    Ghanaian dancehall god, Shatta Wale sparked rage in the heart of fans of other artiste after he proclaimed himself as the most original artiste with no competitor in Ghana.

    He described himself as an artiste whose type can never be found in Ghana. With referrence to the Shatta Movement empire and the investment made in the music industry and other franchises, the award winning reggae dancehall artiste believes to be the biggest and richest brand in Ghanaian music industry.

    He hinted on seeing some artiste steady walking in his footsteps whilst others try to imitate him to achieve greatness in the music business.

    Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has joined the many family and friends of Kofi Amoako popularly known as DJ Vyrusky of Starr FM who happens to be his personal DJ, to celebrate him today, April 21 to celebrate his new age.

  • Shatta Wale donates to James Camp Prisons

    Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale and his Shatta Movement team on Friday 17th April 2020 made a donation to the James Camp Prisons located at Roman Ridge in Accra.

    The assorted items donated by the team included food items (bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, sacks of sugar, boxes of spaghetti, boxes of frozen chicken wings, canned tomatoes), boxes of biscuits, laundry and bath soaps, boxes of toilet tissue, cartons of soft drinks, dental care kit and copies of the Odyssey of Shatta Wale book.

    The items were presented by Mr. Charles Mensah (Shatta Capo) on behalf of Shatta Wale, the multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician who doubles as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shatta Movement Music Production.

    Mr. Mensah highlighted that the recent donations to the various prisons around the country falls under the Shatta Supports initiative, a humanitarian drive to give back to society and particularly support the underprivileged in society.

    “We have been doing this for several years now and I want to put on record that this donation is not as a result of the COVID19 pandemic. Rather, this is to help put smiles on the faces of several disadvantaged people in society and give them hope. It is our desire to contribute to the human capital development of people within our communities and also help develop their skills as a means to add value to their lives”, he added.

    Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta has emerged as the third most searched word and the most searched musician in Ghana on YouTube for 2019 in the latest Hootsuite ranking.

    Hootsuite published a list of Top 20 YouTube search queries for Ghana and top of the list was the word “Movies” with an index of 100.

    Shatta Wale came in first among the musicians beating Stonebwoy and Sarkodie who placed 8th and 9th respectively on the Hootsuite list.

    The rest are Kwesi Arthur, Medikal and Kuami Eugene making it to the Top 20 YouTube search queries.

    Unconfirmed news reaching Ghgossip.com indicates that the boss of Shatta Movement Empire Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has been arrested by the Police.

    Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has been pushed to go back to his old ways of going hard on Ghanaians and top industry players.

    The Shatta movement boss, Shatta Wale who is known for showing off his wealth, properties and extravagant lifestyle has once again shown it in a recent video.

    In a video posted online by the Shatta movement boss, he was seen smashing the wind screen of an orange salon car till it was totally damaged.

    Judging from the settings, the video was a behind the scenes shot of one of his video shoots, which he was required to damage the wind screen of the car.
