Sunak says that spreading misinformation about the incident at the Gazan hospital had a bad impact in the area, including on an important US diplomatic effort and on tensions within the country.
“He says we should learn from our mistakes and in the future, we should take more time before making a decision,” he tells the members of Parliament.
The people in charge of Gaza (Hamas) said that Israel purposely bombed the Al-Ahli hospital last week.
Israel has accused Islamic Jihad, a militant group in Gaza. Islamic Jihad said that they did not have anything to do with the explosion.

Lupita Nyong’o receives massive support from fans after splitting up with 51-year-old boyfriend
Fans of Kenyan Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong’o have shown their support after she revealed her breakup with US-based TV host Selema Masekela.
Nyong’o opened up on Instagram, sharing her experience of heartbreak, stating it was due to a love that was suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. She didn’t mention anyone by name.
Masekela has remained silent on the matter and has disabled comments on his Instagram posts.
Nyong’o, a renowned Hollywood actress who made history in 2014 as the first Kenyan to win an Oscar, announced her relationship with Masekela in December of the previous year.
“We just click!” Nyong’o captioned the video introducing their relationship, which she has since deleted.
In a different post, Selema—the son of South African jazz icon Hugh Masekela—also waxed poetic about Nyong’o.
“Hearts are synched. My whole and actual love Lupita Nyongo,” he said.
In her break-up post, Nyong’o said she wanted to “publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust” and that her love was “extinguished by deception”.
Many of the couple’s fans were taken aback to learn of the breakup because they considered the couple’s announcement as a touching moment that transpired years after Masekela had asked his followers for tips on how to approach the Black Panther star in conversation.
“Hypothetically speaking of course, let’s say you are seated behind Lupita Nyong’o on an airplane. What would be your opening line?” Masekela posted on X in 2016.
Thousands of comments have been made in support of Nyong’o by her admirers and some of her famous friends. The actress has amassed a sizable fan following over the years thanks to her captivating roles in blockbuster films like Us and Black Panther.
“We lift you up with love and sisterhood. Your miracles are all around you. Let us count them in confidence and faith,” said Oscar-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay.
Many fans have also hailed Nyong’o for her “bravery” and willingness to openly share a private and sensitive issue with the world.
Nyong’o said in her post that she hoped “knowledge of my experience might be useful to someone else out there experiencing the grip of heartbreak who is poised to try and escape from the pain and miss out on the wisdom that comes from it”.
Very few comments have been made in favour of Masekela.

Legendary Indian cricketer Bishan Bedi passes away at 77
Indian cricket hero Bishan Singh Bedi has passed away at the age of 77 after a long sickness.
He was dealing with illnesses that come with getting older and had to have some surgeries recently.
Bedi, who is considered one of the best spin bowlers in the world, led India in 22 out of his 67 Test matches and got 266 wickets.
He started playing against West Indies in 1966 and played his final game against England at The Oval in 1979.
Bedi also played cricket for Northamptonshire in England. He ended his career with 1,560 wickets in first-class matches, which is the highest number of wickets by any Indian bowler.
Bedi was a very important member of a famous group of four spin bowlers from India in the 1960s and 70s. The other bowlers in the group were Erapalli Prasanna, Bhagwat Chandrasekhar, and Srinivas Venkataraghavan. In 2021, Bedi was selected by readers to be part of BBC Sport’s all-time India Test XI.
Bedi was born in Amritsar in Punjab, India. He started playing cricket while he was in school. When he was 20 years old, he became the 113th person to play cricket for India in Test matches.
During his 12-year career, his greatest bowling achievement was in 1969 when he took seven wickets for 98 runs against Australia in Kolkata (previously known as Calcutta). India ended up losing that Test match.
Bedi was a spin bowler who wore a pink or bright blue turban and was highly admired by those who love the art of spin bowling. He was good at bowling because he had a relaxed approach and smooth movements. A writer who talks about cricket described the left arm spinner as very sneaky, quiet and dangerous. They said that this player is really good at tricking their opponents by changing the way they throw the ball without anyone noticing. They can make the ball go high or low, spin in different ways, and change its speed, all while keeping the same throwing style.
Ramachandra Guha, a historian and author of a book about Indian cricket called A Corner of a Foreign Field, wrote that Bedi was able to throw the ball high in the air better than any other bowler in international cricket. This helped him to challenge fast-moving batsmen because he had such good control over the ball that he could make it come down much quicker than it had gone up.
Syed Kirmani, a former wicketkeeper for India who played in 88 Tests, once said that Bedi had a lot of different ways to bowl and could throw six different types of deliveries in one over.
The famous West Indies cricketer Sir Garry Sobers, who was known for his skills in both batting and bowling, said that Bedi was able to lighten the ball’s pressure effectively. Mike Brearley, who was one of the best captains of the England cricket team, described his team’s bowling as “beautiful”.
And Australia’s famous Sir Donald Bradman, who is believed to be the best batter in the history of the game, thought that “Bedi was a skilled bowler who would be appreciated by those who understand the game, and he was one of the best in his category. ”
Bedi was a unique cricketer who spoke his mind and frequently got into arguments.
In 1976, he stopped India from playing further in a cricket game against West Indies because the opposing team was being too aggressive and trying to scare the Indian players. The game was being played in Kingston, Jamaica.
Three Indian batters got injured by fast bowlers from West Indies and couldn’t continue playing. Bedi explained that it wasn’t a decision made by the team, as there were no healthy players left to take their place and play. West Indies won the game by a big margin of 10 wickets.
In 1977, he said that England bowler John Lever used Vaseline to make the ball swing during a tour in India. The following year, he gave up a match against Pakistan because he believed the umpires were showing favoritism. In 1990, he was the leader of the Indian team and got angry when they lost a match against Australia. He said he might leave the team in the ocean. In 2002, he made a strong criticism of Sri Lanka’s famous spin player Muttiah Muralitharan, saying that he cheated by throwing the ball incorrectly.
Bedi said in an interview published in Wisden Cricket Asia that if Murali doesn’t cheat in bowling, then he would like someone to teach him how to bowl properly.
In 1978, he said no to a lot of money that Kerry Packer offered him to play in a special cricket tournament in Australia. He later said that Packer’s representative had tried to convince him three times with big amounts of money.
Many years later, he criticized player auctions in the Indian Premier League. He didn’t like the idea of players being treated like horses being sold to the person who offers the most money.
At home, Bedi always spoke his mind and criticized cricket board officials without holding back.
He requested to have his name removed from a sign at the main cricket stadium in Delhi. He did this as a way to show his objection to a statue of a deceased politician from the ruling BJP party being placed there. He went on TV without permission and asked for more money for his team’s matches. He once said that if it’s wrong to say what you think, then he has done it many times and is therefore guilty.
Bedi was a very outgoing person who liked to be around many people and had a striking personality. His daughter remembered a home where there was always plenty of alcohol, food, and lots of loud laughter that couldn’t be stopped. He really liked dogs and would bring different types of dogs back home from his time in the UK.
The person who was known as the “sardar of spin” in India was very funny and made everyone around him laugh a lot.
In England, he got two dogs from a dog place, called them Charles and Diana, and brought them to India. At the airport in London, a person in a position of authority asked him, “Are you making fun of our royal family. “A serious Bedi responded by saying, “No. I am keeping the money earned from my work. ”
The wisecrack explained Bedi in a few different ways: someone who doesn’t show much respect and who goes against the rules. And surely, one of the best cricket players ever. -

Indian schools face stricter regulations after a student attempted suicide
Coaching centers in the northern Indian city of Kota will have stricter rules because more students are taking their own lives. BBC Hindi journalist Vineet Khare spoke with students who have traveled to Kota in order to receive extra coaching for their entrance exams in prestigious colleges. Many of these students feel a lot of pressure to succeed.
Vijay, who is 21 years old but that’s not his real name, did not pass the entrance exam for medical college three times. He thought that going to an expensive coaching center in Kota, a city in the state of Rajasthan in northern India, would help him pass the test.
Just like many other students, Vijay thought of Kota as a place where his dreams could come true.
The city has big signs that display the names, pictures, and rankings of students who have done well. Over 200,000 students, including some as young as 13, come here to study and stay in hostels or privately rented homes.
This place is famous for its educational centers that help young people get ready for India’s tough entrance exams for top medical and engineering colleges. There are 12 big learning centers and at least 50 smaller ones.
Feeling proud, overwhelmed, and worried.
Indian parents feel a lot of pride when their children get accepted into prestigious colleges, and they don’t view failure in a positive way. The institutes ask for over 100,000 Indian rupees ($1,200, £1,000) per year, which is a lot of money for many families. Getting into a good engineering or medical college can lead to a well-paid job.
Vijay’s family lives in a rural area and does not have much money. His dad is a farmer and he was really worried about making his parents unhappy.
He confesses that in the past, he would lie to his parents about his poor test scores.
He says that he started feeling very worried and it was causing him to have headaches and pain in his chest. And it was when he didn’t pass his second exam that he almost tried to end his own life.
“He said that he felt like he didn’t have any other choice. ”
I spent my parents’ money and ruined their reputation.
“He says that the stress of the situation made me think about hurting myself, but I didn’t tell anyone. ”
Vijay says he changed his opinion after he saw a famous Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone, talking about her sadness. The actress talked openly about how working too much is sometimes seen as a good thing and how it can harm mental health. He was encouraged to ask for help because she was honest and open. Vijay is currently receiving help for his mental health and he is trying to live one day at a time.
Other students also tell me about how difficult it is to live alone, the high expectations that their parents have for them, the pressure they feel from their friends, the intense competition, and having to work for 14 hours each day. In Kota, over 100 students have died by suicide in the last 10 years. This year, at least 25 students have taken their lives, which is the highest number in one year so far, says the police data.
One of the suicides in the city happened while I was visiting. A 15-year-old girl took her own life.
We don’t know why she decided to end her own life. “Her father told me on the phone while he was traveling to Kota after learning about her death, that she never told us about any stress related to her studies. ” However, she did discuss student suicides in Kota. He said he told her to concentrate on her studies instead.A local newspaper called the Hindustan Times looked at information from the government and found that in 2023, many young boys under the age of 18 in Kota, India took their own lives. These boys were studying for medical tests and came from poor families living far away in the northern parts of the country.
Adarsh Raj was a student from a farming family in Kota. He had a dream of becoming a doctor but sadly, he ended his life in August when he was 18 years old. His family is extremely sad and upset. We did not try to make him do something he didn’t want to do. His uncle Harishankar told me that they think his depression was caused by getting low grades on his tests, and that’s why he did something extreme. “But killing oneself is not the answer. ”
Rules, hotlines, and classes to support mental well-being.
The government of Rajasthan has made new rules for coaching institutes in Kota because there have been more student suicides lately.
On 29 September, it released guidelines that say schools should not accept students under the age of 14 (before ninth grade) and should not share test scores with others.
We will focus more on mental health workshops and programs for students. We are working on a plan to put up more posters to advertise a helpline that helps students.
In June, a group of 11 individuals, led by senior police officer Chandrasheel, formed a team to find students who are showing signs of depression.
He says that we visit hostels and talk to people to see if any students are acting differently. If we see warning signs, we keep an eye on the student, talk to them, communicate with the person in charge of the hostel, and talk to their parents. The Covid pandemic has caused people to be isolated from each other.
According to the World Health Organization, suicide is the fourth most common cause of death among young people aged 15 to 29 worldwide.
Over 13,000 students in India died by suicide in 2021, which is a 4. 5% increase from 2020, as per government data.
A teacher said that there can be a lot of kids in a class at a coaching center, up to 300. Sometimes, the teacher doesn’t know all the names of the students, and this can make the kids feel alone and left out.
The Covid pandemic and the various times when people were not allowed to go out have caused a really big change.
Nitin Vijay, the head of Motion Education, a popular coaching center in India, says that students who have experienced Covid-19 are now less able to handle stress compared to before the pandemic. “But he says that it will get better as time goes on. ” -

Canadian visas to resume once diplomats are secure – India’s Foreign Minister
India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has said that they will start giving visas to Canadians again if they notice improvements in the safety of Indian diplomats in Canada.
India stopped issuing visas in September because they said there were security problems at their offices in Canada.
The two countries are in the middle of a disagreement over the killing of a Sikh separatist leader in Canada.
Ottawa has previously stated that it is very concerned about the safety of diplomats.
But it has not answered India’s specific claims about dangers to its diplomats in Canada.
The relationship between the countries got much worse after the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, said in September that his country was looking into “believable accusations that could link” the Indian government to the murder of a Sikh leader.
India completely disagreed with the accusations and thought they were ridiculous.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who is from Canada, was killed in his car by two people wearing masks outside a Sikh temple in British Columbia in June. Nijjar strongly supported a separate Sikh homeland called Khalistan. This was a controversial topic in India because there was a violent rebellion in the 1980s demanding it.
Who was Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the leader of Sikhs in Canada.
Why do some Sikhs want their own state.
India was worried about the safety of its officials in Canada even before things got worse. They were concerned about threats from Khalistan supporters. In July, Canada’s Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly wrote on Twitter that the country is very concerned about the safety of its diplomats. This came after a poster for a pro-Khalistan rally blamed two Indian diplomats for the death of Nijjar.
In September, the Indian government said they had to temporarily stop giving visas to Canadians. They said this was because their embassy and consulates in Canada were being threatened, which made it hard for them to work normally. The Canadian embassy also mentioned that some of the people who work for them have been threatened on different social media sites.
Canada’s foreign minister said 41 diplomats left India last week. India asked Canada to remove many of their staff, saying they would not have immunity if they stayed.
Canadian officials have said that this goes against the rules that countries have agreed upon in the world. The United States and the United Kingdom are worried about the decision.
On Sunday, Mr Jaishankar explained that India wants both countries to have equal diplomatic rights and that this aligns with the rules of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations.
He said that we used parity because we were worried about Canadian people interfering in our affairs often. This was mentioned at an event, and he also mentioned that the relationship between India and Canada was going through a tough period.
“But I just want to say that the issues we have are with a specific group in Canadian politics and the decisions that come from that,” he said.
Canada’s visa services are still available in India, but it has informed that it will take longer to process them due to having fewer staff after the diplomats left. Currently, both Canada and India have 21 diplomats in each other’s country.
Last week, Mr. Trudeau said that India’s strict actions towards diplomats were making life difficult for many people in both countries.
According to the 2021 census, Canada has 1. 4 million people who come from India. More than half of them are Sikhs. These Indian-origin people make up 3. 7% of Canada’s population. India sends the most students from other countries to Canada. In 2022, 320,000 of the total international students in Canada were from India, which is 40% of the total.
In 2021, around 80,000 people from Canada went to visit India. Only the US, Bangladesh, and UK had more tourists visiting India that year. -

He won the title of the best African football player in 1993.
Yekini got the nickname “Goalsfather” because he was really good at tricking goalkeepers and scoring a lot.

Executive Chairman of Constructora OAS Ghana Ltd Andrew Clocanas., a company at the center of the controversial Saglemi Affordable Housing project, was discovered lifeless at his Airport Residential Apartment, ABC NEWS reports. Manasseh Azure Awuni crowned Best African Investigative Journalist
The founding Editor-in-Chief of The Fourth Estate, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has been crowned as the best African Investigative Journalist at the 2023 Norbert Zongo African Prize for Investigative Journalism (PAJI-NZ). The awards ceremony, which took place on Saturday night in Burkina Faso, recognized exceptional investigative journalism from 140 entries originating from 29 countries.
Mr. Awuni claimed the grand prize of the evening by securing the gold award in the television category and the silver award in the online category. His accolades included plaques, certificates, and a $4,000 cash prize.
The winning story in the television category and the ultimate prize, titled “The COVID-19 Spraying Scandal Initiated by President Nana Akufo-Addo,” exposed the fraudulent and unnecessary COVID-19 spraying operation initiated by Ghana’s president, costing the nation approximately $100 million. The investigation revealed that this spraying operation ran contrary to the advice of the World Health Organization and that multiple existing government contracts already covered the entire country for this task. The story provided concrete evidence that Ghana’s local assemblies were equipped to perform the spraying but were sidelined to award a new contract to Zoomlion Ghana Limited.
The “Licensed Sex Predator” story, which won the second prize in the online category, is a three-part investigative series that uncovered a quack health practitioner who used his registered practice to entice and sexually assault numerous women seeking treatment at his facility.
State authorities in Ghana apprehended the licensed sex predator, shut down his facility, and brought him to court, thereby putting an end to his exploitation of vulnerable and unsuspecting victims.
Ghana’s Parliament recently directed all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies to terminate their fumigation contracts with Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the sanitation company engaged by the President for the fumigation exercise. The Public Accounts Committee of Parliament characterized these contracts as a “waste of taxpayers’ money.”
Mr. Awuni expressed his satisfaction with the award, particularly regarding the story that earned him the ultimate prize, the “spraying scandal.” He noted that many media outlets were unwilling to broadcast it due to Zoomlion’s financial contributions to secure media coverage for the exercise.
The Norbert Zongo African Prize for Investigative Journalism (PAJI-NZ), named in memory of the slain Burkinabe investigative journalist, Norbert Zongo, seeks to recognize African journalists who conduct high-quality investigations into corruption, organized crime, human rights violations, governance, environmental crime, and terrorism across print, radio, television, and online media.
In 2021, Mr. Awuni was the first runner-up in the television category for his investigative piece, “Contracts for Sale.”
Prior to receiving this award, the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) named “The Licensed Sex Predator” one of the ten best investigative stories in sub-Saharan Africa in 2021. The GIJN also recognized “The COVID-19 Spraying Scandal Initiated by President Akufo-Addo” as one of its most outstanding stories in January 2022.
“The Licensed Sex Predator” received a nomination for the People Journalism Prize for Africa and the One World Media Awards, organized by the United Kingdom-based One World Media Foundation, in the 2022 global awards.
Manasseh Azure Awuni is currently pursuing studies at Harvard University, having been awarded a one-year Nieman Journalism Fellowship. His previous investigative work has led to the imprisonment of government and private individuals, the cancellation of contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and the passage of a law by Ghana’s parliament.

Nigeria’s supreme court set to listen to Presidential election challenges
The Supreme Court in Nigeria has started to listen to the opposition’s argument about the presidential election outcome from February 2023.
Bola Tinubu won the poll, but his opponents, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, want the country’s highest court to change the decision made by the Election Petition Court, which confirmed Mr Tinubu’s win.
The legal problem could make things worse and keep dividing the country based on political parties.
It might take a couple of weeks for the seven judges on the Supreme Court panel to make a decision on the issue.
If the higher court agrees with the lower court’s decision, this would be consistent with what has happened before in elections in Africa’s most populated country. In the past, there has never been a situation where the result of a presidential election has been changed.
However, Abubakar has stated that he will provide the court with additional proof regarding the controversy surrounding the president’s alleged use of a fake educational certificate as evidence of his eligibility.
However, Tinubu is against the introduction of new evidence.
He is asking the court to not allow his opponent to give more evidence for their new claim.
The Election Petition Court said that the opposition candidates could not show that there were problems with the election.
The judges said that the people who started the petition were not able to show evidence for their argument that there was too much voting and that some voters were stopped from voting. -

Javier Milei and Sergio Massa to face off in second round of Argentine presidential election
In Argentina’s presidential election on Sunday, the economy minister Sergio Massa surprised everyone by getting over 36% of the votes. This means he has a good chance of competing with far-right candidate Javier Milei in a second round.
Mr Massa’s lead came as a surprise because people thought voters would be angry with him for being in charge during a financial crisis.
The rate of inflation in Argentina is almost 140%.
With almost all votes counted, none of the candidates got enough votes (45%) to win directly.
So, there will be another voting round on November 19th. People will need to decide between Mr. Massa, who belongs to the left-wing Peronist group, and Mr. Milei, who follows a far-right libertarian ideology.
Mr Milei, who got the most votes in the elections in August, is now second place with 30% of the votes.
Patricia Bullrich, who used to be in charge of security and has conservative views, came in third place with 23. 8% of the votes.
After the result was announced, Ms Bullrich criticized Sergio Massa for being part of the worst government in Argentina’s history. She stated that she would not congratulate him.
Juan Schiaretti and Myriam Bregman, the other two candidates in the election, did not receive as many votes. Juan Schiaretti got 6. 8% of the votes and Myriam Bregman got 2. 7% of the votes.
Some people who support Mr. Massa went out on the streets in Buenos Aires to celebrate after he won unexpectedly.
Luis Esquivel said to the BBC that Massa demonstrated that he was the only candidate with a real plan for the country.
“He organized a successful campaign, and the results prove it,” said Juliana Agrofoglio, a 27-year-old. She also said that the voters came together to face the fear that Mr. Milei had caused.
Mr Milei suggested getting rid of the central bank and using the US dollar instead of the Argentine peso. This appealed to voters who wanted a drastic solution to improve Argentina’s struggling economy.
He has also said he will reduce the number of ministries and make the government smaller, make it easier to own guns, and make it harder to get an abortion.
In easier terms, Mr. Milei said to his followers that they had seen the most significant election in the past 100 years. He added that Sunday’s vote was important because Argentineans voted for something different.
Benjamin Gedan, who is in charge of the Argentina Project at the Wilson Center think tank in Washington, said that even though many people in Argentina want big changes, there are also many who would suffer if the social welfare system that Mr. Milei suggests gets taken apart.
“If Milei is at rallies holding a chainsaw, it means people’s quality of life is being negatively impacted,” Mr. Gedan told the AFP news agency. Mr Massa mostly talked about why the current government is good and should be supported during his campaign.
“Our country is facing a difficult situation (. ) but you believed in us as the best means to make progress in Argentina’s history,” he told his supporters in Buenos Aires.
The 51-year-old person said that the cuts in spending made by his government happened because the previous government had borrowed a lot of money from the IMF.
With two very different candidates competing against each other, disagreements are likely to get worse in the next month leading up to the final vote. This is happening during a tough period for Argentina’s economy.
The person who wins the run-off will face a big task: to convince a country tired of politics and filled with people who desperately want their lives to get better. -

Reason China and Philippines are heading in opposite directions
Look closely at a video of the crash between a ship from the Philippine coastguard and a ship from a Chinese maritime militia in the South China Sea on Sunday.
In simple words: In the middle of the ship, a Filipino TV crew is rushing to film a scene where someone talks to the camera while two parts of the ship hit each other.
Manila and Beijing have been fighting over underwater areas in the South China Sea for a long time.
However, over the past few months, something has been different. The arguments happening in the open sea are now being shown on TV for everyone to see. Philippine journalists have filmed a close encounter near a sensitive reef called Second Thomas Shoal, Ayungin Shoal, or Ren Ai Reef. This is the second time this has happened in weeks.
This isn’t a coincidence. The Philippine government wants to draw attention to China’s aggressive actions in controlling the waters that belong to Manila.
I believe we have noticed a big difference this year. Retired Colonel Raymond Powell from Stanford University’s Gordian Knot Center describes it as a straightforward transparency campaign.
In January, the Philippine government started giving more videos of the incidents to local news outlets. During the summer, it started allowing more and more journalists, including the BBC, to go on their boats and planes that were going to the disputed waters.
Colonel Powell says that the situation has been made clear and visible, like turning on a light, to reveal China’s secret activities.China seems to have been surprised by these new methods.
According to Oriana Skylar Mastro from the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, there was a period where it seemed like the strategy was effective. Mastro explains, “We noticed a brief pause in China’s actions. ”
Beijing relaxed its grip, and Manila was able to bring in more supplies to a place it has on Second Thomas Shoal – an old landing ship from World War II called the Sierra Madre.
In 1999, someone purposely made the ship crash into the reef. Since then, a very small group of Filipino marines has been guarding alone on an old, decaying ship as it slowly breaks apart. In 2014, a group from BBC went on the ship. Even at that time, it was in really bad shape with big holes on its sides, and waves were splashing inside the building.
Most experts think that China has been happy to think and plan for the future. When China and the Philippines have had good relations, China’s coastguard has allowed supplies to be delivered to the Sierra Madre. When people are not getting along, they have stopped the ships from bringing more supplies.
However, Beijing believes that eventually the Philippines will have to remove their marines from the Sierra Madre ship because it won’t last much longer and will eventually collapse into the sea.
During the six years that former president Rodrigo Duterte was in power, it seemed that this belief was likely true. However, ever since President Ferdinand Marcos Jr was elected last year, the Philippines’ foreign policy has completely changed direction.
President Marcos has changed President Duterte’s policy of befriending China and instead has gone back to being close with the United States. He is also speaking out loudly about China’s encroachments into Manila’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
There is additional information available. Sources in Manila say that the Philippines has been transporting more than just food and water to the Sierra Madre during resupply runs. They say it has secretly been sending building supplies like cement and scaffolding. The goal is to fix the decaying ship.
ColPowell says it is difficult to see how they could make the ship last longer. I believe we are reaching a critical situation. The Sierra Madre is going to end soon. It could end very soon.
Maybe it is this new feeling of being in a hurry that is making both Manila and Beijing more forceful. Beijing is showing its strength again and is determined to destroy the Sierra Madre.
But if the Sierra Madre finally falls into the aquamarine waters of the South China Sea – or West Philippine Sea in Manila – what happens next.
Will Beijing come and try to take control of the reef like it has done in other parts of the South China Sea. Will Manila try to bring another ship to rest on Ayungin Shoal. And how will Washington respond.
No one knows, but that day may come sooner than expected. -

I am the King of Afrobeats – Davido brags
Renowned Nigerian afrobeat sensation, Davido, has shed light on why many people consider him as the ‘King of Afrobeats’ worldwide.
The DMW Boss shared this insight during a candid interview with ABC News, where he illustrated the global appeal and recognition of the Afrobeats genre.
According to Davido, being proclaimed as the “King of Afrobeats” “Is a taste of hard-earned glory, a sweet fruit of patience, and a journey that began during my salad days.”
When asked about his music and lifestyle, the “Unavailable” Crooner noted that while majority of his songs march to the pulse of African culture, his lifestyle and passion for partying coincide with Western feelings.
Davido explained that during his formative years, he was deeply influenced by Nigerian music pioneers like 2face, Psquare, and D’banj. Simultaneously, he enjoyed the music of American rappers such as 50 Cent, Ja Rule, Nelly, and Ludacris.
However, the pivotal moment came during his college years when he made the life-altering choice to return to his roots in Nigeria and become a part of the emerging Afrobeats movement.

Pro-Israel demonstration demands hostages’ release
A group of people who support Israel are holding a demonstration to ask for the safe return of hostages from Gaza.
People in London’s Trafalgar Square are protesting and showing pictures of people who are missing. They are also saying the names of these missing people from the steps of the National Gallery.
There were a lot of police officers in the square, making it very safe. This information was reported by a BBC journalist who was there.
A lot of people in the crowd were shouting “bring them back” and holding signs that said “let the hostages go”.
This happened the day after demonstrations supporting Palestine happened in cities all over the UK.
The flag of Israel was seen during the event. After some speeches from MPs and Jewish community leaders, there was a moment of silence and a group prayer.
The president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Marie van der Zyl, who was present, stated: “We need to show the world that these hostages were taken in a cruel and barbaric manner, and they must be set free. ”
The world needs to urge the people who can make a difference to free these innocent hostages who have gone through a lot of pain and suffering. We want the hostages to be able to go back home.
The Communities Secretary, Michael Gove, told Israel to remain strong and said that Britain supports Israel.
Speaking to the people protesting, he said: “It’s impossible to describe the pain of families who have watched their loved ones being brutally killed right before their eyes. There are also relatives who are hopeful that those who were peacefully living in their homes just two weeks ago and are now being held captive by Hamas will be released. ”
Before, families who were sad came together in Trafalgar Square to bring attention to the children who were taken away by Hamas.
Four moms in London arranged a special display. They put a stroller to represent each of the children who were missing.
Hamas, a terrorist group that is not allowed in the UK, US, and European Union, carried out a serious attack against innocent people in Israel on October 7th.
Over 1,400 people died when armed people broke into the Gaza barrier and attacked communities in southern Israel. Survivors said many terrible things happened, like torture and burning bodies. Over 200 individuals were brought to Gaza against their will.
Authorities in Gaza, which is controlled by the militant group Hamas, have reported that over the past two weeks, more than 4,600 individuals lost their lives as a result of airstrikes carried out by Israel in response to attacks from Gaza.
“It makes me very sad. ”
Protester Nivi was at the installation. She shared that her children were at a summer camp in Israel with one of the boys who is believed to be one of the hostages.
She said, “They showed pictures of the people who were taken captive, and my eight-year-old said, ‘Mommy, that’s Ohad. ” Ohad was with me when we were at camp.
“And he asked me, ‘Why is his picture there. And I had to explain to him, ‘Well, he’s one of the children that the mean people took away’, it’s really sad. ” -

Jewish and Palestinian Americans encounter prejudice and fear
The war between Israel and Hamas is causing problems all over the world. Palestinian and Jewish Americans are feeling more afraid because they are facing more threats and harassment.
Hundreds of people came together for a peaceful event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 13 October. However, things took a turn for the worse when a man with a gun started shouting offensive words about different races.
People ran in different directions, trying to save themselves, according to Omar Mussa. He was one of the people responsible for arranging the event supporting Palestine at the state Capitol’s stairs.
The 30-year-old Palestinian American said to the BBC that he came to the rally to make us feel afraid and scared. Don’t be afraid to meet with your friends and talk about your thoughts and beliefs.
The man accused of aiming a gun at a group of people and expressing hate towards Islam has been faced with charges of intimidating different ethnicities and making threats of terrorism.
The Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee said they have received lots of reports about hate incidents against Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim Americans. The Anti-Defamation League stated that there has been a significant rise in acts of hatred towards Jewish people, with 107 incidents reported since the conflict started on 7 October.
President Joe Biden expressed strong disapproval of the incidents and emphasized the importance of taking a stand against hate during a recent address in the Oval Office.
However, experts and leaders from both Jewish and Palestinian-American communities are concerned that this pattern will continue as the conflict in the Middle East carries on.
“We are preparing for a difficult and challenging situation – not just because of how intense the conflict is but also because it will last for a long time,” said Brian Levin, the person who started the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism.Bomb threats and stabbings
Many important and noticeable events have caused worry across the country.
A six-year-old boy from Palestine who lived in the United States was attacked and killed with a knife last week in a place called Plainfield, Illinois. His mother was also hurt badly. It is said that their landlord singled out the couple because of their religion and the ongoing fighting between Hamas and Israel.
A man in Lombard, Illinois, around 30 miles away, was charged with hate crimes last week. He apparently threatened to shoot two Muslim men.
In New York City, the police report that a man hit a woman in the face in the subway just because she was Jewish. In Utah, some Jewish groups have said they got scary messages.
Sam Spector, a religious leader in Salt Lake City, had been leading a gathering for about an hour on October 8th when he had to abruptly stop due to a threat of a bomb.
MrSpector explained the frightening message that said, “We placed explosives in all Jewish facilities in Utah. ” “It says they will explode soon – you all deserve to die,” the message stated.
Many people had to leave the building, including 20 children in a nearby room.
This was not the first time the congregation at Mr. Spector’s workplace has received a bomb threat. But since the war started this month, he said he has gotten more mean and hateful messages about Jewish people than he has ever gotten before.
He said that people unfairly blame the Jewish and Muslim communities in America for their own strong opinions, even though these communities are just regular people trying to live their lives.“Enjoy life to the fullest and be cautious. ”
Some Americans are being careful about what they do each day because they are worried about their safety.
Last week, a man from Texas sent Mohammad Abd-Elsalam a message threatening to kill all Palestinians, saying they all deserve to die.
The leader of the Palestinian American Organizations Network, Mr. Abd-Elsalam, said he has started staying away from crowded areas and has told his family to do the same.
“Mr Abd-Elsalam said it’s a lot to handle. ” “You may not know how to handle the war in Gaza, but you also need to worry about your safety here and the safety of our community in the United States. ”
Rabbi Spector has increased security at his synagogue recently. They are also planning to spend almost $500,000 to make the temple safer in the coming years.
However, Jewish individuals all over the country are wondering if it’s secure to go to their religious gatherings, according to Niv Elis from the Jewish Federations of North America.
“Right now, he told the BBC that our recommendation is for you to embrace your Jewish lifestyle wholeheartedly and to be cautious. ”
Mr Mussa said that because of increased tensions in the Middle East, there are threats against Palestinians and other Muslim groups. Some people see the entire Muslim community as one group, which is incorrect.
He said that people who wear religious coverings like a hijab are usually the ones who can be easily harmed or taken advantage of.
“He said that people who resemble a minority or who appear to be from another country are singled out. ” “More people are very afraid to walk outside now. ”Tension that has existed for a long time.
Both Muslims and Jews in the US have experienced discrimination and threats for a long time. But some experts have stated that hate crimes often increase when there are conflicts and tensions occurring in the Middle East.
Jessica Winegar, a teacher who studies people and cultures in the Middle East at Northwestern University, said that the ongoing fighting in Gaza is particularly difficult and tense.
She said that we have never witnessed so much killing in such a brief period. “This conflict has become even more intense. ”
Experts say that the divided nature of American politics made the situation even worse.
The argument about the complicated and ongoing conflict in the Middle East is causing disagreement between the left and right sides of politics in the US. Those who have extreme beliefs are more likely to angrily blame someone else for it.
Ms Winegar said that government officials and local leaders must speak out against hate and show support for innocent people on both sides of the conflict.
Mr Mussa, a Palestinian-American who attended a rally at Pennsylvania’s state Capitol, said that he protested and also expressed his disagreement with Israel’s policies. However, he thinks that the political establishment pays little attention to the suffering of Palestinian civilians, and this has consequences in the US as well.
“This is making people in this country feel empowered to treat us poorly, not see us as equals or Americans,” Mr. Mussa said in an interview with the BBC.
President Biden promised to strongly support Israel after the Hamas attack. He also asked Congress to give an extra $14 billion in aid to Israel. However, he expressed sympathy for the Palestinians who lost their lives in Gaza.
We feel sad for every innocent person who died. “He said that we must not overlook the fact that innocent Palestinians, who simply desire a peaceful life and opportunities, also have basic human needs. ”
And he also understood that the anger in Israel and Gaza can lead to hate crimes in the US, affecting both Jews and Muslims.
And to all of you who are suffering. I wanted to let you know I recognize your pain. You are included. And I want to tell you this: You are all America. -

New President of Maldives wants India to leave his country
“We do not want any foreign military forces to be present in the Maldives. I made a promise to the people of the Maldives, and I will keep that promise right from the start. ”
Dr Mohamed Muizzu, who recently won the election to become the president of Maldives, is quickly requesting India to remove its soldiers from the country.
The person who will become president soon had a talk with the Indian ambassador after winning the election. He told the ambassador that he wants all Indian soldiers to leave.
The Maldives has been strongly influenced by India for a long time. Mr Muizzu’s demand is likely to cause problems in the relationship between Malé and Delhi.
When Mr Muizzu became the president of Maldives, it was seen as a disadvantage for India. This is because his opponent, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, had improved the relationship between their country and Delhi since he became the president in 2018.
The group supporting Mr Muizzu depicted this bond, which is strengthened by Mr Solih’s focus on India, as a danger to the independence and safety of the Maldives.
Mr Muizzu’s alliance wants a stronger relationship with China. China has given a lot of money to the Maldives for building things and helping the country grow.
India wants to have a presence in the islands that are strategically situated because it allows them to keep an eye on an important area of the Indian Ocean. As part of this, India has given around $2 billion in aid to help develop the country.
If the soldiers have to go away, it will be bad for Delhi. But a lot of anger about the “presents” that Delhi gave to the Maldives – two helicopters they received in 2010 and 2013 and a small airplane in 2020 – has made the “India out” movement much stronger.
Delhi mentioned that the vehicles would be used for finding and saving people in emergencies and for moving sick or injured people to hospitals.
In 2021, the Maldivian defense force stated that around 75 Indian military members were in the country to operate and take care of the Indian planes. This made people become suspicious and angry because they thought that the reconnaissance planes were being used as an excuse to send Indian soldiers to the area.
Mr Muizzu also says that having these troops in the Maldives might make the country vulnerable, particularly as tensions between India and China get worse along their border in the Himalayan region.
“Maldives is too tiny to become involved in this worldwide struggle for power. ” “He said we won’t get involved in this. ”
In an interview with the BBC before the presidential election, the current president Mr Solih stated that concerns regarding the Indian troops were blown out of proportion.
There are no soldiers from other countries currently based in the Maldives. “He said that the Indian people in the country are following the orders of the Maldives National Defence Force. ”
However, it is not only the airplane. Muizzu expressed his desire to examine all the agreements that the Maldives has made with India in the past few years.
We are not aware of what is inside. Even in Parliament, some of the Members of Parliament (MPs) admitted that they did not know what is contained within the material being discussed during the debates. “I am confident that we will figure it out,” he stated.
Shortly after winning, people noticed that the Chinese ambassador in Malé was fast to congratulate Mr Muizzu.
The President of China, Xi Jinping, also spoke about this. He said he values the relationship between our countries and is willing to work with President-elect Muizzu to strengthen our friendship and work together on practical projects.
Mr Muizzu thinks Chinese infrastructure projects in the Maldives are really good. He says that these investments have changed Malé city and helped the people who live there.
However, he said he is not supporting China and instead supports India unlike Mr.
I strongly support the Maldives. He said Maldives is the most important to him, and our freedom is also very important. “I have no positive or negative stance towards any country. ”
However, his opposition team includes the party of a former president, Abdulla Yameen, who played an important role in bringing the Maldives closer to China.
When India and Western lenders refused to give loans to Yameen’s government because of claims of human rights abuses, Yameen, who is now in prison for corruption, asked Beijing for money and they gave it to him without any rules or requirements.
After that, he became a part of President Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative – a plan to create transportation connections (like roads, railways, and sea routes) between China and other countries.
Mr Muizzu was seen as a substitute for Yameen, who was not allowed to participate in the election.
Right after his election victory, Mr. Muizzu requested the current government to transfer Yameen from a highly secure prison to being confined at his house in the capital, Male.
However, since Yameen has a difficult and stressed relationship with Delhi, it might be challenging for Mr. Muizzu’s new partnership to maintain a good relationship with India.
Mr Muizzu seems eager to step out of Yameen’s influence and is ready to take a new direction in both domestic and foreign affairs of the country.
Because he won by a large margin, he might not encounter much opposition from within his group, at least at first.
He seems determined to distance the Maldives from India’s influence, but his first major challenge might be persuading Delhi to remove its troops. -

High taxes are killing our businesses – Ghana Hotels Association
The Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) has expressed deep concern regarding the recent increases in utility tariffs, taxes, and levies, asserting that these measures are severely debilitating the hospitality industry.
In light of the substantial losses the hospitality sector endured due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government’s imposition of significant taxes, especially property rates, has exacerbated its challenges rather than facilitating a faster recovery, according to the Association.
The immediate past Central Regional Chairman of the GHA, Mr Isaac Nkoom, said the property rate regime currently being implemented by the Ghana Revenue Authority had become a “killer to the sector’s rebound.”
“How could a facility that pays a property rate of GH¢700 suddenly rise to GH¢20,000 or from GH¢1,800 to GH¢50,000? We are not against the increase and the collection by GRA, but we are against the astronomical increases killing our businesses,” he said.
“We do not know how they arrived at those sharp increases and, as far as we remain stakeholders, we expected some consultations on operational modalities before implementation.”
“This must certainly change for our mutual gain. The entire arrangement appears we are being punished for owing businesses because the rates do not reflect the reality of our business.”
Mr. Nkoom delivered these remarks during the Fourth National Executive Council Meeting of the GHA, which took place at the Elmina Beach Hotel on Friday. The event was centered around the theme “Sustaining the Hotel Industry in Ghana – Post-COVID-19 Pandemic.”
This gathering brought together national and regional executives of the GHA, as well as key stakeholders such as metropolitan, municipal, and district assemblies, the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Ghana National Fire Service, and the Food and Drugs Authority. The primary focus was to engage in discussions concerning the challenges affecting the industry and explore the most effective ways to address them.
Mr. Nkoom further highlighted that these challenges had been compounded by the presence of numerous, overlapping taxes and levies, amounting to as many as 20, which were severely hindering the sector’s growth.
“These include the NHIL, VAT, GETfund, COVID-19 levy, GTA levy, EPA Levy, FDA levy, MMDAs levy, Fire Service levy, and one percent tourism levy.”
“Others are SSNIT for staff, data protection levy, property rates, suitability report levy, and GHAMRO levy, which were all contributing to the pricing mechanisms.”
Mr. Nkoom expressed deep regret at the significant burden imposed by these taxes on industry operators. He emphasized that the GHA had little choice but to fulfill all tax obligations, alongside covering maintenance costs, utility expenses, and staff salaries.
In light of the hotel industry’s gradual decline in patronage due to economic challenges, he urged the government to consider reducing VAT charges to prevent the sector from coming to a standstill.
In addition, he appealed to the government to reduce regulatory fees paid by hotels, aiming to mitigate the potential impact on job losses and the overall sustainability of businesses within the industry.
Furthermore, Mr. Nkoom called upon hotel owners who have not yet registered with the Association to do so. This, he emphasized, would facilitate a united front and collaborative efforts in regulating their activities, ultimately enhancing operational standards and performance.
The Central Regional Director of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr. Kwame Gyasi, offered advice to hotel operators, emphasizing the importance of investing in customer service to foster the growth of the country’s tourism industry. Despite Ghana’s reputation as a hospitable destination over the years, he observed that many hotels still faced challenges related to customer service.
“So I want to urge management to take service delivery as critical and add value to the services rendered by organising a lot of training, do right recruitment and coordination with other agencies and institutions in the value-chain.”
“We share your pain, we understand your challenges and we are with you in these difficult moments as we work for the best solutions.”

Kenyan police arrest pro-Palestine demonstrators
Kenyan police have set free three individuals who were detained for attending a meeting in Nairobi supporting Palestine.
The three people were released on Sunday without being accused of any wrongdoing. This happened because many Kenyans, politicians, and human rights groups criticized their arrest.
They said they were having a “meeting to show support and unity”.
Kenyan Member of Parliament Yusuf Hassan strongly criticized the arrests.
Irũngũ Houghton, who leads Amnesty International in Kenya, said that the disturbance of the meeting was against the law and very troubling.
The Kenya Palestinian Solidarity Committee arranged it after the police stopped a previous protest the group planned outside the US embassy.
President William Ruto has said his government fully backs Israel in the current conflict. -

China investigates iPhone manufacturer in Taiwan
China is looking into Foxconn, a company that manufactures iPhones in Taiwan, according to Chinese state media.
According to the Global Times, who did not reveal their names, officials checked the taxes of Foxconn companies in two provinces in China.
Foxconn will work together with the investigation.
The company is the biggest producer of iPhones for Apple and is one of the largest employers globally.
The Global Times reported that China’s department responsible for natural resources visited and inspected the land use of important Foxconn businesses in Henan and Hubei provinces.
The company Foxconn says that following the laws in every country where they operate is very important to them.
“We will work together and assist other groups in the tasks and operations,” it stated.
Terry Gou, the person who started Foxconn, is now running for president in Taiwan on his own, without the support of any political party. The election is scheduled to happen in January.
As Beijing has become more forceful in claiming power over the self-governed island, presidential candidates are sharing their different ideas on how to react.
Mr Gou has established himself as a different option compared to the current Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). He gained this position because of his many years of working in China. The DPP is viewed as unfriendly towards Beijing.
However, he said he was not afraid of China when he announced his intention to run for office. He explained that if the Chinese Communist party threatened to take away his assets from Foxconn if he didn’t obey them, he would actually welcome it.
He quit being on Foxconn’s board in September when he said he was going to run for president. He gave control of the company to someone else in 2019 when he said he wanted to be president, but he still owns 12. 5%
At that time, he belonged to a big political party in Taiwan called the Kuomintang (KMT). The KMT is known for having friendly relations with Beijing.
The Global Times said that in Taiwan, some people think that Foxconn is being looked into because its boss, Mr. Gou, is running for president.
But the government newspaper also said that Chinese experts believe the investigation is normal and legal, because all companies have to go through tax inspections.
The Global Times mentioned experts who think that the investigation might affect the elections. If the people who want Taiwan to separate from China win the elections, it would be very bad for the peace and stability of the area. Chinese people from both sides, including those in business, should join forces to avoid this disaster.
Beijing says countries can’t be friends with both China and Taiwan, so Taiwan only has a few countries it can officially be friends with. The US is Taiwan’s biggest supporter, even though it only has formal diplomatic relations with China.
Some people think that China is investigating Apple as a way to retaliate against the US for imposing sanctions on them.
Rachel Winter, an investment partner at Killik & Co, told the BBC’s Today program that it seems like this could be a response to the sanctions imposed by the US.
The US has put many restrictions on China to try and reduce their technological power, and it seems like by targeting Foxconn, they will also be hurting Apple, which is one of the most successful American companies. -

Tanzania signs contentious port agreement with UAE company
Tanzania made an agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to manage their port for 30 years. Some people didn’t support this agreement, but it was still signed.
DP World, a company from Dubai, will be in charge of managing four areas at Dar es Salaam, which is Tanzania’s biggest port.
The company from the UAE and the Tanzania Ports Authority will work together to manage three additional areas for ships to dock at the port.
DP World will invest $250m (£205m) to improve the infrastructure of the port in the next five years.
Many people are criticizing the deal because they believe it benefits the company from the United Arab Emirates more than Tanzania.
According to Amnesty International, the government has arrested over 22 people who are against the agreement. However, a few of them have been released.
Tanzanian officials are saying that this agreement does not cover all activities happening at the ports in the country and they can cancel the contracts whenever they think it is needed.
The country in East Africa wants to increase the money it earns and improve how things work with the new agreement. -

Ghanaians have a short memory span, they easily forget new songs – Sefa
Ghanaian female artist Sefadzi Abena Amesu, known in the showbiz industry as Sefa, has highlighted some challenges faced by Ghanaian artists in terms of meeting the demands of their fans for new music.
As a signee of Black Avenue Muzik, Sefa pointed out that Ghanaians tend to place pressure on artists to produce new songs even when they have not fully absorbed or enjoyed the previously released tracks. She stressed that Ghanaians have a relatively short attention span, often moving on quickly to new music, thus prompting artists to continually release new material.
Sefa further explained that this practice exerts pressure on artists, compelling them to release numerous songs that may soon be forgotten by the audience.
During an engagement on TV3’s Ladies Circle, she said, “With me, because I like enjoying my passion, I want people to enjoy it too. In as much as this is my profession now, I want people to listen to the songs and be like ‘okay she has put out a song so let me consume’.
“Ghanaians have a short memory span. If you release a song today, They can forget it in two weeks and they will be pressuring you for a new one. If you follow them, you will release like thousand songs and they will not know one.
Her statement sparked reactions from netizens. Some agreed with her while others stated reasons why Ghanaians consume songs for a shorter period.
Below are some reactions from Ghanaians:
“Sis please ah don’t have any short memory.. if the song is nice, we will listen to it forever. I have been listening to Daddy Lumba and the rest for years now and you can’t compare your songs to theirs”.
“Some Ghanaians or Ghanaians? Madam, those pressuring you are the reason why you should do good. Please don’t miss the point”.
“But Mahama said it, that we have a short memory and it’s true”

Kenyan president downgrades El Nio warning, citing met office
The Kenyan President, William Ruto, said that the country will not have heavy rainfall called El Niño, which was predicted. He mentioned that this was according to a forecast made by Kenya’s weather department.
The weather department has announced that there will not be an El Niño. Ruto said on Sunday that we will have strong rains, but they will not become very destructive.
He encouraged Kenyans to take advantage of the prediction of lots of rain and grow more food to make sure the country has enough to eat.
El Niño is a weather event that happens when the ocean water in the eastern Pacific gets warmer than usual by about 0. 5C This ultimately makes the air become wetter and warmer by releasing more heat into the atmosphere.
Experts had said that Kenya and other East African countries could get a lot of rain because of El Niño starting in mid-October.
The government of Kenya is warning that heavy rain could cause flooding, damage to buildings, and potentially lead to deaths. As a precaution, the military has been put on standby to help in case of any emergencies.
Kenya had heavy El Niño rains in 1997 that caused a lot of damage, particularly to the roads. -

Tiwa Savage still portrays me as a “superman” to our child – Ex-husband
Music executive and Tiwa Savage‘s estranged husband, Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun has expressed admiration for her for not portraying him as an absentee father to their eight-year-old son, Jamal. He has noted that even during times when he might struggle with child support, Tiwa Savage still portrays him as a “superman” to their child.
Teebillz has expressed gratitude and considers himself fortunate in light of the challenges that other men in similar circumstances often face when dealing with their ex-partners and children.
Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote, “When I see what other men goes through! I can’t help but count my blessings! 4ever grateful to Mama J for making my relationship so soft with love…..! Even when I can’t afford….. She still presents me as a superman to my twin, Being a single mom is heck of a job……! Grateful & Blessed Titi…H Highly appreciative.”
It will be recalled that Teebillz and Tiwa Savage were married on November 23, 2013. Their son, Jamal, was born in 2015. However, they officially separated in 2018 amid allegations of infidelity and drug addiction, which were raised by both parties.
