The Holy Spirit is always thwarting evil plots against me – Yul Edochie’s second wife

Judy Austin, the second wife Nigerian actor Yul Edochie, has described how the Holy Spirit constantly fights her battles, by thwarting individuals who plot evil against her.

Judy testified to being a major beneficiary of God’s unlimited blessings while declaring herself special and His number one.

She narrated how she has continued to enjoy God’s goodness from her tender age till this moment because she placed absolute faith in Him.

The actress,in a video titled: “IJELE. Judy Austin breaks silence. Shares her story”, posted on her hubby’s Facebook page, asked people to thank God on her behalf.

She said: “I really don’t know where to start from; God loves me so much. I know it might sound strange to a lot of people but God loves me so much.

“I don’t know if he loves people like he loves me. He loves me so much, you will not understand. They says it he that wears the shoes that knows exactly where it pinches. It’s only me that knows, just me.

“But God loves me so much. He has continued to fight my battles. I want the entire world, the whole universe to worship God with me because He has been awesome to me.

“I am a special child, I’m so special. From the time I was born, from my childhood, my youth, till I gave birth to all my kids even till this last baby; oh God! I have experience.

“I’ve experienced a lot of things in this life. I actually started experiencing it from a very tender age. But you know, one thing is consistent in my life, and that thing is God’s love.

“He has loved me all the way. Even when it seems like I won’t make it. Even when it seem like the trouble around me will swallow me whole, somehow, I pull through. Somehow, I’ll still be at the top. I don’t know how that happens but I don’t have to know because God works in mysterious ways.

“He has truly shown me that I am His number one. If I want to talk about what I’ve been through in my very tender life, like how old am I? If I really want to talk about my blessings, I don’t think we will go today.

“God has truly been awesome in my life. Anybody around me will tell you. Every prayer point, I’ve ever written down, God has answered every single one of them. And you know what, He can do it for you.

“If your faith is not one hundred percent in God, you won’t experience what I’m experiencing. I’m here today because I have one hundred percent faith in God Almighty, in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He’s my one and only. I brag with my God.

“I brag with the Holy Spirit because He has done so much for me. He fights my battles as if I’m a princess, like I’m a queen. Like I don’t have to ever stress, I just sit down. Let them come, I’m with you.

“Anybody that tries with me, the Holy Spirit scatters them. How special can you be? This is the height of being special in God’s arm. I’m His number one, I am God’s number one. God I thank you.

“See just have one hundred percent faith in God and forget the rest, no matter what’s happening against you, it means nothing. They say one with God is majority. You don’t have to be with the world, people are wicked. They want you to die.

“So you don’t need people’s validation. Once you have God’s validation in your life, you’re good. If you’re with God, you’re with the majority. There’s nothing that you’ll lack.

“I put to bed when it seems as if it won’t happen. That is God! He came through for me, He made sure that I am fine. Jesus Christ of Nazareth made sure that I, Judy am fine.

“And then I came home with my baby. I came out and my baby came out. Go and ask around, so many people have died from this. But I go through this and I’m still bouncing, enjoying, laughing, and dancing every day. God loves me!!!”

Psychologist educates Yul Edochie and his first wife on how to handle their loss

The news of the death of Kambilichukwu, the first son of Yul and May Edochie came as a shock to many on Thursday.

The 16-year-old reportedly died after he developed a seizure while playing football with his mates in school after their examinations.

As family members and friends of the couple are still grieving, a psychologist, Johnbosco Chukwuorji, has proffered ways they can cope during this period.

He told Saturday Beats, “I extend my deepest condolences to the entire Edochie family on the unexpected demise of the young boy. It is very painful to lose a son, but it has happened and it is the reality on the ground that the family needs to face. There are no right ways of grieving.

“One of the ways the couple can cope is by staying connected and communicating with each other. They are already passing through a strained relationship. This incident may further put a strain on their union. But to cope, they have to accept what they cannot change.”

Chukwuorji, who is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, spoke on the stages of grieving and how people could help the Edochies to cope during the mourning period.

He said, “There are five stages of grieving. These are the denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance stages. The first four stages are negative and unhelpful. The last stage is the most helpful and the ultimate. One will realize that the incident has happened and the best is to see ways to cope with it and life goes on.

“The couple should reach out to people and people should show understanding. It is not the time for people to go on social media and dig up the past on what has happened in their marriage. People should offer words of comfort to the family and share ways they had coped in the past with similar experiences.

“The family should also make an effort to reach out to their religious leaders for comfort. If they have a sense of spirituality, it is a time to draw closer to God. The couple should not also stay apart from each other. Staying together will help them to cope during this trying period.”

Although Yul and May have not made any post concerning the death of their son, some of their colleagues have continued to mourn with them.

Actress, Georgina Onuoha, wrote on Instagram on Friday, “Please say a word of prayer for May Yul-Edochie and her babies. Words are truly inadequate to express this level of grief. No mother or parent should ever have to go through this level of trauma losing a child. I still can’t believe this.”

On her part, actress, Uche Ogbodo, wrote, “This is so heartbreaking. I have been so mystified since morning. Rest in peace little one. Yul Edochie and May, my prayers are with you guys.”

Actress Iyabo Ojo wrote, “God please take control, please comfort them Lord. Yul and May Edochie, you are in my prayers. I am so sorry for this great loss.”

Famous Nigerian actor and director, Yul Edochie has disclosed that it’s only a man with two wives that knows who owns his heart.

According to the tweet, ”who owns a man’s heart between a woman who is good in bed and another who can cook?”

Commenting on the post he shared, the actor said neither cooking nor being good in bed is enough to win hearts as there is more to it.

He wrote: “Ask the man. Only him can answer the question. Owning a man’s heart doesn’t come from cooking or being good in bed. There’s more to it.”

  • You’re a warrior, you fought well – Yul Edochie to Funke Akindele

You’re a warrior, you fought well – Yul Edochie to Funke Akindele

Akindele was the running mate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor.

Yul Edochie, the popular Nigerian actor and film director, has hailed his colleague, Funke Akindele.

Yul wrote a note of encouragement to Funke Akindele over her decision to remove all campaign pictures from her Instagram page following her defeat alongside her party in the March 18 gubernatorial election.

Akindele was the running mate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor.

While Jandor, won at his polling unit, 001 located in Irewe, polling 87 votes beating the APC candidate who secured 66 votes; Akindele, lost her polling unit 019 in Ita Aro square, Ikorodu, after garnering 19 votes against APC‘s 77.

Though she said that she had no regrets about running for political office noting the journey to the ballot was an eye opener, she, however, deleted all her campaign posters and politics-related posts.

But her colleague, Yul recounted his experience when he contested for governorship in 2017, and encouraged Akindele not to be put down by her loss at the poll.

He suggested that her decision to delete all posts about her political joinery and exploit was not the best as they are part of her battle scars as a warrior.

Yul, referring to the mother of two as a warrior, urged her to wear her battle scars proudly.

He added just like he still anticipates being the president of Nigeria someday, Akindele shouldn’t despair because she would also hold a political office in the future.

He said: “To my dear colleague, @funkejenifaakindele. I want to congratulate you for the bold political step you took, running for Deputy Governor of Lagos State. You did great.

“I noticed you deleted all your campaign pictures from your Instagram page. Of course, I can’t sit in my house and know your reason for doing so, neither is it my business. But as a concerned colleague and friend I want to encourage you and through you encourage others out there.

“A warrior is always proud of his or her battle scars. The scars are proof that he or she went to battle and came back alive. You’re a warrior.

“Your campaign pictures are part of your battle scars. Wear them proudly. Those pictures deserve to remain on your page forever. It’s a historical moment for you. A rare privilege.

“No matter what anybody says to you. Don’t be discouraged by those who are laughing at you for not winning. Na childish brain dey worry dem. Cowards will always laugh at the brave ones. That’s the only way they console themselves for being cowards.

When they grow up they’ll laugh at themselves for not having the courage to try what you did.

“There are no failures in life as long as you never give up. It’s either you win or you learn. The person who fails is that person who has not tried at all.

“Out of the millions of Lagosians you were picked to be Deputy Governorship candidate. It’s a human and spiritual honor to be given the opportunity to serve the people. It marks the beginning of your political journey. Never give up.

“In 2017 I ran for Governor of my state, from start to finish and it’s one of the best things I’ve done in my life. One of my proudest moments. I learnt a lot. My campaign pictures are still on my page, my battle scars. I wear those scars proudly. And I’ll never give up. One day I’ll be the President of Nigeria.

“Funke, you will sit in your office someday as Deputy Governor or Governor or President and look at your first campaign pictures and you’ll have tears of joy in your eyes. You will be proud of your journey. Never give up. I wish you the very best. May God lead you always. Cheers.”

  • Yul Edochie opens up on why his brother shunned Nollywood

Yul Edochie opens up on why his brother shunned Nollywood

Yul Edochie has revealed why his older brother, Linc Edochie quit Nollywood for good. The two popular children of legendary Nigerian actor Pete Edochie, Linc and Yul also took Nollywood by storm.

    However, Linc applied the breaks on his career and Yul has explained why this happened in an interview with The New Telegraph. See excerpts below;

On why Linc stopped acting, Yul said:

“Yeah, Linc started before me. He started like a year before I got in but later left to do something else. So, I would say we all have our own destiny.”

Speaking on if he plans to quit acting soon and what the future holds for him in Nollywood, Yul Edochie said:

“No, I am not even thinking about that. Never! I studied Theatre Arts and I took my time to read this so I didn’t just get in. I have a passion for acting and I have a passion for directing but I don’t have a passion for producing.

So, if I want to do my own films like right now I am planning on doing my own films, I am going to get a producer who is very good with that. Pay the producer to run everything but he’s going to be professional. So, I won’t say because it’s my film let me do everything, then I will mess it up.”

Yul also spoke on growing up with Nollywood icon, Pete Edochie, as his father.

    His words;

“It feels good. Growing up was really good with him as a father. He is extremely strict, but I thank God that He gave me a father like that. I couldn’t have wished for a better father. He is a strict catholic, so a lot of things I know today I learnt because of my background. Like I told you, I would rather die than dope. Kill me but I won’t dope and that’s how my father is.

My father made us to understand that it is better to have a good name. Good name will get you riches and everything you need. That’s the kind of family I was raised in, and my mum too is very strict. There wasn’t much money then to throw around but we grew up loving God and each other.”

  • First wife of Yul Edochie threatens to sue actress over doctored photo of Judy Austin

First wife of Yul Edochie threatens to sue actress over doctored photo of Judy Austin

The Yul Edochie polygamy saga is not ending anytime soon as the actor’s first wife, May, threatens to sue actress Sarah Martin for photoshopped images.

Sarah’s offence was sharing a photoshopped picture of Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin and Yul into a family photo of May and her four children.

Star, the son Judy bore for Yul, is also featured in the photoshopped image.

The original picture was taken during Christmas.

On Friday, May revealed via Instagram that she had directed her lawyers to file a suit against one Sarah Chukwukere for sharing the edited image of her and her children.

Expressing her anger, she wrote, “it is inconsiderate and demeaning to smear anyone, especially someone you barely knew. I’ve always had a peaceful, joyful and loving family. I worked tirelessly for several years building a beautiful home while managing several businesses successfully.”

“It is evident that some persons have deliberately and desperately tried to taint my reputation and “change the narrative” to suit their agenda. This is unacceptable to me,” she added.

Drawing the attention of culprits and others who dare to do the same to her next course of action, she said her legal team would be extremely cheerful to dine with anyone who does not cease from character assassination or defamatory publications in the court of law.

May shared the writ from the court; the lawsuit demanded a public apology from the actress and a retraction of a defamatory publication.

    Double Wahala

May also threaten to sue Sarah for a “false and injurious” statement made against her during an Instagram live session with popular media personality Daddy Freeze.

In the letter, it was stated that Sarah implied during the live chat that May “failed in her duties as a wife to Mr Yul Edochie and that such failures led Mr Yul Edochie to leave our client (May) and get married to Ms Judy Austin.”

The document explained that the statement was false as there was no event or evidence to confirm that the idea made was true.

The document also revealed that there was no form of relationship between May and Sarah to have warranted the conclusions Sarah held against her.

Stating the degree of Sarah’s offence, May’s counsel added that there was malice at play, saying that the statement was made from a place of hatred for May.

The statement inferred that Yul was estranged from May, whom he married in 2004.

They also highlighted a conspiracy between Sarah and Judy Austin to drive May out.

Contained in the list of demands are a public apology, a full retraction of the statement and an assurance that such false utterances will not be made in the future.

If the actress fails to render an apology, she will be made to pay N500m to May for damages.

    Sarah’s Reaction

Reacting to the news of the impending lawsuit, Sarah shared a meme of a sad boy thinking about his life and wrote, “500m ??? God abeg o.”

The post was accompanied by an emoji caption which illustrated her hands on her head.

In April 2022, Yul introduced his son, Star, to his second wife and colleague, Judy Muoghalu, sparking controversy.

Yul married his first wife, May, at 22, in 2004, after dating for six years.
