Ghanaian actor and producer Fiifi Coleman is setting ambitious goals for his career. Following the resounding success of his recent stage production, ‘The Dilemma of a Ghost,’ the renowned actor is now determined to pack stadiums with his performances.
‘The Dilemma of a Ghost’ achieved sold-out status at the National Theatre in Accra. This play, authored by the late Ghanaian playwright Ama Ata Aidoo, revolves around the narrative of a Ghanaian man who returns to Ghana from the United States with his American wife. Their cultural disparities lead to challenges in their marriage, and they must find a way to bridge the gap between their two worlds.
He was “humbled and grateful” for the positive reception to the play. According to him, he is now looking to build on the success of the play.
Fiifi Coleman has unveiled his intentions to produce a series of stage plays in the forthcoming years, with the ultimate aim of filling stadiums with his captivating performances.
“I am aiming to fill stadiums in the next two years,” he said.

Kumawood actor Samuel Dabo, popularly known as Yaw Dabo, is embarking on the construction of a sports complex for his Dabo Sports Academy.
Dabo has successfully secured a four-acre parcel of land located at Yawbarima Krom, a town in close proximity to Nyinahin within the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
Preparations for the project are already underway, with the actor having procured machinery to commence land clearing activities.
In a YouTube video, Yaw Dabo was observed at the location while an excavator was actively operating on the land. He was accompanied by a group of individuals.
Speaking about the initiative, Nana Osiaban Yaw Barima II, the chief of Yawbarima Krom, shared that he has had a longstanding friendship with Dabo. He admires the actor’s efforts in supporting children through his football academy.
The chief mentioned, When he asked for land for this project, I gladly agreed to help him…He has four acres but for now he is clearing two acres (eight plots) to start and may develop the other half later.”
This recent development follows the visit of Spanish football scout Xavi Hildago to Kumasi, where he was scouting for potential players at Yaw Dabo’s soccer academy.
The worldwide alumni network of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), recently gathered in a lively and grand celebration to mark a momentous occasion—the 95th birthday of the institution’s visionary founder, Nana J.K. Opoku-Ampomah.
This remarkable event not only commemorated his extraordinary journey but also paid homage to the transformative influence he had on the institution, its alumni, and Ghana’s educational landscape.
Nana J.K. Opoku-Ampomah’s legacy can be traced back to his humble beginnings in Bekwai, Ashanti Region, where he was born on August 28, 1928. After pursuing higher education at the prestigious University of Ghana, Legon, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration, setting the groundwork for his future endeavors.
Fueled by a fervent ambition to establish an institution that would nurture the talents of professional accountants and administrators, Nana Opoku-Ampomah took a courageous step and founded the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) in 1967. This marked the initial spark that would eventually evolve into the esteemed University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
Nana Opoku-Ampomah’s forward-thinking approach led to IPS offering courses in collaboration with renowned professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Secretaries (CIS), the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
His pioneering efforts successfully challenged the prevailing notion that university degrees held greater value than professional qualifications, ushering in a transformative change in Ghana’s education landscape.
The celebration attracted a distinguished gathering, including the Inspector General of Police and prominent alumni from various sectors across Ghana. These alumni, now holding influential positions, proudly demonstrated the far-reaching impact of Nana Opoku-Ampomah’s vision, cementing his influence on education and society at large.
One of Nana Opoku-Ampomah’s most notable achievements was the exceptional success of the first group of candidates who undertook professional examinations in 1968. Their resounding triumph not only highlighted the quality of education provided at IPS but also garnered the attention of employers, leading to a surge in demand for IPS graduates.
His vision transcended Ghana’s borders. The institution’s reputation for excellence gained international recognition, with organizations like UNESCO and the Commonwealth Secretariat sponsoring students to study at IPS. This not only underscored the global esteem of the institution but also cultivated a diverse student body, with participants hailing from countries such as Nigeria, Togo, and Dahomey.
As the global UPSA alumni community joyously celebrates Nana J.K. Opoku-Ampomah’s 95th birthday, they not only pay tribute to his visionary leadership but also salute his enduring legacy, which continues to shape the lives of countless individuals and elevate the institution he founded to new heights of excellence.
Former NPP National Chairman, Freddie Blay has responded to ex-President John Mahama’s claims that Nana Akufo-Addo appointed NPP-leaning judges.
Blay cited the NDC’s historical judicial appointments and stated that Mahama lacks the moral authority to accuse Akufo-Addo. Mahama had suggested appointing NDC-aligned judges if elected in 2024.
Blay pointed out that NDC members have previously moved into judicial roles, making Mahama’s allegations unfounded. He emphasized that he has been active in politics for a significant period.
I was in parliament when somebody who was a member of parliament for the NDC after he was butchered out of parliament, he applied and he joined the judiciary, he is still a member of the NDC,” he said.
The former National Chairman also cited examples of judges he believes hold affiliations with the NDC, suggesting that the practice is not unique to the NPP.“There is a Dormaa High Court judge, solidly, he speaks for the NDC.
All his utterances indicate that he supports the NDC.“That is not all, I knew a man who is now on retirement.
I don’t want to mention names here,” he stated. For him, there are many Ghanaians with strong moral standing who have sought positions within the judiciary.“I am saying that there are quite a number of individuals, Ghanaians, who have indicated that they want to enter the bar.
They are not criminals, they are people of integrity based on which they have been promoted to the bench,” he added.
The President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the meager allowance he receives as the leader of the country’s umbrella organization for chiefs. Ogyeahoho Gyebi II, who also serves as the Chief of Sefwi Anwiaso in the Western North Region, revealed that the government pays him a paltry sum of GHS 300.00 as an allowance.
In an interview with Joy FM, he pointed out that this inadequate remuneration for the House’s employees has impeded the institution’s ability to effectively carry out its responsibilities. The National House of Chiefs holds the responsibility of exercising appellate jurisdiction in cases or matters related to chieftaincy that have already been determined by the Regional House of Chiefs in their respective regions. Additionally, under Article 273(5) of the 1992 Constitution, the House possesses original jurisdiction in specific chieftaincy cases or matters.
Ogyeahoho Gyebi II further disclosed that even his hotels receive the same GHS 300.00 allowance when he travels. He expressed his frustration with the treatment meted out by the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs to the leadership of the House, comparing it to how secondary school children are treated. He emphasized that the long-standing issue of low remuneration for House workers urgently needs to be addressed.
According to him, these challenges, are hindering the institution from fulfilling its mandate effectively.
The Head of Neurology and Child Service at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Prof. Eben Badoe, has revealed that approximately 22,000 individuals in the country are living with cerebral palsy.
“In Ghana, we don’t have accurate statistics but conservative estimates would put it at maybe one with every 300 live births. So that is what we know.
If we extend it then we could probably say that in Ghana we have a population of about 22,000 with cerebral palsy living with us,” he said.
Prof. Badoe was speaking at a Cerebral Palsy Awareness Conference in Accra last Wednesday.
The event, themed “Lending a Helping Hand,” was organized by the Afrakoma Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to raising awareness about various issues, including cerebral palsy.
Prof. Badoe discussed the causes of cerebral palsy during the event, highlighting jaundice as a contributing factor that needs careful consideration. He also emphasized that children born prematurely face a significantly higher risk of developing cerebral palsy. In essence, premature birth is a substantial risk factor for the condition.
Cerebral palsy, he said, was one of the most common causes of physical disability in the modern world, saying that the rate of the problem had risen in spite of the falling prenatal and neonatal mortality rates worldwide.
Deputy Minister of Health, Tina Mensah, commended the Afrakoma Foundation for its efforts in raising awareness about cerebral palsy and for extending assistance to those affected by the condition.
She emphasized that children dealing with cerebral palsy require ongoing support and care. Minister Mensah also stressed the ministry’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 by 2030, which focuses on universal health coverage. To achieve this goal, the ministry is dedicated to collaborating with all stakeholders, enhancing healthcare systems, and creating an enabling environment to ensure that children diagnosed with cerebral palsy receive high-quality healthcare services from competent healthcare professionals without any obstacles.
Amani-Aminah Iddrisu, the Founder of the Afrakoma Foundation, urged the government to consider subsidizing healthcare costs for individuals living with cerebral palsy. Drawing from her experience of working at a center that provides care for children affected by the condition, she highlighted the substantial expenses associated with meeting the healthcare requirements of these children. Consequently, she emphasized the necessity for government support in the form of subsidies to alleviate the financial burden on affected families and caregivers.
“I have been working with a cerebral palsy centre here in Ghana ….
And I have been working with them for three years now.
The biggest issue that we face at that centre is that the cost of health care is very expensive even though it is a public health care not to talk of the private,” she said.
Ghanaian comedic actor Ebenezer Akwesi Antwi, popularly known as Dr. Likee or Ras Nene, has earned admiration from Ghanaians with his latest program on DSTV.
Ras Nene’s fresh comedy talk show, titled “Kasa No Yɛ More,” is now airing on the Akwaaba Magic channel on DSTV.
Many have been quick to acknowledge his remarkable journey, witnessing his evolution from playing minor roles in Kumawood movies to managing a successful YouTube channel and hosting a show on an international platform.
Ras Nene has shared that he was once a member of one of the most notorious gangs in his hometown, Tafo, located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He recalled how he stumbled into the movie industry purely by accident when he visited a film set to see a friend. It was there that the director noticed him and offered him the role of a gangster, marking his unexpected entry into the world of movies.
The Dean of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso has clarified that he is more concerned about other issues than the likelihood of Ghana experiencing a military coup.
He pointed out that Ghana seems to be a safe haven, even amid the numerous coup attempts in the surrounding region. This stability is attributed to the effective functioning of institutions.
Dr. Antwi-Danso emphasized that despite this stability, Ghana should remain vigilant about other internal security challenges, such as ungoverned areas.
“We are only safe because there is a semblance of the ballot to the next ballot. There is also a semblance of participation because of the way we do things; there’s a semblance of institutional presence—institutions of state are working in Ghana. These are some of the things that are saving Ghana and making Ghana safe from coups.
In an interview with Ghanaweb, he explained “But there are several other things we need to watch out for: incessant feuds like tribal feuds and wars around us; we should be very careful about that. And again, ungoverned spaces – spaces where government is not felt. Dollar Power is one such place. Bawku and other areas where there are feuds, I fear that as insecurity on the state, rather than coups,”
Regarding the state of security in Ghana amidst recent coups in Africa, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso emphasized the need for careful monitoring of Bawku.
He pointed out that, similar to what transpired in Mali, there is a risk that any of the conflicting factions in Bawku could seek support from jihadist groups in the region if not properly managed.
This underscores the importance of addressing the security situation in Bawku to prevent potential destabilization.
This, he added, would not augur well for Ghana and should be carefully looked at since it can be worse than a coup d’état.
“Because, the Bawku situation, for example, can invite terrorists. In fact, Mali started off this way, with internecine feuds among the tribes… and they invited Al Qaeda, then later on, other groups also invited ISIS and they have formed what is called ISWAP (ISIS in West African Province).
“So, if we don’t take care, one of the Bawku factions can invite any of the jihadists to come and help them. I’m more afraid about these than a coup in Ghana,” he added.
A 20-year-old unemployed individual identified as Njandi has received a six-month prison sentence from the Nkwanta South District Court in the Oti Region for stealing a Techno mobile phone.
Detective Inspector Bright Nkansah, the prosecuting officer in the case, disclosed to the court that Tadir Njandi, aged 21, had stolen the phone from a residence in Pibilla, a farming community situated in Nkwanta North of the Oti Region. The phone in question was valued at GHC1,100.
Following the theft, Njandi went into hiding, However, the victim promptly reported the incident to fellow residents, leading to Njandi’s apprehension by members of the community. He was subsequently handed over to the police for legal action.
Njandi appeared before the Nkwanta Magistrate Court, facing charges of theft. He entered a guilty plea to the offense. In response, the presiding judge, Joseph Annang Okorokpa, handed down a sentence based on the defendant’s own admission of guilt.
During the delivery of the verdict, Judge Okorokpa emphasized that this sentencing was intended to send a clear message to potential thieves in the region. He highlighted that it serves as a robust deterrent aimed at safeguarding the community from such criminal activities in the future.
Ghanaian rapper and singer, widely recognized as M.anifest, expresses his strong disapproval of the unnecessary rivalry between the Ghanaian and Nigerian music industries.
He believes that African artists share a collective continental objective, which is to promote their music on a global scale.
“We have a pan-African movement moving now and that’s very important, we’re a very integral part of a pan-African movement that is going global and to see ourselves in competition with other people who are part of us is needless,” he said in an interview with JoyNews’ Becky.
M.anifest shared these sentiments while attending a private listening session for Nigerian singer Patoranking’s ‘World Best’ album on September 3, 2023.
“I despise the comparisons, I will say it again, I despise the comparison because we are in the same boat,” the rapper said.
The ‘god MC’ encouraged his fellow artists to be united and figure out how to promote and expand the industry creatively and commercially over shores instead of competing among one another.
“At the end of the day let’s just put in work,” he said.
The government of Eritrea said that people from other countries pretended to be Eritreans who oppose the government during a fight in the city of Tel Aviv in Israel on Saturday.
About 140 people got hurt when the police tried to break up a fight between people who support and people who are against the Eritrean government.
It started when activists requested Israeli authorities to cancel an event planned by Eritrea’s embassy.
The embassy didn’t mention any specific groups, but an Eritrean person on social media and a media outlet that supports the government claimed that ethnic Tigrayan Ethiopians are to blame.
The Center for Democratic Development (CDD) has expressed concern over former President John Mahama’s statement about appointing National Democratic Congress (NDC) lawyers to the judiciary, considering it a threat to Ghana’s democracy.
Paul Aborampah Mensah, the Senior Programs Officer at CDD-Ghana, conveyed these concerns during an interview on Morning Starr with Francis Abban on September 4, 2023. He emphasized that such comments from former leaders would not contribute positively to the constitutional system.
Mensah further suggested that when politicians, especially those who have held the highest office in the country, make such statements, they might be trying to share their past experiences and the structural arrangements during their tenure.”
Background
Former President John Mahama has asserted that President Akufo-Addo’s government has strategically appointed judges within the Ghanaian courts to evade accountability once their term in office concludes. He made these remarks during the concluding session of the 3rd Lawyers Conference, organized by the NDC Lawyers Association, held in Akosombo, Eastern region.
Mahama disclosed that some of these lawyers President Akufo-Addo has leapfrogged on the bench are known political persons.“Our lawyers, some of you must be prepared to go unto the bench, I know that some of you have very lucrative legal practices you will not want to leave and go onto the bench.
Over 80, nearly a hundred, and still counting. “He’s populated the judiciary, and it’s clear they’ve done so to evade accountability once they exit office. Various individuals with a well-known partisan background, including former party executives in the legal field, have been fast-tracked into the Superior courts and other significant positions.”
Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko and founder of the Nineteen57 Fashion (KOD), has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to include local creatives on international trips to boost Ghana’s arts on the global stage.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie, he cited an example from the Global Citizen Festival in 2018, held in South Africa, where the President attended without any Ghanaian performers.
KOD suggested that Nana Akufo-Addo should have insisted on having a Ghanaian artist perform at the event to showcase Ghana’s talent internationally.
“I was in South Africa when we had the first Global Citizen Festival [in Africa]. I was angry. I was so angry. Nana Akufo-Addo was one of the few Presidents on the platform. We didn’t have a single Ghanaian musician. I was like ‘hello who is opening the doors for us?’
This is when we have to be very intentional about what we do. When Kamala Harris came to Ghana he came with Spike Lee. Was he just here to document her trip to Ghana?” he said.
KOD also recalled an instance when American Idol winner Jordin Sparks visited Ghana alongside former U.S. President George W. Bush in 2008. During President Bush’s visit to the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Accra on February 20, 2008, Jordin Sparks performed the U.S. National Anthem before his speech.
In addition to this, there’s a historical account of Ghana’s first President traveling with Ghanaian musical bands during his foreign trips. Chief Moomen, a poet and playwright, supported KOD’s suggestion, highlighting that it’s a commendable idea to have poets, musicians, or other creatives accompany the President on international journeys.
Chief Moomen also proposed that the President could actively advocate for performances by Ghanaian artists during his diplomatic visits. These suggestions were made in the context of a discussion on strategies to enhance the visibility of Ghanaian arts on the global stage.
The old leader of the far-right Proud Boys group will be sentenced on Tuesday for what he did during the US Capitol riot.
Henry “Enrique” Tarrio, who is 39 years old, has been found guilty of seditious conspiracy and other crimes.
Tarrio was not in Washington when the riot happened on January 6, 2021. He had been arrested and told to leave the city before the chaos started.
But instead, he observed from a hotel room in a nearby city called Baltimore.
After the US presidential election in November 2020, Tarrio and other members of the Proud Boys wrote several scary messages on the internet. They were giving a warning that there might be violence and chaos if Donald Trump stopped being the president.
In that month, Tarrio responded to a post by Joe Biden online, saying: “YOU should remember that the American people are fighting against YOU. ” Without Trump, there will be no peace. No mercy or leniency given.
The Proud Boys and other groups gathered in Washington DC on 12 December 2020 to show their support for Mr. They fought against people who oppose fascism and joined protesters against them, and one member of the Proud Boys group got stabbed. On that day, Tarrio set fire to a Black Lives Matter banner that he took from a church where African-Americans go.
When he tried to go back to the main city in the beginning of January, he was taken into custody for burning a banner. He was discovered with a large ammunition magazine that is against the law in the city. He was let out of jail for a temporary time and told to go away from Washington.
On January 6th, during the riot, he wrote on the internet: “Once I’m done watching this, I’ll talk about my arrest. ” Right now, I am having a good time watching the show. Do what needs to be done. He told the people in the riot not to go away.
The prosecutors want the person to go to prison for 33 years.
Seditious conspiracy is a law that is rarely used, which means it is not often enforced. This law says that it is illegal to use force to stop or make it difficult for any law of the United States to be followed. In May, Tarrio was found guilty of obstructing and plotting against others, causing unrest and damaging government property.
During the trial of Tarrio and four other Proud Boys, prosecutors presented a lot of text messages, social media posts, and videos as proof of a planned scheme to hinder the certification of the election outcome.
The lawyers for the defendants said that the group was not well-organized, mostly peaceful, and there was no plan to attack the building.
Who are the Proud Boys?
The group was started in New York City in 2016 by Gavin McInnes, who used to work at Vice but then became a right-wing commentator and podcaster.
The Proud Boys say they are a group of men who like to drink together or a “pro-Western brotherhood organization”.
But they were deeply involved in extreme right-wing politics from the beginning, and gained a reputation for frequently getting into fights with left-wing activists known as antifa in various cities in the US.
Their popularity increased after they were talked about in a conversation about political violence during a debate for the president in September 2020.
“Proud Boys, step back and be ready,” Mr. Trump said at that moment. “I’ll explain to you, someone needs to take action against antifa and the left because this is not just a problem caused by right-wing individuals. ”
Who else has been punished by the court?
Last week, four more Proud Boys were given punishments for what they did during the Capitol riot.
The ex-US Marines, Dominic Pezzola and Zachary Rehl, received prison sentences of 10 and 15 years, in that order.
Joe Biggs, a former soldier, who led a group called Proud Boys to the US Capitol, has been given a prison sentence of 17 years. Another leader of Proud Boys named Ethan Nordean, from Washington state, has been given a prison sentence of 18 years.
The sentences given to the Capitol rioters are some of the longest.
On Friday, Pezzola showed regret for what he did during his court session. After Pezzola was given his prison sentence and the judge left, he raised his hand and yelled, “Trump won. ”
Nordean told the court: “I’m sorry for not being a good leader that day. ”
“He said sorry to anyone I have hurt either directly or indirectly. ” He didn’t say much when he was given his punishment.
Some people who took part in the Capitol riot are no longer showing regret for their actions. This shows that the discussion and arguments about what happened that day have become highly political. Trump said that if he becomes president in 2024, he will forgive or excuse many or all of the people causing chaos.
The hearing on Tuesday is the final one for important leaders from the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers militias who are being sentenced.
Over 1,100 people have been arrested for their involvement in the Capitol riot. Out of these, 630 people have admitted their guilt, and more than 110 people have been convicted. Around 500 people have been given either prison terms or have to stay at home as punishment.
The rioters have been accused of different things, like going into places they weren’t supposed to, damaging government things, hurting people, and planning together. Approximately 200 people admitted they are guilty of serious crimes.
The investigation is still going on – the FBI is still trying to find 14 people who were recorded on video attacking police officers or members of the media during the riot.
Agyemang explained that the Ghana Tourism Authority made significant financial investments to ensure the event proceeded as scheduled. Additionally, he mentioned that there were various controversies surrounding the festival that required resolution, including discussions with the leaders of different communities to establish a suitable route for the celebration.
During an interview with Hitz FM on Monday, September 4, 2023, Akwasi Agyemang detailed the essential role played by the Ghana Tourism Authority in overcoming the substantial challenges and ensuring the Chalewote festival was not canceled.
“If you talk to the organizers of Chale Wote [festival], if we [Ghana Tourism Authority] hadn’t stepped in this year, it would not happen,” he said. “Yeah, it wouldn’t have happened because there were serious issues from moving the tent from Jamestown, the new area.
“You needed so many means because that place is a security zone. And so I don’t want to talk about that on air. You are there.
“We provided a lot of financial support to make sure that it took off. But given that there were some controversies around the movement, I mean, there was another festival also happening at Jamestown at the same time, the Womba Arts Festival.
“So it became a little bit of an issue. So we’ve engaged with both the organizers of Womba and the organizers of Chale Wote,” he said.
The CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority added that “we came in at the last minute to make sure that we salvage the situation. And I believe that if you look at the numbers that he generated, even though we didn’t have the sort of prior promotion, thankfully multimedia came in at the last minute and at least gave it some push.”
Akwasi Agyemang urged the public to support these celebrations in order to aid in showcasing the nation’s culture to the rest of the world.
“Let’s make sure that we are able to promote because as you said, rightly, a lot of people come we get the data. A lot of people come to Ghana because of this street art festival. And we shouldn’t kill it on the experience of anything.
“If there are disagreements, which there were between organizers and the community in Jamestown, let’s find a way to deal with them. We should be able to make things work in terms of the marketing strategies that we have deployed,” he added.
Poor Oral Hygiene: The most common cause of bad breath is inadequate oral hygiene. When food particles and bacteria build up in the mouth, they can lead to unpleasant odors. This can be addressed through regular brushing, flossing, and tongue cleaning.
Dietary Choices: Certain foods, such as garlic, onions, and spicy foods, can contribute to bad breath. These foods release sulfur compounds when digested, which can linger in the mouth and cause odor. Reducing the consumption of these foods can help.
Dry Mouth (Xerostomia): Saliva plays a crucial role in cleaning the mouth and neutralizing acids produced by bacteria. Dry mouth can result from various factors, including medications, medical conditions, or dehydration. Drinking more water, using sugar-free gum or lozenges, and addressing underlying causes can alleviate dry mouth.
Gum Disease and Dental Problems: Conditions like gum disease, tooth decay, and oral infections can lead to bad breath. Regular dental check-ups and treatments for these issues can help eliminate the underlying causes of bad breath.
Systemic Health Conditions: Bad breath can sometimes be a symptom of underlying health conditions, such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, or metabolic diseases like diabetes. Treating these conditions can resolve the issue of bad breath.
Solutions for Bad Breath:
Maintain Good Oral Hygiene: Brush your teeth at least twice a day, floss daily, and use an antimicrobial mouthwash to help kill bacteria. Don’t forget to clean your tongue, as bacteria can accumulate there.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking water helps keep your mouth moist and promotes saliva production, which helps wash away bacteria and odors.
Watch Your Diet: Reduce the consumption of odorous foods like garlic and onions. Opt for sugar-free gum or mints to mask temporary bad breath caused by food.
Regular Dental Check-ups: Visit your dentist for regular cleanings and check-ups to address any dental issues that may be contributing to bad breath.
Manage Underlying Health Conditions: If bad breath persists despite good oral hygiene, consult a healthcare professional to rule out underlying medical conditions and receive appropriate treatment.
Quit Smoking and Limit Alcohol: Smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can contribute to bad breath. Quitting smoking and moderating alcohol intake can help improve oral and overall health.
Use Sugar-Free Gum or Lozenges: Chewing sugar-free gum or sucking on sugar-free lozenges can stimulate saliva production and temporarily mask bad breath.
Remember that persistent bad breath may indicate an underlying problem, so it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional or dentist if the issue continues despite following good oral hygiene practices and making lifestyle changes.
Ghana’s Dancehall sensation, Shatta Wale, has joined the ongoing discussions concerning his presence on the United Showbiz program broadcasted on UTV.
This particular show assembles industry insiders such as Mr. Logic, Ola Michael, and Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo to analyze the latest developments in the Ghanaian entertainment scene. However, it’s well-known that tensions have arisen between Shatta Wale and these panelists in the past.
One significant clash traces back to 2021 when Shatta Wale took offense to remarks made by panelist Arnold, who pointed out certain inconsistencies. This on-air dispute made headlines.
More recently, in August 2023, the show once again became a topic of controversy when Ola Michael, another panelist, suggested that Shatta Wale might not qualify for a diplomatic passport due to his behavior. This prompted Shatta Wale to respond with a diss track and a series of videos in which he did not mince words.
In return, Shatta Wale hasn’t shied away from criticizing his detractors, especially the United Showbiz panelists, branding them as “pained” and “poor” among other choice words.
In a more recent development, following another episode of criticism directed at him during the latest broadcast of the show on September 3, Shatta Wale took to Twitter on September 5.
In a humorous tone, he suggested that anyone seeking to gain popularity should simply appear on UTV and offer critiques of him.
The trial for the leaders of the protest called Freedom Convoy, which caused a long traffic jam in Canada‘s capital for several weeks in 2022, will start on Tuesday. cn Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are accused of behaving badly and not cooperating with the police.
Experts believe that the result of the trial could have a significant impact outside of the legal system.
Mr Lich and Mr. Barber have been accused of carrying out mischief. In Canada, mischief is when someone intentionally destroys, damages, obstructs, or interferes with property. They will need to defend themselves against this charge.
According to Joao Velloso, a law professor at the University of Ottawa, the case is normal from a legal perspective.
However, he expects a lot of attention because the event is connected to the Freedom Convoy protests and the political tensions on topics such as vaccine mandates and freedom of assembly.
The way people see the result of the case will vary depending on their opinions on the issues and how much they trust the justice system.
“The case is more important than the law. ”
The protests in February 2022 started because the government required truck drivers to get vaccinated before crossing the border between the US and Canada.
Groups of about 400 large trucks and other vehicles went to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, and stopped traffic around the parliament buildings for three weeks.
City officials called it a “occupation”.
Protests occurred, blocking an important border crossing between the US and Canada near Detroit. This made the White House angry and caused problems with the transportation of goods. Some borders in Alberta and Manitoba were closed off.
The protests got noticed around the world and encouraged other demonstrations in different countries.
They ended after Mr. Trudeau used the Emergencies Act, which is the first time the Canadian law has been used for this purpose. This allowed the police to remove people from the streets and the government to stop protests and block the bank accounts of protesters.
Miss Lich and Mr. Barber were caught by the police not long after.
Paul Daly, who is an expert in rules and regulations at the University of Ottawa, said a very important question is how much the two people were responsible for causing problems for the people of Ottawa.
Many people said that during the protest, there was too much loud noise, things were always being disturbed, and some people were being bothered. MrDaly said that the trial is a conflict between the rights of convoy organizers to speak freely and associate freely, and the public’s interest in maintaining livable city streets for residents.
Lawrence Greenspon, who is Ms Lich’s lawyer, said in a statement to the BBC that “we don’t think this will be the trial about the Freedom Convoy. ”
The main question is whether the actions of two people who planned a peaceful protest should be considered a crime.
However, at a recent book event, Ms. Lich expressed her belief that the trial’s result will establish a rule for other protestors who are also waiting for their trials.
She said in July, “I won’t give up easily and we will fight hard. ”
The lawyers who work for the government said that if Ms. Lich is proven to be guilty, she might have to go to prison for as long as 10 years.
However, during a court hearing in July to determine bail, a judge in Ontario stated that because of this “very unusual case,” it is unclear how much responsibility she will have for the range of alleged bad actions done by different individuals in a crowd of thousands over several weeks.
Both Ms Lich and Ms Barber, along with other organizers, are being sued for C$300m by Ottawa residents because of the disruptions caused in the city.
Ms Lich and Mr Barber’s trial will last for 13 days, and after that, there will be six more days for the trial in October.
Pat King, who is also helping to organize the protests, will have a trial that is different from the one happening in November.
Whenever the term “BHIM” is mentioned, it’s highly likely that the first name that comes to mind is Stonebwoy.

But have you ever wondered what BHIM stands for?
The dancehall sensation has recently illuminated the origins and meaning behind the name ‘BHIM,’ which has become intricately intertwined with his musical journey.
‘BHIM’ stands as an acronym for “Bless His Imperial Majesty.”
According to Stonebwoy, ‘BHIM’ serves as an invigorating and empowering term that fuels his determination to chase after his dreams. It carries a profound significance, serving as a source of motivation and inspiration in his artistic journey.
“When hashtags gained popularity, they used to begin with #Team Drake and similar phrases, but I didn’t want to be associated with just a team. I see myself as a nation. So, people naturally started calling me BHIM.
“The sound of it was captivating because it’s already a resonating sound in my songs. Fans eagerly anticipate the ‘BHIM’ part so they can join in singing,” he said.

Greece is experiencing heavy rain that has caused floods in homes, businesses, and roads. The extreme weather caused a wall to collapse, resulting in at least one person dying.
In the past day, some areas have received a lot of rain due to a strong storm passing through. This has caused flash floods, which can be very dangerous.
Greece’s leader, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, says they are experiencing very bad weather and wants people to listen to the authorities.
The rainfall is very heavy in central Greece and on the island of Evia and the Sporades Islands.
A man was killed on Tuesday when a wall fell on him in a village called Agios Georgios, near the city of Volos. The Greek fire service reported this.
Another man is missing because his car was carried away on the edges of Volos, as reported by the fire service to CNN.
The police in Volos and nearby areas, and also on Skiathos island, have prohibited traffic movement. Part of the hospital in Volos has been flooded.
The storm named Daniel by meteorologists in southeast Europe is moving slowly across the country towards the southwest.
The middle part of the storm is moving towards the Mediterranean Sea, but it will still cause a lot of rain and flooding in Greece and nearby islands in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Warnings for heavy rain and thunderstorms have been posted for several provinces, specifically the coastlines in the east. The thunderstorms will happen regularly until Wednesday.
When the storm moves into the Mediterranean Sea, it might become similar to a tropical storm.
Medicanes are like tropical storms and hurricanes in the Atlantic or typhoons in the Pacific, and they can create dangerous situations in the Mediterranean Sea and coastal countries.
The storm might get stronger in the next day or two because the temperature of the sea is warm, around 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, in the eastern Mediterranean.
The storm is arriving just when Greece is finally getting the wildfires under control after they caused a lot of damage in the country for several weeks.
Scientists say that the very bad weather in Greece this summer, like floods, fires, and extreme heat, will happen more often and get worse if people keep burning fossil fuels that warm the planet.
Authorities said his family’s car got pulled into a river, and they can’t find his dad.
According to reports in Spanish media, a 10-year-old was receiving treatment for hypothermia.
However according to the police, heavy rain caused flooding in central Spain, leading to the deaths of three people and three others remain missing.
In the areas that were most affected near Madrid, bridges were destroyed and the roads became flooded with muddy water.
In a countryside area, the family of the boy was trying to get away from the floods. Unfortunately, their car was pulled into the river, as stated by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the leader of the Madrid region.
“He said the boy who didn’t have much money stayed in a tree all night. ”
The police in Spain called the civil guard said they found the boy’s mother and sister, but the rescue workers are still searching for his father in a place called Aldea de Fresno.
Rescuers are still looking for people who were washed away by the floods.
The father was one of three people who were taken away by the strong rain. Rescuers are still searching for them, according to the civil guard.
It also said that three people died because of the storm in the Toledo area, which is southwest of Madrid.
The Spanish weather service (Aemet) said that it measured very heavy rain of 9cm (3. 5in) in the area on Sunday.
On Tuesday, people worked to clean up the mud and debris that was left after the floods.
The governments of Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha have requested the national government to declare the areas that were affected as “catastrophe zones”. This declaration would allow the Spanish government to provide funds to repair the damaged buildings in these areas.
People who live in a certain area were told about a storm through a text message and loud noise on Sunday. This was the first time that the people in charge had used this method to warn them.
The officials said that when people listened to advice to stay at home and not use their vehicles, it made it easier for rescue services to handle the many calls they received.
Spain, as well as other parts of Southern Europe, has been very hot this summer.
Climate experts have cautioned that as the Earth gets warmer, more water will turn into vapor in the summer, causing stronger storms.

A video that was posted on social media and examined by BBC Verify reveals a British tank that is in very poor condition.
A source from the military confirmed to BBC that the video shows a tank called Challenger 2 and that everyone inside the tank survived.
According to a former British tank commander named Hamish de Bretton Gordon, this is also the first time the tank has been attacked by the enemy.
The video shows smoke coming out of a vehicle. Ukrainian officials say that their forces have broken through the first line of defense of Russia in southern Ukraine.
BBC Verify has not given exact information about where or when the incident happened.
However, the video matches other footage that shows Ukrainian forces present in the area near the village of Robotyne, which was recently recaptured, located in the southeast of the country.
Earlier this year, Britain said it would send 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. Tanks were given to Ukrainian tank drivers after they received training in March.
Popular Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, widely known as Medikal, has disclosed that the extravagant lifestyle he often displays on social media is primarily a persona and should not be taken at face value.
During a live Twitter spaces discussion with Cookie Tee, the “Too Risky” artist was asked about the wealth, cars, and houses he showcases on his social media accounts. Medikal clarified that these are props used to enhance his brand and should not be perceived as a true reflection of his financial status.
Drawing a comparison to Hollywood movies, he emphasized that he has never claimed ownership of items featured on social media that he does not actually possess. He also noted that his fans are well aware of this aspect of his online presence.
“It’s all props, it’s like the Rambo movie, you see him with guns, shooting and killing, but in real life, he’s in The Bahamas chilling, that’s how it is. So what you see on social media is an illusion. It’s just my brand. I don’t have anything. My fans know that whatever I don’t own, I won’t claim as my own. I’m not rich, I’m trying to survive, I’m a hustler just like everyone else,” he disclosed.
Two high-ranking officials from an oil company in Sweden are now facing a trial in Stockholm. They are being accused of being involved in war crimes that were said to have been carried out by the Sudanese government over twenty years ago.
Ian Lundin was the boss of his family’s company, Lundin Oil, and Alex Schneiter was his second-in-command in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
They say that they requested the Sudanese government to protect a part of the country in South Sudan where they wanted to work. This resulted in local people being forced out of their villages by setting them on fire and shooting some of them.
South Sudan broke away from Sudan in 2011 and got control of most of the oil fields.
Both Mr Lundin and Mr Schneiter say they didn’t do what they’re being accused of, and they think that the prosecution doesn’t have enough proof to support their case.
According to the AFP news agency, the trial is going to be the largest ever in Sweden and comes after a long investigation that resulted in an 80,000-page report.
Closing arguments are set to happen in February 2026, according to the report.

Sara Sharif‘s grandfather said that her father stated her death was an accident. Sara was 10 years old at the time.
Muhammad Sharif, Urfan Sharif’s dad, spoke to the BBC and said he saw his son when he came to Pakistan.
Muhammad said it was an accident, and Urfan didn’t tell him how it happened. Urfan left the UK because he was scared.
After Sara passed away, tests were done on her and they found she had many serious injuries.
The police in Pakistan have been searching for Urfan, his partner, and his brother for many weeks, but they have not been able to locate them. The three family members went to Pakistan from the UK on August 9th. Sara’s body was found in Woking, Surrey the next day.
Muhammad told the BBC that he saw his son in Pakistan when Urfan visited Jhelum, the city where Muhammad grew up and where most of his family still resides.
Muhammad said Urfan came to Pakistan because he was scared, even though his death was an accident.
“His daughter passed away, and when you experience such intense pain, it becomes difficult to think clearly. ”
When Sharif was asked how he felt about his son going to Pakistan, he said, “All I can say is that they should have dealt with the problem. ” They should have stayed where they were and dealt with it instead of coming to Pakistan.
He said, “Eventually, they will return to the UK and deal with their situation. ”
“I am very sad because my granddaughter died. ” The sadness will be with me forever.
He mentioned that she had been to Pakistan two times. She was very beautiful in every aspect. You can’t just focus on one thing, she was a very nice granddaughter.
He had a special message for his son, Urfan, his partner Beinash Batool, and his brother Faisal Malik. They departed from the UK on August 9th. The police want to talk to all three of them about the murder investigation.
No matter where they are, they can hear this. I think they should speak up, explain their side, whatever it may be. They need to respond to the questions. I do not believe they should continue to hide.
The police in Pakistan believe that the family arrived at Islamabad international airport on August 10th. They then traveled to the city of Jhelum and stayed there for a few days. They made a short stop in the village of Domeli and left on August 13th.
Muhammad says that he hasn’t talked to Urfan recently. The police told the BBC that at first, the family said Urfan had not visited them at all. Muhammad said it wasn’t right and he never denied seeing his son in the UK.
The police are looking for Sara’s father, Urfan Sharif, his partner Beinash Batool and his brother Faisal Malik.
Urfan’s family in Pakistan has sued the Jhelum police two times because they believe that they wrongly arrested some of Urfan’s brothers and brothers-in-law. The police said they won’t arrest them anymore. The police said in court on Tuesday that they are not keeping them. The judge ordered the police to write a report within two weeks to explain what happened.
Muhammad Sharif told us that we have encountered many issues in the past three weeks. Some of my children are trying to escape or hide from something, while others are being taken care of by the police. People are not talking to us because they are afraid of the police.

Achieving the best orgasm for a woman involves both physical and emotional factors. Here are some tips to help:
Communication: Open and honest communication is key. Ask your partner what she likes and dislikes, and encourage her to do the same. This will create a comfortable environment for exploring each other’s desires.
Foreplay: Spend time on foreplay. Kissing, touching, and oral sex can help build anticipation and increase arousal.
Relaxation: Ensure a relaxed atmosphere. Stress and anxiety can hinder the ability to orgasm. Create a comfortable environment, free from distractions.
Clitoral Stimulation: The clitoris is often the most sensitive part of a woman’s body. Experiment with different techniques, speeds, and pressures to find what works best for her.
Variety: Change things up. Different positions and sensations can provide new and exciting experiences.
Sensate Focus: Pay attention to her body’s responses. Listen to her cues and adjust your actions accordingly.
Kegel Exercises: Encourage your partner to practice Kegel exercises to strengthen pelvic muscles, which can lead to more intense orgasms.
Emotional Connection: Establish a strong emotional connection. Feeling loved, secure, and emotionally connected can enhance sexual experiences.
Breathing: Encourage deep and rhythmic breathing. This can help build sexual tension and intensify orgasms.
Experimentation: Be open to trying new things. Everyone is different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
Toys: Incorporating sex toys can add variety and enhance pleasure for both partners.
Extended Foreplay: Extend foreplay to increase anticipation and arousal. Engage in activities like sensual massages or taking a bath together.
Practice Edging: Edging involves delaying orgasm to build intensity. This can result in a more powerful climax when it finally occurs.
Mutual Masturbation: Watching each other masturbate can be incredibly erotic and can provide insight into what turns each other on.
Aftercare: After an orgasm, provide emotional support and tenderness. This can foster intimacy and make the experience more satisfying.
Remember that every woman is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. The key is to be attentive, open, and responsive to your partner’s needs and desires. Communication and experimentation are essential for achieving the best orgasms ever.
Charlie Dior, a well-known Ghanaian fashion critic, has openly expressed his lack of belief in the Bible, despite being a Christian who maintains faith in the existence of God.
He explained that his skepticism towards the Bible arises from his view that the scriptures contain stories written by individuals with altered facts and various adjustments, which has led to his disbelief in the holy book.
Charlie Dior clarified that while he believes in the existence of God Almighty, he does not share the same belief in Jesus Christ or the Bible, as he considers God to be the supreme being, transcending all other entities.
During an interview with the renowned Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix, Charlie Dior also mentioned that he does not actively engage in religious activities and does not identify strongly with any particular religious denomination.
“I [Charlie Dior] don’t consider religion. For example in Christianity, the bible has been translated so many times with some facts twisted and all sorts of things so don’t I really consider religion?
“I am not a church person who likes going to church, singing, listening to the preacher, and all of that but I believe in God. I believe there is a higher being. I believe in energies but not the bible,” Charlie Dior stated.
He was asked whether he believes in the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, he replied, “On the [crucifixion of Jesus Christ] I believe they are stories somebody wrote,” he said.
Charlie Dior is well-known for his role as a fashion critic who offers critiques and assessments of celebrities’ attire and their overall presentation at public events. His commentary often focuses on the fashion choices, styling, and overall appearance of public figures during various occasions.
Charlie Dior, a well-known Ghanaian fashion critic, has refuted allegations that he engaged in body-shaming when he criticized TV personality Xandy Kamel for her choice of attire during a program.
Xandy Kamel, feeling upset by Charlie Dior’s comments about her outfit, reportedly expressed her anger by cursing him, as reported by Zionfelix.com.
These comments from Charlie Dior came in the wake of his outspoken critique of the clothing choices of Ghanaian celebrities at events. He specifically mentioned that Xandy Kamel’s attire at a program made her appear like a ‘flower pot.’
Charlie Dior clarified that his intention was never to body-shame Xandy Kamel but rather to critique her outfit without attacking her personal character in an interview with Zionfelix.
Charlie Dior emphasised that he did not engage in body-shaming and that his comments were solely directed at the attire worn by Xandy Kamel.
“She [Xandy Kamel] kept saying in every interview that I was body-shaming her. Please watch the fashion review, I will never body-shame her, she is a beautiful lady. I would never do that because I love thick girls. I would never ever disrespect her body,” he explained.
Charlie Dior reiterated that there was no malice in his review of Xandy Kamel’s attire as he focused more on her attire rather than her personality.
“I was talking about the outfit she was wearing, a skinny person can wear it and will still look like a flower pot. She is on the campaign that I have come for her body but she is playing the victim because before Xandy Kamel’s review, she loved and adored me when I was going for other people.
“Now when I spoke about her she is saying Oh my God you’ve body-shamed me,” Charlie Dior added.
Renowned Ghanaian artiste, Samini, maintains his belief that he could have become one of the country’s most accomplished athletes if he had attended a Senior High School equipped with facilities and policies to nurture sports talents.
Samini is convinced that his promising athletic career, which began during his primary school days, could have flourished on the global stage if he had enrolled in a school actively involved in inter-school sports competitions at the time.
During an interview on Angel FM, Samini emphasized that he didn’t intend to diminish the impact of St. Margareth Mary SHS in Dansoman on his life and career. Instead, he highlighted the absence of favorable conditions for nurturing talented sports students during his schooling years.
The award-winning musician also shared anecdotes of how he used to sneak out of campus to participate in inter-school competitions held at El Wak and Accra Academy.
“The only reason Ghana didn’t hear of me as an athlete is because I went to a high school which was very new then. We used to sneak out of school for inter-co to have a feel of it. Wesley Grammar, Accra Academy, Ebenezer, and all those schools used to participate but we had to jump walls because nothing used to happen on our campus.
“During my basic school days, I was known to be a runner. Those who know me can attest to the fact that I was a sprinter. Unfortunately, my SHS did not participate in such activities. I couldn’t explore most of the sporting opportunities” he said.
Samini also revealed his footballing prowess, mentioning that he was often deployed in the wing positions due to his remarkable speed.
In a confident tone, Samini boasted that he holds the position of the top striker in the soccer team comprised of Ghanaian musicians and proudly claims to have scored the highest number of goals in a competitive match.
“I played football also. My coach liked my pace so he mostly deployed me as a striker. In the current musician team, I’m the leading striker. I have scored the most goals also.
In addition to his high school education at St Margareth Mary, Dansoman, Samini recently graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management Public Administration (GIMPA).

“We were very scared,” said a 56-year-old woman named Jayanti Devi, while trying to save what remained of her things in the center of New Delhi. They broke everything. We don’t have anything remaining.
For the last 30 years, her house has been on a broken pavement, next to a dirty sewage drain, across from the large Pragati Maidan complex, which is an important meeting place in India’s capital. This week, leaders from the Group of 20 (G20) countries will gather there.
However, when US President Joe Biden, France’s Emmanuel Macron, or British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak come for the important summit, they will not see the actual residence.
Devi is one of many poor people living in New Delhi who have been forced to leave their homes before the G20 meeting. The government is demolishing houses in different parts of the city.
The government is tearing down buildings because they are considered “illegal”. They also promised to find new homes for the people who are being affected by this demolition.
However, some people who work to bring about change have raised concerns about the timing of these demolitions. They believe that instead of focusing on making the city more beautiful, the demolitions are actually a part of a plan to remove the city’s beggars and slums in order to impress important visitors from other countries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to show that India is a powerful, advanced country that leads other developing nations and speaks up for poor countries at the G20 summit. However, people are saying that the government is keeping a big problem that has been around for a long time a secret.
Social activist Harsh Mander, who helps homeless families and street children, says that he is most surprised by the fact that India, as a country, feels embarrassed about its obvious poverty. “It wants to hide poverty from people who visit. ”
In July, the Indian government said in writing to parliament that they didn’t think demolishing homes had anything to do with the G20 summit.
This city has both very rich people living in big and beautiful houses, as well as very poor families living on the streets nearby. In this city, children sell toys to people in cars when they stop at traffic lights. This city brings in a lot of business, but there are not enough jobs for everyone who wants them.
According to a report from the Centre for Policy Research, out of the 16 million people living in the capital, only 23. 7% of them live in neighborhoods that were planned or approved.
The others live in specific slums, villages, and places that were not officially approved.
In April, Savita and her four daughters felt very sad and worried when government officials came to their neighborhood, which was not approved, near the 14th century Tughlaqabad Fort, a famous monument in Delhi. The officials destroyed their small house and everything inside, erasing all the memories they had from the past seven years. “I can’t describe how sad everyone was when they destroyed the houses,” Savita said. “Many people were shouting, crying, and pleading for them to cease. ”
According to court documents seen by CNN, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) demolished the homes of Savita and her neighbors. ASI says that Savita and her neighbors illegally built their homes on the land. According to court documents, in January the ASI told the residents to remove any illegal buildings they had built within 15 days and at their own expense.
The ASI did not reply when people asked for their opinion or response.
Savita said she knew her family was buying land in a place they weren’t supposed to when they built their home in 2016.
“We were aware of the danger involved. ” “We don’t have much money, so this is the only thing we can buy,” she explained. “Many individuals have resided in this place for more than 40 years. ” Why didn’t the government tear down these houses sooner. Why is it happening now. People without a home or enough food to eat.
Over 100,000 people in the Tughlaqabad area lost their houses in April, as stated in a petition filed by a lawyer who is helping them, in the Supreme Court.
Many people, like Savita’s family, had to live outside because they didn’t have anywhere to go or money to rent an apartment. They had to use tarpaulin sheets as a makeshift shelter on the rough ground, even though the city was experiencing heavy rains and floods.
During the day, they asked nearby police officers for bread to split between the six of them. One night, she said that some men attempted to steal her neighbor’s daughter by dragging her into the dark woods while she was screaming.
Savita cried while saying, “We went through this tough time for six weeks. ” Her daughters were sad and isolated because they had to study next to piles of trash while stray dogs and cows searched through rotting food.
This has happened before when the Indian government removed slums before a big international event.
In 2010, when the Indian National Congress (who are now not in power) was in charge, they made beggars leave the streets of New Delhi and destroyed slums before the Commonwealth Games. This caused a lot of disruption and affected the lives of many people in the capital.
Mander, who helps people in the community, said it was not right for the government to focus on low-income families who live on land without permission.
Mander said that the government does not accept that these poor people have been made to do illegal things. This city was designed so that there are no legal places for them to live. The destructions are happening very cruelly.
The Delhi government plans to help Savita and her family get back on their feet. However, Savita hasn’t received any assistance yet and is currently fighting her case in court. Her family is currently staying with a family member in a small apartment in a crowded and cramped area.
The strong smell of cow poop fills the small streets, where many flies gather outside houses and skinny cats wander around the narrow paths.
Savita said that her kids don’t enjoy being here. “They want to know why this is happening to us. ” What should I say to them.
India, with a population of 1. 4 billion, has become a leader of countries in the Global South since becoming president of the G20. This comes at a time when people are struggling with high prices for food and energy due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Modi believes that India is a powerful and modern country, representing and advocating for those who are ignored and taking charge in the 21st century. Earlier this month, India accomplished a successful soft moon landing. This made India the fourth country in the world to achieve this.
Modi, while he was in the United States in June, talked to Congress and said that it is important to listen to and represent the countries in the southern part of the world.
As the war continues to make the global economy unstable and unpredictable, India has shown that it wants to address the various issues faced by developing countries, such as climate change problems and ensuring there is enough food and energy for everyone.
Modi said in February that the G20 has a big responsibility to help with issues like growth, development, economic strength, disaster protection, financial stability, crime, corruption, terrorism, and food and energy security.
However, people who fight for change highlight the funny part in that picture when the poorest people in India are finding it difficult to survive in their own homes.
Mander said that people are dying on the streets during the cold winter and we are tearing down homes. Everyone should have the basic right to be alive and to live with respect and honor.
Savita stood among the broken pieces of her house, which she had lived in for seven years. She said that she had many hopes and plans for her family.
I wanted my kids to grow up in this place. She said she wanted to provide them with a stable childhood.
Right now, security guards are walking around the Tughlaqabad area as workers are building a wall to close off the land. “Residents angrily asked the guards where they were on the day bulldozers took away our home. ” “Why didn’t you come to assist us. ”
Devi, who used to live in Pragati Maidan, now has to live in a temporary tent by the road because of the scorching summer heat.
She says no one has assisted her in finding another place to live.
She sells tea and snacks to make enough money to survive. She is surrounded by garbage that is rotting away and there is an open sewage drain nearby. This drain attracts many mosquitoes and flies. She feels very sad and like she has no one to help her.
Devi said that we are very mad, but we can’t do anything about it because we’re poor. “We are unable to express our opinions. ”
Ghanaian rapper Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru, firmly believes that Ghanaian musicians have the potential to achieve the same level of success as their Nigerian counterparts if they receive the necessary support.
He emphasized that with adequate backing, Ghanaian musicians can also attain international acclaim. Guru suggested that a government investment of just $20 million as initial funding for such a project could make a significant difference in their progress.
“You just budget for 20 million for twenty artistes, give them one year and after come back for auditing for them to proof how the money was used”, Guru told Ike de Unpredictable on Angel FM.
“You just try for once. When you go for a loan of 200 million just take 10 million out of it and see what they can do”, he emphasized.
Guru went on to express that with a budget of that magnitude, he could collaborate with some of the world’s most renowned musicians, including stars like Drake and Kanye West, showcasing the immense potential of Ghanaian talent on a global scale
The “Enye Nwanwa” hitmaker disclosed that, while musicians like himself in Ghana struggle to promote their songs with the little budget they have, others in the neighbouring countries are given millions of dollars to promote theirs.
Invasive species cause a lot of problems around the world. They make plants and animals disappear, make it harder to have enough food, and make environmental disasters worse. A new report supported by the United Nations found that this costs at least $423 billion every year.
Human actions, such as travel and global trade, are causing animals, plants, and other organisms to move to new areas faster than ever before. Scientists have observed that around 200 new species that are not native to an area are being discovered every year.
Out of the 37,000 alien species that have been brought to different parts of the world, 3,500 are harmful and pose a serious danger to the planet. They harm crops, kill native species, pollute water, spread diseases, and create conditions for devastating natural disasters.
Ecologist Helen Roy, who helped create the UN report, says the number mentioned is a very low estimate and there are many more species at risk.
The scientists say that if nothing is done to stop them from spreading and causing harm, the number of invasive species worldwide will be 33% more in 2050 compared to 2005.
We understand that things are changing. We are aware that climate change is getting worse, we know that the way we use land and sea is also getting worse, so we expect that the problem with invasive alien species will also get worse.
Alien species are living things that humans have moved to new places. They can be plants, animals, or other organisms. An invasive alien species is when it moves to a new area and causes problems for the plants, animals, and environment there, as well as for the people who live there.
Many things are happening where water hyacinths are blocking up lakes and rivers in Africa. Lion fish are affecting local fisheries in the Caribbean. On Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean, the Giant African land snail is taking over villages.
However, brown tree snakes have killed all the birds on the Pacific island of Guam and the fast-spreading zebra mussel has taken over the Great Lakes in North America.
In other places, mosquitoes are carrying and spreading illnesses such as dengue, Zika, malaria, and West Nile Virus to different areas.
Peter Stoett, who is a co-author of the report and also the dean of the faculty of social sciences and humanities at Ontario Tech University, said that we should not ignore how big of an impact some alien invasive species have.
Invasive species spreading to different countries and continents is causing a big problem – it is leading to a loss of biodiversity. This means that the diverse range of plants, animals, and environments that we rely on are getting worse. The report also found that invasive species are responsible for 60% of all known global extinctions.
When a type of foreign plant or animal successfully settles in a new environment, it can cause major problems.
The dry non-native grasses and shrubs in Hawaii were a major factor in causing the dangerous Maui wildfire last month, which was one of the deadliest in recent US history.
Anibal Pauchard, a professor at Chile’s Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity, stated that viewing biological invasions as someone else’s problem would be a very expensive mistake.
Even though different species cause problems in different areas, there are risks and challenges that affect people all over the world, regardless of their background or where they live. This includes even Antarctica. In these pictures, you can see invasive species from different parts of the world.
Along with harmful species that take over new environments, other important causes of the decline of different species and plants include destroying land and water homes, using organisms excessively, climate change, and pollution.
The report stated that the climate crisis will make the problem of invasive species worse. This means that these species will spread and live in new areas more easily.
In addition to flammable invasive plants causing wildfires, climate change is allowing invasive species to move to new areas like mountains, deserts, and frozen tundra.
But we can still be optimistic. The scientists believe that people can prevent invasive species from spreading. What is most important is to focus on preventing problems, especially when it comes to marine systems, according to Stoett.
The report says that the best way to deal with dangers from invasive species is to stop them from coming into new places. This means that there are rules in place to control what is brought into a country, and there are systems in place to quickly recognize and deal with new species before they can settle and cause harm.
According to the report, getting rid of invasive species has been helpful in controlling them, especially on islands.
“One of the main points made in the report is that we can make significant progress in dealing with harmful species from other places,” said Stoett.
We need a specific and combined approach that considers the different countries and sectors involved in biosecurity, such as trade and transportation, human and plant health, and economic development. “This will greatly help nature and people in many ways. ”
Last year, governments from different countries agreed to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The purpose of this agreement is to decrease the number of invasive alien species introduced and established by at least 50% by the year 2030.
The scientists have been working on their discoveries for four years. There are 86 experts on the team. They want these discoveries to help reach the global goals.
Pauchard said that governments worldwide strongly require this evaluation to take action in order to lessen the enormous danger to biodiversity and people.
Dr. Randy Abbey, a member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association, has been urged not to take legal action in response to unverified and sensational allegations made against him by socialite Abena Korkor.
Abena Korkor made these allegations during an interview on Kingdom FM, and the claims have since spread widely across various platforms. Fiifi Pratt, the host of the show where these allegations were made, has issued a sincere apology to Dr. Randy Abbey.
Using the same platform where Abena Korkor made her claims, Fiifi Pratt tried to convince Dr. Randy Abbey that he should not view himself as the target of a plot aimed at damaging his reputation. Fiifi Pratt also shared his positive working experience with Dr. Randy Abbey and expressed his commitment to not allowing his show to be used for malicious purposes.
“This is a heartfelt statement from me. I have known you for a long time so this is from a good place. Last Friday, I had a conversation with Abena Korkor on this platform and there were a number of things that I wasn’t impressed with.
“Anyone who watched that interview would have noticed that I wasn’t comfortable with some of the statements she made. All I want to say to Dr. Randy Abbey is that I’m sorry big time. I take the blame for the comments because if I had not invited Abena Korkor to my show, those things wouldn’t have happened.
Fiifi Pratt further clarified the reason for inviting Abena Korkor to his Kingdom FM show. He stated that Abena Korkor was invited to discuss her newly published book, and a significant portion of the interview revolved around Korkor’s life, including her struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues, among other topics.
“I didn’t invite Abena Korkor here to discuss Randy Abbey or whatever hotel she mentioned. Abena Korkor came because she wanted us to talk about her new book. The conversation centered around her life but it was a comment from Facebook that brought about all of this. Someone asked in the comment section about her and Randy Abbey and it brought about all these issues.
“Abena started by praising Randy Abbey my brother so I thought it wise to allow her to continue because she was saying that Dr. Randy Abbey was her mentor and even given her money to go to law school. It was until she made those comments that brought about those issues.
“Once again, I want to apologize to Randy Abbey and that he should not see what happened to be an agenda. I’m not an agenda presenter and it makes no sense for me to dedicate my two or three-hour program to pursue an agenda,” he said.
CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyemang, has announced that tourist sites in the country will now be required to obtain a license before they are allowed to operate. This new requirement is aimed at ensuring that tourist sites meet essential criteria to enhance and improve the safety of visitors.
Mr. Agyemang explained that the legislation governing the licensing of tourist sites was passed in 2020, but authorities granted sites some time to make necessary preparations before its enforcement in the current year.
During an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak on September 4, 2023, Akwasi Agyemang unveiled the Tourism Authority’s plans to implement the licensing of tourist sites in Ghana before they can commence their operations.
“We came up with a new legislative instrument, 2393, to make sure that all these places can be regulated. In the past, we didn’t have proper regulations for them.
Now you need to get a license to be able to operate a tourist site. And so, for example, whether it’s Boti Falls, whether it’s Kintampo we are going around to now license them.
“You need to have certain basic requirements. You need to have proper management in place. The law says that for every tourist site you need to have the assembly involved, you need to have the traditional authority involved and the tourism authority involved. So that is what we are doing,” he said.
Ghana Tourism Authority CEO indicated that the enforcement of the law on licensing tourist sites will ensure that authorities are complying with the requirements. He elaborated on some of the requirements.
“Unfortunately, it was passed in 2020, just before COVID, so when you pass a new law, you need to give people time to prepare before you start enforcement. Because probably some of them, don’t have washrooms.
“But the requirement is that you need to have a washroom. Some of them don’t have staff at all. Somebody sitting there, you need to recruit, they need to train. So we have started some aggressive stakeholder engagements with all the tourist sites. And we know that in due course we will be able to deal with it,” he said
Many teachers in South Korea are protesting because a teacher died, and people believe it was because of the stress of being an educator in a country with a very demanding education system.
Upset teachers are saying they are dealing with very tough requests and even mistreatment from upset parents. They want laws to change and more safeguards to protect them.
About 200,000 people joined a protest rally on Saturday, according to the Korean Federation of Teachers’ Associations, which got this information from the event organizers. On Monday, around 50,000 teachers didn’t go to work and came together in the capital city to remember a teacher who passed away, as told by the organizers. This happened even though the authorities had warned them that striking would be seen as against the law.
The teacher who taught the first grade class at Seoi elementary school in Seoul passed away on the school grounds on July 18. This information was announced in August by the Education Ministry and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, who looked into the incident. They did not give a name to the teacher.
Two days after the teacher died, the head education officer in the city, Cho Hee-yeon, said the teacher had sadly chosen to end her own life, which is a common way of saying suicide in South Korea.
Cho said the police are still looking into the matter, but admitted that teachers don’t have legal protection for their educational activities. He suggested taking special actions to give teachers more legal and institutional safeguards.
Education authorities investigated and responded to rumors on social media. The rumors included a claim that a disagreement between two students contributed to the teacher’s death.
In August, the teacher had a meeting with the parents of both students involved, according to the education vice minister. The teacher got many calls from a parent and was worried and uneasy that the parent knew their personal phone number.
However, the deputy minister also mentioned that it was still uncertain if the parent had used any mean words against the teacher.
According to the teacher’s diary and interviews with their colleagues, the investigation discovered that the teacher had a difficult student and was struggling to manage the homeroom. Additionally, the teacher had a high workload because it was the start of the semester.
The authorities didn’t give any more information about why the teacher died or what happened before it.
The death made many teachers in South Korea realize that they could no longer tolerate the lack of discipline in their classrooms. They have been afraid to enforce rules because they were scared of getting punished themselves. Many teachers have been committing suicide recently, which has made people even more angry. People have been protesting for several weeks before Monday’s strike because of these incidents.
According to government information, 100 teachers working in South Korean public schools took their own lives during the time period from January 2018 to June 2023. Most of these teachers were from elementary schools.
The information does not say what caused their deaths, and we don’t know if their work was a reason for their suicides. But a lot of people in the education field believe that a law about child abuse that was made in 2014 is to blame.
According to the law, anyone who thinks a child is being hurt can tell the authorities about it, without having to prove it. Officials might examine the accusation by going to the place where the abuse supposedly occurred, like the schools, and talking to people who are involved in the situation.
Teachers say that sometimes parents can be unfairly angry with them because they think their child has been treated unfairly. This can put their jobs at risk.
In a survey done by a Korean teachers’ union, over 60% of the 6,243 people who answered said they either had been reported for hurting a child or knew a teacher who had been reported.
A woman, who CNN isn’t naming to protect her privacy, said that the current law on preventing child abuse limits what teachers can teach and guide in the classroom.
“The woman, who claimed to be an elementary school teacher, stated that although most teachers and parents are good, there are some parents who wrongly use this law to accuse teachers of child abuse. ”
Another woman who was also part of the strike did not want to give her name. She mentioned that she has been teaching for 10 years.
“The teacher said to CNN that teaching children in the classroom is very hard because the teachers are not given the power to make decisions. ” “Even though the Child Abuse Prevention Act was made to help keep children safe, its guidelines are not clear. ”
She said that lots of teachers feel very stressed because they are afraid of being told on by upset parents, even for giving small punishments to students or other types of discipline in class.
Officials have tried to make teachers feel better by recognizing and understanding their complaints.
Cho, who is in charge of the Seoul education office, told teachers to not make Monday a chaotic day. He suggested creating a group to investigate the teacher’s death at Seoi elementary school and make sure students can still learn while also finding a way to remember the teacher who died.
However, he spoke in a friendlier way in another statement on Sunday. He said that he had heard the desperate pleas of teachers and that he would not blame anyone involved in the strike on Monday.
The ministry has made a plan to make teaching rights stronger and better protect teachers. They also want to fix the system that has caused problems for teachers. The ministry has asked the government to make laws quickly, so that they can differentiate between proper teaching and child abuse crimes.
President Yoon Suk Yeol said in a meeting on Monday that we should listen to the concerns of teachers and work hard to improve the teaching profession and make education better.
However, people who protest and teachers are saying that they will not be happy until changes are made to the law against child abuse. According to Reuters, one of the protest groups called Everyone Together As One stated that they will keep the teachers safe and make improvements to prevent any teacher from deciding to end their life.
At the school where the teacher passed away, people placed funeral wreaths and white flowers outside. They also wrote messages on sticky notes on a wall.
The protests and attention given to teacher suicides show that South Korea has bigger mental health problems and that people have been criticizing its difficult education system for a long time.
South Korea has the highest rate of people committing suicide compared to other countries in the OECD. This rate is going up especially among teenagers and young adults in their twenties, as stated by the health ministry of the country.
Many teenagers worry a lot about their education. In Korea, most students go to normal school during the day and then attend private tutoring classes in the evenings. They also study on their own until very late at night.
This stress also affects parents, who begin spending money on their children’s education from a very young age. According to the Ministry of Education, South Koreans spent 26 trillion won (about $20 billion) on private education in 2022.
In a recent survey conducted by the Korean Federation of Teachers’ Associations, only 23. 6% of teachers expressed happiness with their jobs. This is the lowest percentage ever recorded, as it has dropped from almost 68% in 2007. The survey included 6,751 teachers working in various educational institutions from kindergarten to universities nationwide.

Former Netherlands coach Louis Van Gaal has leveled some concerning accusations concerning the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar.
Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, secured their first World Cup victory since 1986 by defeating defending champions France in an exhausting final at the Lusail Stadium on December 18.
It was a remarkable comeback for Messi, who led his team to victory despite experiencing an early setback when they fell 2-1 behind against underdogs Saudi Arabia in their initial group match.
Following that initial setback, La Albiceleste went on to defeat Mexico and Poland, securing their passage to the knockout stages of the tournament.
Argentina then proceeded to defeat Australia in the round of 16, overcome Louis Van Gaal’s Dutch team in the quarter-finals, and decisively defeat 2018 finalists Croatia in the semi-finals.
Nonetheless, the former Netherlands coach has recently alleged that these matches were prearranged and orchestrated to enable Messi to achieve a storybook football triumph.
The former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has issued a challenge to two university professors who suggested that Vice President Dr. Mahamamudu Bawumia might not secure the party’s flagbearer position.
As a private legal practitioner, Obiri Boahen is prepared to defend his belief that Bawumia will emerge as the NPP’s flagbearer, putting his legal practice on the line in this challenge.
“Mark it at any permanent place, Prof Gyampo says Bawumia cannot win and I am insisting he will win. He should bet his position as UTAG president on it, I am also willing to bet my legal practice on it.
“Both Prof Gyampfo and Prof Asah Asante. I will stop being a lawyer, I won’t ever enter a court room again,” he vowed during an interview on Angel FM.
On November 4, 2023, the New Patriotic Party will convene a national delegates congress to select a flagbearer from among the five candidates chosen by the party’s special delegates congress.
During the electoral college vote held on August 26, 2023, to reduce the number of candidates from 10 to five, Vice President Dr. Bawumia secured the highest number of votes, receiving over 600 votes, which accounted for approximately 68% of the total votes cast.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has opened up about a tough period when he underwent unplanned open heart surgery, emphasizing the urgency of his recovery in a recent video on his YouTube channel, Arnold’s Pump Club.
In early 2018, at 76 years old, the actor and bodybuilder faced a harrowing experience when he was initially scheduled for non-invasive heart surgery.
“I remember when I had my open heart surgery, my third one… I was really freaking out, and I woke up all of the sudden and the doctor was standing in front of me, and saying ‘I’m so sorry, but unlike what we planned, a non-invasive surgery… we made a mistake and poked through the heart wall, and there was internal bleeding, and we had to open you up to save your life.’” Schwarzenegger recalled.
“The bottom line is, you cannot roll the clock back,” he continued. “I was in the middle of a disaster… so now it’s about, ‘how do I get out of it?’ You have to shift gears.”
Getting healthy enough to get discharged from the hospital was the first step in his recovery, Schwarzenegger said.
“[That meant] getting out of bed and start walking. First 10 steps, then longer and longer,” he explained, adding that when he needed extra motivation, “I called my buddies in and said, ‘You guys have to fire me up. You have to count the number of steps that I’m doing.’”
“And this is what we did, everyday. Everybody came into the hospital, They said, ‘OK, Arnold, it’s time to get up!’” Schwarzenegger recalled. “I wanted to get really going with the exercise, get out of the hospital as quick as possible, and then get going with the training again.” “Because three months later, I started with Terminator 6,” he said, referring to Terminator: Dark Fate, which was set to start shooting after multiple delays. “So I had to be in shape, I had to be able to move around, run around, lift things up, do the fight scene, all these things.” Schwarzenegger revealed behind-the scenes footage of himself both in the hospital and practising on exercise equipment once he was discharged as he pondered on his healing process.
“And I did it! Because I had a positive attitude and knew exactly how I was going to get there,” he explained. “[And] I had the support system, because none of this we can do by ourselves… When I started shooting Terminator 6, I was all back together again.”
The New Patriotic Party’s Presidential Candidate, Alan Kyerematen, will unveil his campaign’s future plans today, September 5, 2023, following the Super Delegates’ Conference.

This address, set for 2:00 pm at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, will be broadcast on major radio and television stations and on social media platforms.
In his statement, Mr. Kyerematen, who finished third in the election, condemned the reported assault on his North-East Regional Coordinator during the voting day, deeming it unjustified and unnecessary as his representative committed no wrongdoing at the voting center. He also expressed that this incident marred the party’s internal democratic process.
“I would however like to express my deep sorrow about the brutal assault on my polling agent in the North East Region. This is an indelible blot on the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP.”
“I wish my colleague a speedy recovery and God’s manifold blessings and would like to assure him and his family of my unwavering support for his well-being,” an excerpt of his release said.
Ali Zakaria was reportedly assaulted by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s supporters when he tried to prevent a delegate from publicly displaying their cast ballot.
In response, Mr. Kyerematen has issued a stern warning, stating that he will not tolerate further attacks on his supporters. He emphasized that it makes no sense for supporters of any candidate to be subjected to violence during the election process within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking to the media after visiting Zakaria, Mr. Kyerematen declared, “I am not going to tolerate this kind of behavior. It doesn’t make sense, and when we cannot conduct ourselves as a family trying to select a leader in a peaceful and organized manner, how do we intend to be able to do the same kind of process when we have 200,000 plus people gathered?”
During the initial selection exercise to choose five candidates for the main election in November, Mr. Kyerematen’s performance was surprising to many, as he was considered the main rival to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Dr. Bawumia received 629 votes (68.15% of the total), while Mr. Kyerematen secured 95 votes (10.82%), and Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP, came in second with 132 votes (15.03%).
Superintendent George Asare, a senior police officer implicated in the plot to remove Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akufo Dampare from office, has made a startling revelation regarding former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Bugri Naabu.
George Asare alleged that Bugri Naabu confided in him about his practice of engaging the services of mallams, Imams, and powerful spiritual practitioners to assist individuals in securing influential positions in the country.
The superintendent disclosed the details of a private conversation he had with Bugri Naabu, during which the politician personally requested the presence of these spiritual figures to aid in their efforts to oust the IGP through spiritual means.
While testifying before a parliamentary committee investigating the matter, he further revealed that Bugri Naabu had recommended three specific mallams to support their mission.
“It was Chief Bugri Naabu who invited me to his office. I wasn’t lobbying for anybody. Chief Bugri Naabu made an emphatic statement about this thing, I want to quote him verbatim, but it will be difficult. All that he was trying to say was that this thing, we have to fight it, both physically and spiritually.
“And then he gave examples of people that he helped them fight for the positions spiritually. It was a private conversation; I don’t want to make it public here.
“But the spiritual one, he went further to show us which places we can go. So, it was on the premise of this that I made the statement that Alhaji, this one, you are the spiritual controller.
“Because you [Bugri Naabu] made us understand that I didn’t even know that, when you are fighting for a position, you have to fight it in two ways, both spiritually and physically,” he said.
Despite emphasizing the Christian background and that of COP George Alex Mensah, who was also captured on the leaked tape, Bugri Naabu remains resolute, according to him, and even gives them information on where powerful spiritual individuals can be found who could help them gain power.
“I said that as for Master [COP George Alex Mensah] I don’t think he will buy into this idea of fighting this spiritually, because he’s a Christian. He [Bugri Naabu] mentioned some Imams, that can help pray for him [COP Alex Mensah].
“Some Imams can help him with prayers. Chief Bugri Naabu insisted that he has to also see some Mallams. He recommended about three, some in the North, and some from his village. It was Chief Bugri Naabu himself who came forth with that suggestion,” Supt. Asare insisted.
Superintendent Asare also claimed that the part of the leaked audio where he objected to using Mallams was edited out. Thus, he doubts the recording’s authenticity and intent.
