2022, the event which takes place at the Accra International Conference Center will see a list of the most sought-after Gospel musicians including Diana Hamilton, Piesie Esther, Celestine Donkor and KobbySalm perform on the night.

    Musicians Diana Hamilton, M.O.G. Music, and Akesse Brempong lead the 2022 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA).

    The musicians grabbed 8 nods each in different categories for their works released in the year under review. They however battle it out for the prestigious Gospel Artiste of the Year category.

    Empress Gifty and Celestine Donkor also grabbed 7 nominations each.
