When asked why his dad was doing that, Davido said, “So, I gotta go back to school.”

Nigerians criticise Davido for liking a tweet against Labour Party

Nigerians have criticized Davido on social media for what they believe to be an assault on the Obedient movement.

The musician reportedly enjoyed a video that activist Deji Adeyanju shared in which she claimed that the Labour Party was also involved in the rigging of the election.

In a video he posted over the weekend, Adeyanju alleged that some people were tampering with the results on the ballots, just like the APC and PDP.

Checking Davido’s Twitter account revealed that he had liked the message, which infuriated his supporters, many of whom are Obedient movement members.

Those who hauled him found his actions even more troubling because he had never previously concealed his allegiance to the Peoples Democratic Party

Probably sensing danger, Davido unlike the post shelve himself from any blame but did not stop angry fans from venting their spleen on him.

A tweep known as @itzbasito expressed surprise because he thought the DMW boss had stayed off social media since last year.

Ghanaian lady almost collapses in church as her boyfriend proposes to her

It appears that marriage proposals in the church are gradually becoming a trend among Christians in 2023.

Quite recently, two young people got social media talking after one Christian brother surprised his girlfriend in church and proposed to her in front of the entire congregation.

After all the positive reactions that the video received, there has been another surprise proposal in the church.

A video sighted by zionfelix.net has another Christian brother called Jesse going on his knees to ask his girlfriend, Gladys, and asking her to be his wife in front of the entire congregation.

The lady, who was obviously one of the few who didn’t know about this planned proposal was busily doing her work as the videographer of their church.

Out of the blue, the Christian brother appeared behind her, got on his knees, and touched her hand.

As soon as she saw the ring in the hand of her boyfriend, the Christian sister almost fainted in the church, and one of the gentlemen had to rush to get the camera from her hand.

Well, she accepted the proposal and took the ring. The two love birds shed some tears and eventually a warm embrace.

Davido’s uncle allegedly sacked after two months of being sworn in as Osun State governor

The Election Petition Tribunal has reportedly declared APC’s Adegboyega Oyetola as the winner of the Osun State governorship election which was held on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

The tribunal made the declaration as it annulled the victory of the PDP’s Ademola Adeleke on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Justice Tetsea Kume, while delivering a majority decision declared that INEC did not comply substantially with the Constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.

He subsequently deducted the over-voting observed from the votes scored by the candidates and declared that Oyetola won the election, having polled 314, 921, while Adeleke’s score came down to 290, 266.

‘You will pay back every dollar’ – Bullgod as he threatens legal action against Appietus

Artiste manager, Bullgod has declared ‘war’ against popular sound engineer, Appietus on social media.

Bullgod, who owns Bullhaus Entertainment, the record label under which Ghanaian artistes 5Five released some banging hits, has called out Appietus for greed and theft.

Appietus produced the beat for their monster hit ‘Muje Baya’ sometime in 2010 but he is still making money from the song at the blind side of Bullgod and the artistes involved.

The beats maker disclosed this in a discussion with Citi TV while narrating how he is cashing out thousands of dollars, after uploading some songs he once produced on digital stores.

“The big boys in Nigeria are doing business. I’m referring to Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and co. They have entered the digital world. Some white guy came to tell me about the digital world and how it started. Some Israelite, he flew all the way to Ghana. One day he said, let me put your songs there and I gave him. He asked of my dollar account and I gave him. One day, I got an alert and I had to call the bank to trace it because I was shocked. Then I started chopping the money.

“As I was chopping, I was still scared because I thought someone made a mistake. After three months, I had another alert and I asked myself who at all was sending me the money. I’m talking about thousands of dollars. One day, I was going through my email and I saw that it came from the digital guys,” he stated.

This development has angered Bullgod to an extent that he has stormed social media with threats of taking legal action against Appietus.

Bullogod who insists that Appietus is making money off his sweat and that of his artistes, has asked the latter to pay back every dime accrued from their songs so far.

“YOU WILL PAY FOR EVERY DOLLAR YOU COLLECTED OFF MY INVESTMENTS AND YOU WILL PAY WITH INTEREST. You have been feeding your family and yourself with our investments for almost 10 years by selling 5Five songs — executive produced and promoted by Bullhaus Entertainment on digital platforms globally without our permission. GET READY – TIME TO PAY UP. You will hear from our counsellors. #INDUSTRYTHEFT #focusonGod #sikanhyiraadomaseda,”

  • Davido to perform at World Cup finale, in first public appearance after death of his son

Nigerian artist Davido is set to perform at the upcoming Qatar World Cup finale taking place on Sunday, December 18. This is a highly anticipated performance as it marks his first public performance since the tragic death of his son, David Adedeji Adeleke Jr., who passed away on October 31, 2022, in an apparent drowning at the musician’s home in Lagos, Nigeria.

The loss of a child is an unimaginable tragedy, and it is no surprise that Davido took time away from the public eye to grieve and heal. However, despite the immense personal pain he must have endured during this difficult period, the World Cup finale is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he could not pass up.

As he prepares to take the stage in front of a global audience, it is clear that this performance means much more than just a showcase of his talent. It is a tribute to his late son and a testament to his resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

This performance is not just a significant event for Davido, but for Nigeria and the entire African continent as well. With the African music industry being long overshadowed by Western artists, this presents a great opportunity to show the world that African artists have just as much to offer as their Western counterparts.

In addition to bringing a global spotlight to the African music industry, Davido’s performance will be a highlight for his career. The artist has already achieved great success in Nigeria and across Africa, with multiple awards and hit songs to his name. However, this performance is likely to elevate his career to a new level and help establish him as a true global artist.

Davido’s dedication to his craft, and determination to honour his son through his music is truly inspiring. As he steps onto the stage at the World Cup finale, he will not only be representing himself and his country, but the entire African continent. It is a moment that will be remembered for years to come, and one that could solidify Davido’s place as one of the greatest artists of our generation. We can’t wait to see him shine!
