  • Nacee is not a part of TGMA board – Robert Klah on Broda Sammy’s claims

Nacee is not a part of TGMA board – Robert Klah on Broda Sammy’s claims

Head of Public Events and Communications at Charter House, Robert Klah has addressed claims made by Broda Sammy regarding Nacee and the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Broda Sammy recently stated that Nacee’s position on the TGMA board would prevent him from winning any awards.

In an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, Klah clarified that Nacee is not a board member of the Telecel Music Awards, urging Broda Sammy to provide evidence for his claims.

“I think Nacee and Broda Sammy are two adults who obviously can solve things amongst themselves so I will leave it to them. Concerning the Board, I can confidently say Nacee is not part of the board members”, he said on Hitz FM.

He further challenged Broda Sammy to present proof to back his allegation.

“The Bible admonishes us to tell the truth. Broda Sammy is a Gospel Musician which means he should align with the tenets of the Bible and if what he says is true, then I dare him to simply prove that Nacee is on the board.

“This does not sit well with us [TGMA Team] and it is inappropriate for him to confidently say someone is on the board when the person isn’t”, Robert Klah stated.

Klah emphasized the importance of truthfulness and expressed dissatisfaction with the impact of the allegations, reassuring those who petitioned for corrections on their nominations that their concerns have been addressed.

The Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) has exposed Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, over his assertion that he is a female.

According to Bobrisky in past interviews, he has undergone surgery to become a complete woman.

The NCOS has made public their investigation after a thorough examination.

The NCOS revelation disclosed that Bobrisky holds male genitalia, contrary to his earlier assertion.

Initially apprehended over alleged Naira misuse, Bobrisky faced legal consequences, resulting in a six-month jail sentence.

The subsequent debate centered on which correctional facility suited Bobrisky’s gender identity, with the individual expressing a preference for a male-oriented facility.

  • Why Praye group split up

    Why Praye group split up

A member of the acclaimed Ghanaian music group Praye, Praye Tiatia has shed light on the true cause behind the group’s split, pointing to a rift with fellow member Praye Tenten.

In a candid interview on D-Black’s UNKUT show, Praye Tiatia unveiled the internal conflicts that led to the dissolution of the once-popular trio.

He disclosed that a disagreement with Praye Tenten over a secret album collaboration sparked tensions that eventually led to their breakup.

The revelation provides a glimpse into the inner workings of Praye, a group that enjoyed immense success in the early 2000s with hit tracks like ‘Angelina’, ‘Kakyere Me’, and ‘Otoolege’.

Praye Tiatia clarified that financial disputes were not the primary cause, emphasising that ego-driven conflicts played a major role in their separation.

“Choirmaster did not leave. Tenten left first, we had a small misunderstanding at the time and we called and when we were asking him, he said he had his reason for doing this, and if not so then he was leaving”

“He was doing some project with somebody we did not know about and somebody saw him and told us. I think they were recording an album or so and when we called him and asked him about it, the answer he gave [not cool] and he was like if you guys don’t understand, then Praye Ho-ne-ho) also said if you do not understand then I do not want to work with you again.

“And I was sitting there and me and him, Praye Tenten were on one side so he left and I followed suit and he moved out and that was it, the whole thing,” Praye Tiatia stated.

Contrary to speculation, Praye Tiatia clarified that financial disputes were not the driving force behind their breakup.

He emphasised that ego-driven conflicts rather than monetary concerns led to their separation.

“It was not about money because if it is ₵100,000, we know how to share it. You cannot go for a show, get money and you will take more than me, it is the ego that caused it,” he added.

Praye Tiatia underscored that a consensus and resolution between them could have avoided the breakup.

The departure of Praye Tenten in 2011 marked a significant turning point for the group, leading to their eventual disbandment.

Praye Tiatia’s insights highlight the importance of communication and resolution in maintaining successful group dynamics.

  • Drug dependency is also a spiritual affair – Mike Kesse reveals

Drug dependency is also a spiritual affair – Mike Kesse reveals

Gospel artist Mike Kesse recently opened up about his battle with addiction, attributing its roots to spiritual influences.

In a candid discussion on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Kesse recounted his journey from alcohol abuse and worldly habits to finding healing through God.

Highlighting the spiritual dimensions of addiction, Kesse emphasised the need for divine intervention in such situations.

He spoke of generational patterns and the profound impact of substance abuse on individuals and families.

“Sometimes it is way beyond what we feel like peer pressure. We should also think about the spiritual aspect too.

There is a spiritual side to it. It is like family inheritance. It is deeper than what we sometimes think. You can go back to your family history and you would notice that something that your father used to do, you also do the same, something that your mother is doing, you do too. If it is not alcohol, maybe womanising. You are doing it. It is a generational bomb,” Mike Kesse stated.

Reflecting on his own struggles with alcohol and shisha, Kesse shared how these substances had detrimental effects, both emotionally and financially.

“It will really affect you emotionally and financially. Emotionally because sometimes because of anxiety, when you stand on stage you feel like you are shy when you see the crowd so you need something to shade you to take the shyness away. But at the end of the day, you would say something that you will regret later,” he said.

He acknowledged turning to them to cope with anxiety but regretted the consequences of his actions.

When asked about his recovery, Kesse’s answer was simple yet profound: “God.”

He recalled a lifelong calling and the prophecies he received, eventually leading him to embrace gospel music and release songs that reflect his newfound faith.

Currently promoting his latest track ‘Worship Rise,’ Kesse has transitioned from secular to gospel music, marking a significant chapter in his career as a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and performer.

His story serves as a testament to the transformative power of spirituality in overcoming addiction.

Serwaa Amihere no longer an ambassador for Lamborghini energy drink – Blogger NY DjLive claims

Recent reports indicate that Serwaa Amihere, a prominent television personality, has parted ways with one of her ambassadorial contracts.

The deal in question was with @TLamborghini_ED, the franchise owners of Lamborghini Energy drink in Ghana.

Serwaa Amihere’s association with the Energy Drink company began in September 2023 when she was announced as their brand ambassador.

Her arrival at the announcement venue in a Lamborghini sparked significant online conversations.

Addressing speculations about the car, Serwaa clarified that it was a prop provided by the franchise owners, emphasising that she did not own the vehicle herself.

However, according to blogger NYDjLive, there are indications that Serwaa Amihere has lost this ambassadorial deal.

” Reports indicate that Serwaa Amihere has lost her ambassadorial deal, you can check her social media page to confirm and that of lamborghini energy drink, you won’t find any records. I don’t know if its because of her leaked video or not but reports indicate she has lost her ambassadorial deal for lamborghini energy drink,” Blogger NYDjLive claims.

The reasons behind this decision remain unclear, with speculation ranging from the leak of an intimate video involving her and Henry Fitz to potential company strategies.

In response to these developments, Serwaa Amihere has taken legal action by reporting Henry Fitz to the Police, with the case now under state prosecution.
