The Pacific storms have unleashed colossal waves along the Californian coast, leading to chaotic scenes. In Ventura and Santa Cruz, water forcefully breached the sea wall, knocking people off their feet and sweeping vehicles away.
Aptos, at the north end of Monterey Bay, faced the brunt of the storms as CCTV footage captured seawater inundating a beach restaurant.
The aftermath has prompted the closure of several beaches across the state, with additional windy weather anticipated over the weekend, further heightening concerns about coastal safety.
