Police have detained seven members of a group ofphysician assistants who were picketing about their pending postings.
They have been taken to the Regional Police Command for breaching an earlier agreement over their mode of picketing.
Reports indicate that the Physician Assistants flouted the original agreement with the police which was to converge outside the Accra Sports Stadium and not to picket at the Ministry of Health.
“We were waiting to have some form of negotiations with leaders of the Ministry. So we were waiting to be called when one of the Police Officers came and asked if I am one of the leaders and I said No, and they called the other names and said the police command wants to see them at the Police station,” Stephen Conduah explained to Citi News.
According to the group, there have been delays in processes by the Ministry of Health to ensure that they are posted to health centres across the country.
Years after years, physician assistants who graduate from various health institutions have called on authorities to post them after school, but it seems their demands have always fallen on deaf ears.
They have at times protested to further drum home their demands.

Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, has revealed why he allegedly killed his “lover” Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa in Adum-Kumasi.
Per reports, he has admitted to shooting her because she owed him GHS5,000.
This was contained in the prosecution document as read in open court on Tuesday, April 25.
It was an emotional day at the Asokore Mampong District Court as police needed reinforcement to escort Inspector Ahmed Twumasi from the premises.

Inspector Twumasi has been charged with murder.
It was also revealed in court that the accused used a service pistol tocommitthe crime.
Asked by the judge whether he has anything to say, despite not allowing him to plead guilty or not, Inspector Twumasi said: “I have no intention to commit the crime; what happened is between me and God.”
He has been remanded into police custody to reappear on Tuesday, May 30.
In an open field, what first seemed to be a burning mannequin was actually a dead human.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, police were called to the 1100 block of Will Scarlett Avenue, which is behind a residential neighborhood in Ruskin, Florida, shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday.
A 911 caller reported seeing what appeared to be a flaming mannequin while driving near.
County rescue crews responded to the scene and put out the fames, and at that point determined that it was not a mannequin, but rather a dead person.

‘At this time, our deputies are doing everything they can to determine what happened to this person.’
The victim sustained upper body trauma and could not be immediately identified due to the severity of the burns, according to the sheriff’s office.
The incident is under investigation as a homicide by the sheriff’s office.
No information on a possible suspect has been publicly released.
‘We do believe this is an isolated incident,’ Chronister stated, ‘And we will continue to work tirelessly until we determine how this horrific crime occurred.’
Ruskin is an unincorporated census-designated place over 20 miles south of Tampa.
The incident ended much more tragically than another scene in March near Swayfield in Lincolnshire in the UK. A concerned train passenger sounded an alarm after seeing what looked like a corpse or very ill person in a field.
‘Several officers including a drone pilot from Boston rushed to the fields in the locality to carry out a search,’ stated a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson.
‘However it was one of our finest, a real life farming Special Constable, who found the tragic scarecrow just asleep on the job.

Themilitary shouldn’t be a part of the primary security taskforce for the 2024 general elections, according to security analyst Dr. Adam Bonaa.
He said they should just be on standby for support if need be.
“They should not be part of the core tasksforce for the elections, they should be on standby,” he said on the Big Issue on TV3 Tuesday April 18.
Dr Bonaa was commenting on the meeting that the Police held with the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday.
The meeting which was called at the instance of the Inspector-General of Police was necessitated by press statements issued by the parties and subsequently followed by petitions to the Police Service with each party calling on the Police to arrest certain individuals of the other side for some alleged offences.
At the meeting, both parties were given the opportunity to air their grievances.
The main issue raised by them was in respect to comments by some political actors from both sides of the divide considered to be inflammatory.
The Police told the leadership of NDC and the NPP not to interfere with their job.
The Police said in a statement after a meeting with the leadership of the two parties that they “should do their politics and allow the Police to do policing. We therefore called on them to support us including by criticising us constructively to do a professional job in line with our constitutional mandate.
As we commend the leadership of the two political parties for availing themselves and contributing to the success of the meeting, we would like to call on Ghanaians to help us in our effort to build an independent Police service which will serve the greater good of the Ghanaian people and not the interest of any individual or group of people.
“Once again, we wish to assure the public that we remain committed to ensuring peace, security, law and order in the country at all times including before, during and after all elections in the country,” the statement said.
The blatant murder of a former politician and his brother in front of live television cameras while they were being held by the police has reignited resentment about the hazy border between politics and crime in the state with the most population.
Despite having a population of more than 240 million, Uttar Pradesh has long been one of India’s poorest states due to a reputation for organized crime and corruption.
However, what happened on Saturday was very alarming and has India’s attention.
Atiq Ahmed, a former lawmaker and convicted criminal, was gunned down alongside his brother Ashraf at point blank range by at least one gunman who posed as a journalist in an incident that was broadcast live.
A former Samajwadi Party member of India’s parliament, Atiq was convicted of kidnapping and sentenced to life in prison last month following a long dual career as both a politician and a mainstay of Uttar Pradesh’s criminal underworld.
The murder in the city of Prayagraj took place while police were escorting the pair for a medical check-up, the state’s Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma told reporters.
Dramatic footage showed the two handcuffed brothers surrounded by a press gaggle as a gunman fired multiple shots.
Three people who were posing as journalists at the time have been arrested for questioning, Sharma added.
The extrajudicial killing has sparked widespread concern about the state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh as well as fears of retaliation.
Gilles Verniers, a political science professor at Ashoka University in New Delhi, whose research has focused on electoral and party politics in Uttar Pradesh, told CNN Saturday’s incident represents “a break-down of the very concept of the rule of law.”
“The larger significance is what this means for the rule of law and the transformation of the meaning of the rule of law from a system of justice that is supposed to follow due process and be impartial and not be arbitrary into a form of self justice in the hand of the executive that is fundamentally arbitrary, violent and partisan,” Verniers said.
Following the incident, internet services were temporarily suspended across the city of Prayagraj, also known as Allahabad.
Internet shutdowns have become increasingly common in India, including as recently as last month when authorities blocked access to the internet in Punjab for days as police searched for a Sikh activist who was on the run.
The government has repeatedly attempted to justify blocking internet access on the grounds of preserving public safety amid fears of communal violence. But critics say the shutdowns are yet another blow to the country’s commitment to freedom of speech and access to information.
Long before he was a politician, Atiq was known for his criminal underworld links, a duality that is not uncommon in the rough and tumble of Uttar Pradesh’s political scene.
At the age of just 17, Atiq was accused of murder. A decade later, he was elected as a member of Uttar Pradesh’s legislative assembly where he served five times, from 1989 to 2004. He also served as a member of India’s national parliament from 2004 to 2009.
“He used politics to his own advantage to further not only his political career but also his criminal estate and criminal activities,” said Vikram Singh, formerly the Director General of Police in Uttar Pradesh who had several dealings with Atiq, including arresting him under the Gangsters Act in 2007.
He came from humble beginnings, as the son of a horse cart driver, and rose to be “something akin to the godfather,” Singh told CNN, adding that the list of crimes Atiq had been accused of throughout his life ranged from murder and robbery to extortion and land grabs.
In March, Atiq was sentenced to life in prison for the 2006 kidnapping of Umesh Pal, the prime witness in a 2005 murder case for which Atiq was himself the main suspect, CNN affiliate News18 reported.
Atiq’s death came a week after police shot and killed his son Asad. Asad was the main suspect in the February murder of Umesh Pal – the man Atiq was convicted of kidnapping, Reuters reported.
Police in Uttar Pradesh have killed more than 180 suspected criminals during encounters over past six years, according to Reuters.
Questions have been raised as to whether police gave adequate security to the two brothers who were surrounded by reporters.
Atiq and his brother were being escorted by police for what Singh said was a routine medical check-up when they were shot.
“The police security should have been fool proof and fail proof which it was not,” Singh said. “The shoot out that happened is unacceptable.”
CNN reached out to Uttar Pradesh police for comment on the situation but did not receive a response prior to publication.
Following the incident, the Uttar Pradesh state government announced it will form two three-member Special Task Forces (SIT) to investigate the killing of Atiq and his brother.
But the murders have raised questions about the governance of Uttar Pradesh, particularly from opponents of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party which currently holds political power in the state.
Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal state and president of the Trinamool Congress Party, claimed in a tweet Sunday that the incident illustrated a “total collapse of law and order in Uttar Pradesh.”
Mahua Moitra, a member of parliament with the Trinamool Congress Party who has vocally criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past, tweeted that the “BJP has turned India into a mafia republic.”
Noting that the two brothers had been shot dead “in front of a zillion policemen and cameras” she declared “this is the death of the rule of law.”
The state’s former chief minister, the Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav, suggested the death of his former party member prompted concerns about public safety under BJP rule.
“When someone can be killed by firing openly amidst the security cordon of the police, then what about the safety of the general public,” Yadav tweeted.
Mayawati of the Bahujan Samaj Party, who also previously served as the state’s chief minister, said the shooting gave way to “serious question marks” over the functioning of the government, headed by the BJP’s Yogi Adityanath.
Responding to allegations about the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath said people should “not pay heed to rumors.”
Meanwhile India’s Minister of Information Anurag Thakur suggested opposition party criticism of the attack was also hypocritical.
“These same mafia leaders used to attack common people, kill and loot them,” he told reporters. “Never heard any of these politicians speaking against it.”
The family of the late Albert Donkor has allegedly been briefed by the Police on its investigations into whether the deceased was indeed an armed robber or not.
According to reports from Daily Guide Network, the Police confirmed that the 27-year-old was indeed part of a robbery gang that engaged in a shootout with police officers on April 25, 2022.
The media house refers its information to a police statement sighted.
The Nkoranza District patrol team, on board Service Vehicle No GP 226, the report went on, “was dispatched to the robbery scene and arrived at the scene around 1:00am.”
The robbers opened fire at the police, who returned fire in the course of which a Police Service vehicle was damaged, the statement explained.
The robbers, the report went on, “fled the scene into a nearby bush and were pursued by the police team.”
A subsequent search in the bush led to the discovery of BB cartridges and some mobile phones that were retrieved as exhibits in the investigation.
At the scene of the robbery, police identified the victims and escorted them to the police station to assist in the investigation.
The police put it out categorically that “analysis of the deceased Call Data Records [CDR] established that the deceased was at the scene of robbery on April 25, 2022.”
One of the victims of the robbery, the police stated, also identified the deceased at the Nkoranza Police Station as one of the robbers who attacked them.
The deceased had also admitted to the robbery after he was identified by one of the victims, the police said.
Forensic Investigation
Forensic investigation, according to the police established that the ITEL mobile phone retrieved at the robbery scene belonged to the deceased.
An examination of the ITEL W6004 A56 mobile phone, according to the police revealed the following;
A picture of the deceased’s Voters’ ID card.
A picture of a Rugger pistol with serial number 310-23294 taken by the deceased himself with the weapon in his hands taken at 1:23am on August 15, 2021.
The forensic analysis [DNA] of the grey-like hoodie retrieved in the course of the investigation has confirmed that the hoodie belonged to the deceased.
The deceased, according to the police, led them to the hideout of his accomplices where they came under fire.
The deceased was found with gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
PPSB Investigation
Investigation by the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) into the incident revealed that despite the suspect’s involvement in the robbery, on hindsight, if the police officers who took the deceased to the hideout of his accomplices had acted a little more professionally, they might have been better able to protect him from the gunshots that led to his death.
The Attorney General, after a study of the case docket, has advised that police intensify their effort in apprehending the deceased’s accomplices to face justice.
Attack on Nkoranza Police
It will be recalled that when news of the death of Albert Donkor was announced to the family, some youth of Nkoranza, numbering about 400, armed with stones, clubs and other offensive implements, converged on the road in front of the Nkoranza District Police Headquarters on May 17, 2022 and started burning lorry tyres and wood on the road and also blocked movement of traffic and pedestrians, the police stated.
The mob forcibly entered the charge office, broke into the cells and freed all the suspects in custody.
During the course of the protest, they also caused damage to the following;

The mob also made away with two mobile phones and an unspecified amount of money from the charge office.
A police reinforcement team responded to the incident and successfully restored law, order and security.
On the same day, eight of the irate mob, namely Stephen Baffoe, Augustine Duodu, Eric Appiah, Iddrisu Ishmael, Rockson Donyina, Philemon Yaw, Raymond Agyei and Victor Kwadwo Owusu who sustained injuries were sent to St. Theresa’s Hospital, Nkoranza for treatment.
Unfortunately, one of the eight suspects, Victor Kwadwo Owusu was pronounced dead at the hospital. The body of the deceased was deposited at the same hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police therefore initiated investigations and necessary arrangements were made with his family for the post-mortem to be conducted.
The family were given the option to either get an independent pathologist to conduct the autopsy or for the autopsy to be conducted by the police, and they agreed for the police to conduct the autopsy.
On June 6, 2022, the autopsy was conducted by a police pathologist in the presence of the father of the deceased, Mr. James Boamah and the investigator. The pathologist gave the verbal cause of death as severe head injury, fall and brain tumor. The pathologist again informed the family of the option to get a second opinion on the matter if they so wished.
Post-Mortem Report
On June 23, 2022, a copy of the written post-mortem report together with a copy of the coroner’s form were handed over to the deceased family.
However, the family expressed dissatisfaction at the outcome of the post-mortem examination and requested for a second opinion.
On November 27, 2022, the body was conveyed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for re-examination and on November 30, 2022, the deceased’s body was re-examined by an independent pathologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Police are yet to receive a copy of that post-mortem report.
The body has since been released to the family for burial.
The key finding of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Victor Owusu is that he died as a result of a head injury, fall and brain tumor and not as a result of a gunshot.
Police in Kenya are looking into the deaths of four people who may have been starved to death at the order of a controversial cult leader.
Pastor Makenzie Nthenge is alleged to have told his followers in the coastal area of Kilifi to starve themselves in the hope of getting to heaven quickly.
Following a tip-off, police found 15 seriously ill people on Thursday, but only 11 made it to hospital alive.
Police are also looking into reports of a mass grave in a nearby forest.
Last month Mr Nthenge was charged in connection with the deaths of two children whose parents had joined his Good News International Church.
He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. The current whereabouts of the pastor are not clear.
The identities of those who died on Thursday have not yet been established.
Some of the survivors, including a teenager, are currently in a critical condition having become so emaciated.
A security source told Kenya’s Nation Media group that those rescued from their homes were extremely unwell: “We found them in a very bad state, others fainted on the way to hospital.”
Police said they began their search for followers of the Good News International Church after receiving intelligence that “ignorant citizens” were “starving to death in pretext to meet Jesus after being brainwashed by a suspect”.
They were also warned about “a mass shallow grave of victims of that brainwashing totalling to 31 bodies in an unidentified place at Shakahola Forest”, the police statement said.

A “predator” who raped a 12-year-old in a restroom for the disabled at King‘s Cross Station has been sentenced to ten years in prison.
When he targeted the “extremely vulnerable” schoolgirl, Alvin Tuitt, 24, was already convicted of a “similar offence.”
Police praised the victim for her bravery in cooperating with their investigation and stated that “the impact this incident has had on the victim’s life cannot be measured.”
On October 10 of last year, Tuitt approached the girl at Maryland station in east London and the two struck up a conversation.
Tuitt let her borrow a power pack to charge her phone and paid for her onward train ticket before they travelled to King’s Cross on the same train.
When they arrived at the station, he took her to a disabled toilet where he raped her and then attempted to rape her again.
Later that day, the girl reported the sexual assault to police and Tuitt was arrested, charged and remanded within 24 hours of the attack.
Latest London news
Tuitt, from Lewisham, pleaded guilty to rape and attempted rape, and appeared for sentencing at Inner London Crown Court on April 11.
On top of 10 years in prison for rape, the paedophile was given a five-year extended sentence on licence.
The judge also sentenced him to eight years, which will run concurrently, for an additional count of attempted rape on the same girl.
He will be subjected to a life-long Sexual Harm Prevention Order and notification requirement for life.
Detective Constable Mark Pink said: ‘The victim in this case was 12-years-old and was extremely vulnerable.
‘She has been extremely brave in telling police what happened and providing testimony to assist the investigation.
‘The effect that this incident has had on her life and that of her family cannot be measured.
‘Tuitt is a predator with a previous conviction for a similar offence and he rightfully now faces a long time behind bars.’
Police have arrested a self-described tech entrepreneur over the fatal stabbing in San Francisco of Cash App founder Bob Lee.
The suspect is 38-year-old Nima Momeni from Emeryville, California. Mr Lee and Mr Momeni knew each other, police said.
According to a LinkedIn profile for Mr Momeni, he is a technology consultant and start-up owner.
Police found Mr Lee, 43, unconscious with stab wounds on 4 April near San Francisco’s city centre.
He died in hospital from his injuries.
In a news conference on Thursday, San Francisco Police Department chief William Scott announced Mr Momeni’s arrest.
Mr Scott said Mr Momeni had been charged with murder and was now in custody at the San Francisco County Jail.
He did not elaborate on how Mr Lee and the suspect knew each other.
He was caught drink driving in 2004, and in 2011 Mr Momeni was charged with a misdemeanour for carrying a switchblade, criminal records show, but the case was dismissed after he took a plea deal.
Mr Momeni’s LinkedIn says he is the owner of a company called Expand IT, Inc.
Neighbour Sam Singer told CBS News Bay Area that he never had a poor interaction with Mr Momeni except hearing him play music too loudly.
He said he was in “total shock” hearing about Mr Momeni’s arrest.
Prosecutors are seeking to hold Mr Momeni without bail. An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for Friday.
Mr Scott said the “case is not closed” despite the arrest, and an investigation is continuing into Mr Lee’s death.
Citing police sources, Mission Local reported Mr Lee and the suspect were in a vehicle together and had an altercation before Mr Lee was stabbed.
Police officers first responded to reports of the stabbing at about 02:35 local time (09:35 GMT) on 4 April.
The San Francisco Standard viewed CCTV footage that shows Mr Lee walking down a deserted alleyway, seemingly looking for help.
He is seen stumbling towards a parked car and lifting up his shirt to reveal his wound, but the vehicle drives off before the tech entrepreneur falls to the ground.
Police found Mr Lee unconscious in the Rincon Hill neighbourhood with two stab wounds to his chest and started to administer aid before rushing him to hospital.
He was the chief product officer of the cryptocurrency company MobileCoin.
Mr Lee is also credited with founding Cash App, a smartphone-based platform that allows person-to-person money transfers. The app is popular in the US and is worth $40b, according to Forbes.
His death garnered many tributes from figures in the US tech industry.
It also ignited criticism against authorities in San Francisco for their response to the city’s violent crime.
During Thursday’s news conference, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins addressed the criticism by saying that her office and police had “worked tirelessly” to solve Mr Lee’s case and others.
She also accused those who linked Mr Lee’s murder to overall safety in San Francisco of making “reckless and irresponsible” statements.
Ms Jenkins specifically mentioned Elon Musk by name, who tweeted after Mr Lee’s stabbing that “violent crime in San Francisco is horrific and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately”.
She said tweets such as his “assumed incorrect circumstances about Mr Lee’s death [and] served to mislead the world in their perceptions of San Francisco”.
Police statistics suggest San Francisco’s murder rate is fairly consistent. There were 56 murders last year and 56 the year before. The city seems on track for a similar homicide rate this year.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the city has unusually high rates of property crime, such as theft and burglary, but lower-than-average rates of violent crime compared with other US cities.

A man has been detained after smashing up 17 cars in one night, including with a police cruiser.
The 23-year-old guy is accused of tearing through the cars on nearby streets in West Bridgford, a commuter town in Nottinghamshire, early yesterday morning.
After learning that a vandal had been breaking windscreens and wing mirrors, police were summoned to Bryon Road at about 1:30 in the morning.
One of the damaged vehicles was a police car that was parked in front of West Bridgford Police Station and had its wing mirror damaged.
A front window of a Caffe Nero along the high street Central Avenue was also found shattered during the vandalism spree.
Police detained a suspect at nearby Trent Bridge on suspicion of criminal damage and remains in police custody.

Nottinghamshire Police said the vehicle-smashing rampage was ‘completely unacceptable’, with car owners taping cardboard boxes in makeshift repairs.
PC Chris Morgan said: ‘As many as 18 vehicles had their windscreens put through or their wing mirrors damaged during this incident.

Former President Donald Trumphas been back to New York City to answer questions regarding the $250 million civil case filed by the state attorney general accusing him and his business of fraud.

Angry youths have demonstrated at a police station in Sefwi Bekwai, Western North, to demand the release of Kwabena Gyapong, a 20-year-old motorized tricycle (Pragyia) rider police custody.
The rider reportedly headbutt a police officer to resist a search in the evening while riding to Sefwi Sorano but was overpowered by the Patrol team and sent to the Police station.
Upon hearing the incident, the youth mostly Pragyia riders mobilized to attack the police station with stones and clubs damaging a service vehicle.
It took the intervention of reinforcement team amid sporadic warning shots to bring the situation under control.
Two of the irate youth were injured in the process while four were arrested.
The Sefwi Bekwai District Police Command denied the injuries suffered by the victims were gunshot.
Nana Gyebi Father of the suspect Pragyia rider alleged his son was badly injured but instead of the police sending him to hospital they caged him at the cells.
Mr. Paul Andoh, the Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai Constituency1st vice chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on behalf of the MP for the area Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng, MP and other opinion leaders in the town visited the police station to help deescalate the tension.
Some officers of the Ghana Police Service are in hot chase for a gang of robbers who robbed a cash collection point at Anyinase near Essiama.
The incident happened on Tuesday on 11th April, 2023.
The robbers who were on motorbikes entered the premises of the cash collection point under the pretext of transacting business but later attacked the workers at gunpoint, took them hostage and made away with an amount of money.
“Police intelligence operations is ongoing to get the perpetrators arrested and we will surely get them,” a statement said.

Kwame Ato Asare Ani, one of the suspects involved in the Axim Police attack and currently on the run, has broken his silence over the incident which threatens his freedom.

The details of the incident are blur as per the police, a video footage that has come to its attention, showed its officers “pleading with members of the gang” while being accused of extortion.
Reacting to being a wanted man, Kwame Ato Asare Ani, stated that he is the victim in the story.
Speaking with UTV in the local parlance, he explained that the contention with the police officers started when he decided to withhold payment from the officers after taking delivery of GHC100,000 from some illegal miners.
This is because he collects monies from the galamsey operators in the area for the police in exchange for protection from criminals.
Ani stated that he was given GHC20,000, one-fifth of the total amount, therefore felt cheated.

According to the Police, a search conducted at the residence of Asare Ani led to the retrieval of three pump-action shotguns.
“Also, two machetes and eight BB refilled cartridges were retrieved from the suspect’s unregistered Honda CRV vehicle. Other items retrieved from the suspects include two live refilled BB cartridges and one unregistered motorbike,” the statement added.
A viral video on social media has documented how a group of young men attacked officers of the Axim Police Division patrol team on March 9, 2023.
In the video, a man who appears to be the leader of the group said the police officers failed to let them go after showing them the location of a certain site.
He also claimed that he had paid the police officers some amount of money when they met at a “site”. It is unknown what site is being referred to.
The group blocked the road with motorbikes to prevent the police car some of its members were in from moving. After that, they intimidated the officers, threatening to hit a female officer.

Just recently, Mrs. Effia Tenge led another campaign against substance abuse and school hooliganism across the Volta region.
She is regarded an astute communicator with an enviable working relationship with the media and the general public.
Her premature retirement has undoubtedly come as a shock.

She also referred to having “done stuff in a vehicle” and disclosed that Mr Athawes’ “radio was operating so frequently they were unable to have sex”, the panel heard.
The panel upheld allegations that Mr Athawes had breached the standards appropriate to the conduct of a police officer in respect of honesty and integrity, discreditable conduct, authority, respect and courtesy and duties and responsibilities.
It was found he had knowingly planned to collect Ms Krolewicz, who was off-duty, without a policing purpose, and then engaged in sexual encounters in a marked police vehicle with her whilst he was on duty.
He also falsely told his supervisor and crew mate he was on a medication run at the time, and so unavailable for response calls, the panel found.
Ms Krolewicz was found to have breached the standards appropriate to the conduct of a police officer in respect of discreditable conduct.
Following the two-day public hearing, the panel concluded both had breached the expected standards of professional behaviour.
The panel determined that had the officers still been serving, they would have been dismissed without notice.

According to evidence presented at an inquest, two young boys were found strangled at the same house where their mother’s body was also recovered.
On March 9, police broke into Nadja de Jager’s home in Belvedere, southeast London, and found the 47-year-old woman with her two kids, Maximus, 7, and Alexander, 9.
After worries about their welfare, they were discovered deceased at the location at around 11.50 am.
Post-mortem examinations revealed the boys’ provisional cause of death as ligature compression to the neck while their mother’s provisional cause of death was given as suspension- a medical term which includes hanging.

Alexander and Maximus were ‘model pupils’ and ‘each other’s best friend’, their school said at the time.
In a tribute, a spokesperson for Belvedere Infant and Junior School said: ‘Alex and Max were truly wonderful members of our school community and we will remember them with great fondness and love.
‘They were loving and caring boys who had a real hunger to learn.
‘Both were model pupils and it was clear that they were each other’s best friend.
‘They will be hugely missed by pupils and staff alike, and forever be part of our hearts at Belvedere.’
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
An inquest into all three deaths was opened and adjourned during a five-minute hearing at Croydon Coroner’s Court on this morning.
Senior coroner for South London, Sarah Ormond-Walshe, told the hearing: ‘There is a police investigation in relation to all three deaths. The proceedings in this case are essentially adjourned.’
It is likely to conclude in six months.
Once that has happened it will be decided whether a full inquest needs to take place.

On March 18, the Year 13 student at Oswestry School went tragically, shocking and upsetting her friends and teachers.
The 18-year-old girl was found in her hostel the following morning.

The spokesperson said: ‘It is with immense sadness that we confirm the tragic news that an 18-year-old Year 13 pupil from Oswestry School passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Saturday 18 March 2023.
‘This is an incredibly difficult time for the whole school and our thoughts and prayers are especially with her family.
‘Our priority is supporting our pupils and staff, and her family.
‘We respectfully ask for privacy and compassion for the family and the school community during this painful time.’
Oswestry School is classed as an ‘ancient’ school, having been founded in 1407 as a ‘free’ school as it was independent of the church.
This makes it the second-oldest ‘free’ school in the country.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: ‘At around 9.30am on Saturday 18 March following a call from West Midlands Ambulance Service police attended the Oswestry School in Upper Brook Street in Oswestry.
‘A pupil, an 18-year-old girl, died.
‘There is believed to be no third-party involvement and a report will be prepared for the coroner, who has been informed.’

Mr Otieno, who emigrated to the US from Kenya when he was four, was initially arrested on 3 March as the suspect in a possible burglary, a police news release said.

Before the alleged assault, there was a “disturbance or altercation,” according to detectives.
On Monday, March 20, soon after 6 a.m., Mr. Moraru was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, of the Metropolitan Police, said: ‘I would like to appeal to any witnesses who were in the area of Chandos Avenue and Whetstone High Street, N20 on Sunday, 19 March at approximately 10.30pm.

The Kenyan police has reported that 238 individuals had been detained during the violent anti-cost-of-living rallies on Monday that also left 31 police officers hurt.
Following a call from longtime opposition leader Raila Odinga, protesters joined rallies in Nairobi and other parts of Kenya on Monday.
It was the first major unrest since President William Ruto took office in September last year, narrowly beating Odinga in an election his rival claims was “stolen”.
Odinga had called for the day of action, blaming the government for the economic woes faced by Kenyans.
They are battling high prices for food and fuel, a plunging currency, and a record drought that has left millions hungry.
Police fired tear gas and water cannon against demonstrators, some of whom were hurling rocks and burning tyres, as well as against Odinga’s motorcade.
On Monday, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua urged the organisers to call off the “mayhem and the chaos,” saying the protests had cost Kenya about $15 million in lost business.
But Odinga has vowed no let-up the action, calling for protests and strikes to be held every Monday until the cost of living comes down.
On Tuesday, the situation had returned to calm in Nairobi.
A Police dispatch rider has unfortunately met his death on Monday, March 20 at Pokuase in the Ga North Municipality of Accra.
According to reports, L/Cpl. Mustapha Mohammed, was riding his motorcycle out of Ofankor in pursuit of aToyota Corolla.
As they got to Pokuase, the driver allegedly slowed down for the cop to get close and then slammed on the brakes, sending the officer flying and crushing him to death under a moving truck.
The driver of the Toyota vehicle reportedly sped off after the incident.
The police officer’s motorcycle was severely damaged, and his helmet was crushed by the truck, causing serious injury, which led to his untimely demise.
Unfortunately, details of the Toyota Corolla car involved in the chase are not yet available.
Meanwhile, the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service has disclosed that at least 1,443 lives were lost in road crashes between January and July 2022.
According to the MTTD, the police service received reports of 886 road crashes during the period. Speaking to Citi News after the launch of the GPRTU App, Director of Operations for MTTD, Supt. Dr. Samuel Sasu Mensah, noted that the number of road crashes could be reduced if motorists drove more cautiously.
“From January to July 2022, we had 886 cases reported to the police. Out of this, those who were killed were 1,443, and those who got injured were 9,218. However, we have seen a marginal decrease in both fatalities and injuries. So as we progress in the year, we hope that, through good practices by the drivers, the number of road crashes being recorded in the country will be reduced,” he said.
According to Angel FM reporter, Mubarak Yakubu, the driver of the Toyota vehicle he was pursuing immediately sped off after the incident.
The reporter said the motorbike of the police officer was badly mangled while his helmet was also crushed by the truck, which caused him head injury leading to his death.
Details of the car which the late officer was pursuing, are not available at the time of filing this report.
Three people were stabbed, according to Halifax, Nova Scotia police, in a Monday morning altercation at a high school.
Three people were hurt, according to a statement from Halifax Regional Police, and they were all taken to a hospital for treatment. Unknown is the degree of their wounds.
At around 9:31 a.m., police detained one person—a young person who attends the school.
Officers in Bedford, Nova Scotia, a suburb of Halifax, are still searching the school.
The school has been closed for the remainder of the day. Police and school board officials are working with school administration to safely release students and staff from the property.

In a brief speech to protesters lining up to greet him as he entered Nairobi on Monday, former prime minister and leader of the Kenyan opposition Raila Odinga called for weekly nationwide demonstrations against the high cost of living.

A rights advocacy organization has urged Mozambique to look into claims that police used tear gas to scatter people during the funeral of well-known artist Edson da Luz, also known as Azagaia.
Azagaia was a vehement opponent of the administration. He passed away last week at the age of 38 at his Maputo home.
Social media footage showed police firing tear gas on a procession of mourners as it headed towards the official residence of the president – an area off limits to pedestrians.

Pastor Bless Denutsi, a 50-year-old man, was discovered dead on his farm, just a few meters from Bonakye town, in a supine position with blood gushing from his nose and ears.
Emilia Denutsi, wife of the deceased narrating the sad news to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) during a visit to the scene said, the husband left home to the farm early hours of Wednesday, March 15, but failed to return as he usually does.
She narrated she became alarmed after all efforts to reach him proved futile.
